Around 2am, d DJ closed. And I was hopin it was Tdb #for_just_3h. I was putting on short, and mosquito plenty no be small. And I came alone. I decided 2go home...my house was somehow trekkable. Firstly, I ran into some securitymen who cautioned me seriously abt late nyt waka. Na God save me dat day, d oga ask me 'wat if dey shoot me now and place a gun on my body and tell ppl 2mao dat dey shot me as we were robbing, others escaped wit bullet wounds? I beg em wit all my hrt. It wasn't upto 5mins I left em, nnaa see dogs, hefty hefty dogs. They were jugging near me. My best bet was to run back to the securitymen, bt wat d securityman told me gives me shivers, heck at it, they may shot at me thinking it was a thief the watchdogs sniffed out. I preferred the dogs maybe they won't eat me finish, to a bullet tru my head! But seven rabid dogs! As they drew closer they increased their pace, a ploy to put me in motion but I was trapped by d fear of a bigger danger. I wanted to shout, my voice failed me. They were now very close to me, I wanted to form JamesBond, I began to wave em away feigning one kyn boss. But dem no evn do likesay dem hear me. By then fear enveloped me like blanket, I tot abt d horrible death dat awaits, I said 'God, it never crossed my mind dat I will be killed by dogs...wat a death, shameful I must tell u' As they get to me. I wanted to show em dat am harmless. I cldnt run, its too late. 7 dogs with 200w eyes, no chance in hell. The hand I raised while trying to wave em away, I began to return it make dem no see am as a form of attack. But I cldnt bring it down completely cos my hand will touch their head, that's how huge they were. So I hang it midway. I can feel their hot air all over my bare legs. One bit at my snickers, another my short. I was halfdead. I cldnt look at em, I closed my eyes. I can't even think. I felt em leaving one after the other. But some remained. Atlast only two remained. But two = seven. Na only zero be zero. This two began barking like say dey just noticed me now. Another two return to join em. They were now bark and jumping furiously at me. My legs were shaking. At this moment, 'I prayed...God pls u knew I didn't com here to hurt anybdy why shld these beasts devour me?' As if God answered, one left, the barking ceased. Only sniffing. Two reluctantly left. The last one circled me before running away. I was still shocked to move. Then I move cautiously, watching the direction they followed before I moved d next leg.
That's how I escaped devouring.
