Still battling with my latest purchase. Bought a 2012 Camry with inspection from Lagos in March. Only to discover that it has hard gear shifting issue especially from gear 4 through 6.
Changed the gear box around July costing about 750K(transmission + labour+ tranny oil) and only enjoyed 2weeks of flawless driving then bam the same issue of hard gear shifting arose again.
Since then I have been managing the car like that but then I now drive it on manual mode having discovered that I can drive it solely on the third gear to anywhere.
Planning on changing the gearbox again in January if money complete sha.

this is wrong. One must know the vehicle in question and then the thermostat rating. Some cars have a rating as low as 75 while some others have as high as 98. What is middle in Toyota may not be middle in a Benz.

Happy Saturday morning everyone, please I'm having an issue with my hyundai sonata 2015 sport 2.0t.
The movement has been dragging for weeks now, and when it's scanned it shows the codes P0106, P0234, P0236, P0620, P0625.
The mechanic and rewire have tried working on it but it's same result. It would go off when I get it back, but once I turn off the engine, on the next ignition, the check comes back on and the issue comes back.

Has anyone has this issue and how did you go about it? What did you do to get a lasting solution


I also have a P0447 that popped up after I got hit from the rear couple of months ago. Does anyone has this issue as well

you have the turbo variant of that sonata. That sonata is a very nice car. The major problem you have is from the turbo system. It shouldn't actually give issues until you accelerate so high to kick in the turbo. That's when the car would lose power. Shouldn't affect normal driving. That said, you need to identify the turbo and check the wire harness. You need to make sure it gets adequate voltage and it's ground is ok. If these are ok, then the turbo charger may be toast and will need replacement. That engine uses MAF and map. Locate the map, check the wiring. If ok, change the map. That's a good car you have there.
Add: as for the evaporative emission code, look for the purge valve, the mechanics may have tampered with the circuit. Maybe they didn't plug it or plug it well.

Sold it,besides that one blew a long time ago. Check jiji for gs 2jzge engine,igbo are crooks. The will remove the injector mouth and sell it seperate. I've not driven more than 2 weeks,got drunk and parked inside a mini gutter at home. So I abandoned it and travelled home.. when I'm back,heads will roll.

Catalytic converter bad, or missing or exhaust leak around the down stream O2 sensor and multiple misfires (Sparkplugs and injectors)

most times the catalytic converters are not bad when there is misfire code or MAF code. Once those codes are sorted, the catalytic converter codes disappear.
