VickyRotex:
I said so, but read the part where I also said 50 to 60%. i.e, not everyone shows symptoms in the first 2 to 6 days. So these results shows a part of the restriction liftoff.
Also it takes a couple of days for test results to return to NCDC so again, this doesn't account 100% for May 4th.
There are likely to be more results in the coming week. Hopefully not cry
yea. While we are hopeful, the obvious reality has to be stated. It will increase. One cretin replied me earlier. Actually thought it was you, whom I quoted.

VickyRotex:
These aren't even results from the lockdown liftoff or let me say these results does not account for 50 to 60% of the May 4th liftoff.

Virus incubation is between 2 to 14 days. The next one week result is what I fear. Hopefully it's not as bad as predicted. It's well!
you said incubation period is between 2 and 14 days , and you still maintain these results are not effect of lockdown relaxation? Today is 10th. Lockdown was relaxed on 4th. This is 6th day and 6 is between 2 and 14. Guy, we have started experiencing the effect. It will only increase.

Bauchi 44. Honestly bala Mohammed should be severely punished. This was one of the first to contract it in this country. Immediately he recovered, he relaxed lock down in his state, opened up mosques and even attended a service with so much crowd. See the result today. Katsina governor did same. Kano refused to lock down.

Mrs Agboola is a very good woman when she was the principal GSS karu abuja in 98, 99 and 2000.
if this is the same woman who was principal in 1998 and still in service in 2020 as head of service, then there is a problem. To be a principal, she would have attained level 13. 98 to 2020 is 22 yrs. She has been falsifying her age. She is not a good person if so.

bought 15k each in 2017. Couldn't find it anywhere. It was with the help of tpound that we found a set which we took off an Infiniti QX56 that was in complete condition for butcher in owode. Got few other parts from there too. But the headlamp was a pain to get. Got one for 60k. So, even old Infiniti has pricey parts

Why are Acura body parts so expensive? My car's rear bumper isn't up to 30k.

No near death or near miss experience here
Nairaland General › Re: Have You Ever Had A Near Death Experience? by chukel(m): 4:28pm On May 09, 2020
Mariangeles:
What has been a near death experience to you?

Mine was when I was a little girl, playing with 2 of my friends of about the same age, we thought it was a good idea to take turns to carry each other on our shoulders.

When it was my turn to climb onto the shoulder of one, I immediately knew it was a bad idea when I got on because, one, I had the fear of heights, and so I couldn't keep still grin

I wanted her to put me down immediately, but we didn't know the easiest way to do that...omg! embarassed
We kept wobbling back and forth because I couldn't keep still out of fear. The other kid was laughing, while I was beside myself with fear embarassed
Lastly, I fell so hard with my stomach slamming on the hard ground with a loud thud ( the most painful experience), I swear, for some seconds I couldn't breathe embarassed

While I was on the ground gasping for air, desperately trying to breathe and fighting to grasp onto life, my two so-called friends were laughing hysterically angry cry
When I was finally able to catch my breath, I cried so loud and hard....I cried ehn cry cry cry then they knew how serious it was.

I swear, I could have died that day and my parents would never have known what killed me.
Of course, they never knew what happened because I never told them. Heck! I never spoke about it ever. I just sucked it up.

As little as I was, I knew I could have died that day because what happened was serious...I just knew sad
this is not a near death or near miss.

See bro am not the one going after her again. After she told me she is engaged I immediately withdrew myself but the situation here now is that she is the one coming for me. I don't even look at her face in church but one way or the other she will try to come around me. She watches my every move in church just in case I want to try out another lady in church. Most times when am smiling and chatting with my phone you'd clearly see this frown on her face. I've been observing this trend for a while now.

And you know once you love someone, definitely you'd fell like trying your luck once again to see whether their is a chance something could be established between you both. That's the state of dilemma I am in now. And also the lady too fine bro.

I value your advice bro and I will try to restrain myself from her at all cost. Funny enough I don't even call her on phone.
you have been hallucinating a lot. Unfortunately, you lack courage. People who lack courage, daydream a lot. Courageous people act. Stop seeing what does not exist. Soon you will start hearing her imaginary voice. Be a man. Be bold. Make moves again. Stop hallucinating.

Hello cars guru in the house , please what could be wrong with my lexus, I keep noticing the back going down. I ALWAYS HAVE TO PRESS THE AIR SUSPENSION BUTTON TO HIGH TO TAKE IT BACK UP.

PLS ANY SUGGESTION OR A GOOD MECHANIC WITH EXPERIENCE ON THIS ISSUE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
the air suspension is bad. It's leaking. That's what they call the balloon. Scan it to rule out the air suspension compressor. But my bet is on the air spring (balloon) leaking.

Christianity Etc › Re: Wearing Facemask About Is An Embarrassment To Science - Pastor Chris Oyakhilome by chukel(m): 8:17am On May 07, 2020
Gabbriell:
He didn't mention the reason but it is quite obvious for science students.

The problem is that this part of the world (Nigeria), when u send children to school..they just go play and play and then maybe smoke weed b4 returning home with empty heads. That is why people are busy insulting him.

Here are some of the obvious reasons he is driving at:

1. The coronavirus is around 100 nanometer in size (diameter). For the layman.. this is about 0.00005cm.

2. The pores (openings) in our skin is vary from person to person and can get as wide as 250 micrometers (0.025) to 500nanometer (0.05cm)

The first point shows that the virus is almost weightless (in a layman view) and thus can defy gravity for a long time and stay afloat in the air. The duration it can stay in the air depend on the size of the droplets it is attached to. 1.e should someone sneeze into the air, the virus can stay up there for quite sometimes depending on the size of the droplets. It could be days or weeks.

The second point ( main point behind pastor Chris science statement). A simple mathematical comparison of the figures above simple show that the virus can easily enter through our body pores. Again the eyes are wide open for the virus enter. Face mask (even surgical masks) are made to prevent sprays or large droplets not stuffs that are much more micro in size. There is a special protective gear for high nanometer-level size particles.
Note: These categories of viruses (coronavirus) are so small. Even the modern day optical microscope with it's highest resolution of around 200nanometers can't see some strains of coronavirus. So it is embarrassing to scientifically say wearing facemask protect people from coronavirus.

Let mi stop here and not borther you with much scientific details.

THE MAIN ADVANTAGE OF THE FACE MASK IS THAT COVID 19 PATIENCE CANT SNEEZE INTO THE AIR AS THEY NORMALLY WOULD WITHOUT FACE MASK TO REDUCE THE SPREAD. so it is a little helpful if everyone is on facemask..but covering one's mouth during sneezing is almost thesame thing.

For the anti-religious warlocks that will wrongfully quote me. Don't waste your time b/c I don't respond to emotional/abusive arguments.
I guess your first sentence summarised you. You went ahead to write gibberish without any reference. I can tell you studies have been done on this using various types of face masks and a conclusion was reached that these face masks protect against corona virus with different degrees of efficiency. I will attach a picture of the conclusion of the certified study as well as the link. You and your pastor are definitely sick and seeking undue relevance. Cc. Talkingoil

nothing to counter, cos he made no point. Very immature and empty post. Talked total nonsense. Does he know what haemoglobin saturation pressure of oxygen is? I wear face mask in the theatre and operate for as long as 6hrs and I don't collapse. Does he know the science and technology applied in the production of face mask? Does he know the particulate size of corona virus? Does he think corona virus can pass through the breather pores of surgical face mask? He typed from a disgruntled perspective. I didn't need to respond to him cos he is a Chris fanatic.

he talked from a verbose ignorant point of view. I have address that issue in reply to someone. Surgeons who wear face masks on a daily basis would have been dead by now. Chris should stick to the bible. He is stark ignorant when it comes to science. He can't even do proper research.

He never said Masturbation is not a sin, he said the act of sin is not the action of masturbating itself but the fact that while at it, you think lustful thoughts and probably watch ponography hence he is saying even though masturbation is not written in the bible the lust that comes with it makes it a sin. I watched the video years ago and I remember it vividly, some said that most people who have been schooled in Nigeria should take a balanced reasoning and comprehensive course and comments like yours makes me wanna believe that recommendation is correct.
you actually should take that advice of yours, cos your reasoning and comprehension are well below par. You schooled abroad but far worse than the Nigerian schooled whom you condemn. My statement was a clear question, asking for evidence that he said so. Your response was tangential and completely off.
