that of rice I believe it. Cos most of them are rice seized by customs for God knows how long ago. Most of those bags have been in the containers in which they were seized. Why won't they spoil. My worry is why FG decided to share them. But beans? I don't believe cos custom was never in the business of seizing beans. Beans was never banned.

I'm not defending this government. However people have been known to be heartless. The same management in charge of IDPs have been known to cart away the food meant for IDPs in the past. Why are they not showing the spoilt beans. Is there a conspiracy to make those bags of beans disappear in the name of being bad? It's just a possibility that those who have been in the business of carting away food meant for IDPs could falsely allege that the bags of beans are spoilt, the loot them, use some and resell others to make huge profit. It's just a possibility.

those Benin guys are heartless. The first check before the bypass. There are 2 checks just before bypass. The first are devils. No matter what you pay, they must extort heavily. I pray they have useless children that will ruin them. Custom is extremely corrupt.

rexlims:
very lame excuse from FG.
my reasons are;
1. is it that before now these lecturers receive their stipends by hand?
2. is FG saying that these lectures teaching in other schools use different names and Ids?
there is something they call gifmiss account. This account is held by universities. The process in paying lecturers salary is this. The university compiles salary of the lecturers in the institution. Sends the total sum to FG. FG pays the amount into the gifmiss account. The vice chancellor and bursar will now draw money there by themselves to pay lecturers. That way a lecturer can earn salary from more than 1 university without FG's knowledge at the detriment of the economy. Now FG wants to pay direct. No more dumping money into gifmiss. Direct payment requires BVN.

Mad man. The Chinese initially came to treat buhari whom you claimed is dead. Later changed the narrative to Abba Kyari. Same man still came up to say the Chinese were brought to melt Aso rock door which prevented buhari access to his office. Again the narrative has changed. The Chinese came to run the country and take our resources. And you say this man is not a lunatic and his followers are not mad?

Just go and do urinalysis and mcs. Shun all these online diagnosis. Any discharge? You should be more concerned about deadlier infections as HIV , HBV and HPV. Run tests for these too. You were too careless. I'm sure you do not even known the status of the girl with respect to the aforementioned infections. If she could open her legs to a strange to drive in raw, she may actually have nothing to lose.

Thank you everyone for your candid opinions on this.

Seeing that I don't stand a good chance with any of the listed cars above, I ask you good people:

With the same budget of 1.6m - 1.7m, can I get a good deal for either

2008/09 camry toyota
2008/09 corolla toyota

If yes, which do you recommend with the following indices:

-Fuel economy
-Availability of affordable parts
-Ruggedness
now your considerations and match tally. I assume you still talking about Nigerian used. For that amount, you will have change. I know you can get a toks 2007/2008 Camry for 2m. Please save more and complete it. I think same can go for 09 corolla. Remember 08 is different from 09. Finally, considering your indices, 09 corolla takes it. All the best

https://www.nairaland.com/5793109/advice-lexus-best-car-buy#88481900
I have read them. Those are not valid and don't cut across all the production. You can't use one or two people's problems to make a generalisation. Akin to same thing we have been saying here. First about the dashboard, it's not peculiar to IS250. Camry 07 to 09, Lexus RX330 and 350 of same body, Avalon 05- 07, Lexus ES350, Lexus GX470 all have cracking and melting dashboards. Infiniti fx is not excluded. All those other issues mentioned are not gotten across board on all IS250. That car is a great car with all the gadgets packed in it. Engine and transmission are very good.

Thanks for your response.

No, not a first time user. I've once used a Lexus RX330

I'm considering these Indices:

Fuel economy
Availability and cost of spare parts
Little bit of luxury and ruggedness

Thanks
you can't be considering availability of parts and be looking at an IS250. You know GS is a 3.5 litre engine and you seek fuel economy. Finally, these cars you mentioned as naija used will be more of a nightmare in my opinion. Unless you are very sure of maintenance history. And the prices you mention, are not feasible for good Nigerian used of those cars. Finally, your considerations and your wants do not have any relationship. Re evaluate your considerations or change your wants.
NB: I have all the cars you mentioned, but tokunbo.

i have INPA as well but ISTA D is just better.i believe thats what BMW dealerships use as well but i could be wrong
I ll check if i still have the installation file for ISTA. if i do i can burn it on a DVD and send it to you if you really want it or you could just download it.it a big file tho. think it was 13gb or so then 20Gb after you unzip.
but you can do absolutely everything related with troubleshooting and repairs ISTA D. It even provides a step by step guide with pictures of how to remove, test and replace parts. if you are into coding modules and stuff like that you ll need ISTA P or you could just use NCS expert from your INPA installation.
You ll be surprised how easy it is to work on and fix BMWs if you have the right tools.
please can we chat on whatsapp. Thanks

i dont know how familiar you are with BMWs generally or the E9x platform. but the 335i is my thrid BMW and my 3rd E90.
I bought it on IAAI and before the car even got here i already ordered the parts i knew were common failure points. The N54 engine itself is bulletproof, its just the accessories and other parts around it that fail. I plan to keep this car for a while so i was willing to put the money into it.
here are a list of things i did immediately i received the car
-changed valve cover gasket
-oil pan gasket
-all turbo seals and drain lines
-Front crankshaft seal
-Surprisingly the car came with index one injectors and were running just fine but i took all 6 out and put in refurbished index 12s and coded them to the DME with ISTA D
-Cleaned intake valves
-changed water pump and thermostat with brand new OEM ones
-changed all spark plugs
later this year i intend to change all my cooling hoses and coils. My car runs like its brand new and i have had it for almost a year and intend to keep it for many more. but i have been driving e90s for about 4 years.
I ll attach pictures of the car as i bought it on IAAI and when i took delivery.
pretty car you have here. I have inpa scanner. Need to get ista D.

Guy pls how is the lexus 470? my broda wants to buy it 4rm a friend but he is worried about fuel economy and availability of spare parts
very reliable. Very strong. That engine and gearbox are sturdy and maybe never die. That said, you shouldn't be concerned about fuel consumption and still desire a V8. However, the fuel consumption isn't bad for a V8. Parts are everywhere. Moreover, what will you be changing. Find out why his friend is selling.

You said it yourself no car is problem free. I am sure you'll also agree with me that some cars are more problem prone than others irrespective of how diligently they are maintained. BMW's and Benz from the early 2000 to date are right there in the list of such vehicles. I don't need to experience something to know if its true or false.
you see the problem I have with people. Those who condemn a particular car are those who have never owned that car. You have no ownership right to give a review on BMW having not owned one.

I own Toyotas, Lexus, Infiniti and a 2008 BMW 535i sports. The BMW in my own opinion is reliable. I enjoy it most followed by GX470. I don't know what issues people refer to when BMW is mentioned. I bought it tokunbo and will urge you to buy a tokunbo. Mine has not a single malfunction light on the dashboard. It's a joy to drive. People usually buy badly maintained Nigerian used BMW and complain. Maintenance is key and doesn't cost much in my own opinion. Most of the parts are cheap too when compared with Toyota parts.

Add: BMW isn't a car you just dump for mechanics to fix and walk away. You must have interest in it and know how to fix some parts. You must really have interest to look up problems and solutions on YouTube and guide your mechanic. I was very happy changing my rear brake pads and the sensor by myself. YouTube is always more than helpful

Ipobians are the greatest liars and greatest propagandists I have ever seen. Yet they accuse the FG of same. Look at that horrible pic. There is no evidence it's the gathering of ipob. No evidence there is even any form of sharing going on there. No evidence of rice. The place is so orderly. Usually there is little or no order when sharing relief items in this covid era. Very shameless people. Really don't understand the kind of brain they have. Very obvious to them Nnamdi kanu is a fraud, but out of shame, they won't admit.
