Hello house , I am looking forward to get my first car . BMW has really caught my eye, most especially the interior. My budget is 2M but can consider more . I have been eyeing 325i I’m not sure of the model . Please Engliten me is bmw not so problematic , can I get 325 at that budget, tokunbo preferably. I need to know please , I am also have an eye on Lexus IS 250. I can’t buy Corolla a their price, I believe they are overpriced. Suggestions please .

which year of 325i are you looking at. 2m may not get you a sound toks IS250, but may get you a 325i depending on the year you want. Both are good cars but I believe Lexus will give you more reliability. Remember it's your first car. If you are tech savvy, then you wouldn't have issues with both.

Honestly custom duty is killing us in this country. Sometimes you pay almost the cost of purchase or even more as custom duty.

you just don't have the experience. Leave it. There are different grades of auction cars. I bought an accidented 2013 camry XLE from copart in 2018 at $6k excluding fees. Mileage was 53k. Car was impeccably clean. No deployed airbag. The amount you buy a car is determined by the state of that car. Yes you can get for 3.8m, an XLE that is terribly damaged.
You see Toyota products, Nigerians have bastardised it at auctions. Even the most useless corolla, Camry and highlander go for exorbitant prices. Our G boys have also not helped. They use these purchases to launder money

It's so painful to work in Nigeria. my younger brother who happens to work with a Federal Government Teaching Hospital has not been paid for about four months since he resumed duty as a House Officer. And you expect him to keep working on daily basis about 13 of them have not been paid,you still want him to work. When workers who are not working are paid for staying at home and you want someone working to continue because of humanity services. Let's not forget this are human beings. I keep sending him money to manage but does it make any sense? Even this lock down they have not done to see they pay this young man his salary and yet they keep working as frontline Doctors,Doing Casualty calls at Accident and Emergency. It's so pathetic to be Nigerian. It's very annoying to be working and yet you won't receive a dime salary and we want to them to work tirelessly. How can a Doctor be working this period and yet don't receive any payment? Isn't that wickedness in the highest places? If the hospital don't have human sympathy at least do the needful on this young man who is working during Corona Virus outbreak. God should save our souls. It's so terrible......don't be annoyed if you hear Dr's don't attend to patients or striking at this period most time the hospital no try and it's nothing to live for it.

the problem of Nigeria is greatly from Nigerians. Your brother and other house officers haven't been paid simply because the chief medical director and director of finance in that hospital locked their money. House officers are not under ippis, else this nonsense will not happen. Their salaries hit the hospital account every month from FG. But these wicked men refuse to pay them.
