dannybrasky: Now you get where I am coming from! I was just being diplomatic about the whole scenario earlier. Dealer is a known person to me,buyer preordered the car for N3.1m. Dealer told him he would deliver the car for that amount, and yes he did by slashing custom duty and not informing buyer.
Yes,awoof dey run belle, buyer would find out someday if the god of cars are against him
now I realise how some of these guys sell at ridiculously low amounts. Sometimes i wondered if they have a different place they buy from. Or I only purchase when auction prices are high. I will hold my head high and never deviate from what is right no matter circumstances.
nice, but you really need to work on your presentation. This includes your write up. Being able dish out facts within a concise time is key to having people watch, like and subscribe to your channel or videos. You really need to work on content and delivery time. You mentioned a lot of what to me is irrelevant with lots of repetition. Well done. There is always a starting point. You will definitely improve.
drakeskull: My E90 lowers itself on the rear when I engage R or D and lifts itself when in P or N. My former E90 (06) doesn't do this. Is it normal?
cc chukel
I know early model automatic Benz (flat boot) did that. The rear goes up on reverse and down on drive. I have noticed some rear axle do that when parked on an inclined level without using the hand brake properly. I don't think there is anything wrong so long as it shifts smoothly during movement.
Jeffthegreat: I’m experiencing same problem ..with my Toyota Matrix 2007 model...I will change the abs module tomorrow to see and know what to bro done ..the failed speedometer has also contributed to a quite hard shift in my gear ..no speed sensor found on my gear ..was told my abs controls all of that
don't rush and change abs module first. Scan the car. It may give I a P0500 which may just be the sensor or the fuse.
sultaan: Which one of you guys brought in Momphas RX on this page. Things must be tight for the guy if he has downsized to ordinary RX from all these big cars the pose with.
The fact the judges had to sit at night and deliver that judgement shows there are higher forces. This may not be directly about obaseki. But remotely will affect obaseki's travail. This judgement actually pulls the rug off tinubu's feet. Cos it invalidates Ajimobi. Remember there are also issues in Rivers State in which oshiomole's NWC has been stoking, arming magnus abe's faction against Amaechi. There may be so many sides to this. If it was primarily about obaseki, he would have known before hand and not resigned.
Bunmi21: Ok, thanks. I also heard from a reliable source about a benz that was part of the cars left at cotonou was heavily vandalised. All major parts were stolen, including car key. I was told the guy is suing. If such happens to my car also, i will do same.
very possible. They steal a lot at cotonou. A lot. And for the fact those cars were dumped there for a long time, it's only God that will save us. I pray mine is intact. It's keyless. Them no de use eye see am. Painful. Africans are horrible.
Bunmi21: How long does it take to clear a car out, specially the one that came with Reppublica de brazile ATA 12th june?
depends on when the process started, how fast your agent is and system devoid of network issues. Normally 3-5days. But if the process was started even before the arrival of ship, it can take just day or 2 from when the car was moved to terminal.
egin88: Bro @ How am going to know that my vehicle hv been discharge.? This is first time of buying vehicle from abroad, because of issues with gramaldi hv know what I don't support know
I believe before morning, they will update the site. My agent was on ground. Immediately they transferred the car to the terminal, he did the valuation and I paid the duty this afternoon. Expecting it by tomorrow if server is not down.
ModelX: Wrong. How does slightly high rpm translate to car running rich? Yes it is overcompensating at startup(like any normal car before settling to 1,000) but taking a little longer to warm up, agreed. Fuel consumption is definitely not any higher than before. No black soot. Exhuast steams like a fresh fish.
With your analogy then fan should never come on, even with thermostat, if indeed it makes engine perpetually cold never getting to optimal temperature.
ModelX: Yes at cold start and idling. I'm good because when I put it in drive rpm drops to 1 on the button.
ECU will relearn.
that's bad. Your fuel consumption must be high. You see, your rpm is always high trying to compensate for the perpetually cold engine that never gets to optimal temperature. Car will run rich. Fuel consumption will be high. Exhaust will have black soot. Engine is dying gradually.
magnetic20: Comedian everywhere! Greed is the problem of most car dealers. Somebody go count 1.3 take buy golf 3 when corrolla spot dey just to add small money.
ignorance is the problemmof most buyers. Until you exchange naira for dollar, buy a car abroad, truck it, ship it, pay custom duty, you will never be informed.
ModelX: Don't panic bro. Leave it like that as long as your car runs fine. What I do with mine is to allow the engine warm for about 5mins or until the rpm drops to between 1.5 to 1.7 and temperature guage rises a tiny bit before driving off. If you're in a hurry then turning AC on immediately after starting helps to warm up faster. My temp guage has never gone above quarter even with AC in traffic and I like it like that. I used to argue thermostat too before until overheating showed me pepper. If your car is not an over-engineered late model, remove the damn thing. Small price to pay to prevent overheating forever and yes kazeems may be illiterate but in the long run they are a much cheaper alternative to all these google mechanics.
you mean after 5mins, your rpm is 1500-1700. There is problem o.
Nbote: Hahahahaha... First the Minister of Aviation claims the flight was cleared to fly a Judge and now d airline claim dey mistook Naira Marley for Fashola?? Which kind comedy show b dis abeg..
kingreign: German company, their oil is amongst the oil recognized and recommended by Mercedes Benz. It's in Benz BeVo list.
about 5yrs ago, a lady tried convincing me it was good. I ran. She claimed to be importing it from Germany then. And it was cheap. She mentioned a can of either 5L or 7L. Can't remember. Do you use the oil?
