The fine pdp and it's lawyers will pay will be more than Afe Babalola and Olanipekun put together. They really did everything to drag the supreme court to the mud. Their thrashing will be legendary. After that, no lawyer will take up any supreme court judgement for reveiw by the supreme court.

walexbiz:
Let separate fact from fiction, if you have ever witnessed the conclusion of an election at the polling unit you would know that each party are usually issued photocopies of the election result which is admissible in the court of law. So the question of where the result emanated from is not an issue but where the confusion arose from is this with regards to the judgement;

(1) the tribunal and court of appeal actually declared iledioha the winners because witnesses were called and judges listened to their statement during cross examination and they decide after going through the submission of the party involved in the litigation and witnessing the cross examination of the witnesses, based in their assessment they declared iledioha the governor.

(2) the supreme court only read the application of the litigants and the ruling of the courts and the same day they gave judgements

(3) the supreme court in its wisdom decides to vacate the ruling of the tribunal which the court of appeal had affirmed thus putting a question of credibility on the appeal court and the tribunal ruling.

(4) if the supreme had done due diligence it would have either asked Inec to either provide the election result of those over 300 polling unit and cross check it against that of APC.

(5) if it didn't go along that route it could have asked inec to conduct a new election or conduct an election in those affected areas affected but it chose otherwise and affirm the prayers of Hope which leads to the moral question of the day.

(6) the moral question of the day is the supreme court legalizing rigging? Since it added those result from the cancelled polling unit to that of hope, it increased the total number of voters thereby surpassing the total number of accredited voters.

(7) The PDP has asked for a review of the election so it behoves on the supreme court to either reverse itself so as to correct the anomaly or explain to Nigerians especially imolite how it's possible for the number of voters to exceed the total number accredited voters.

(cool if the supreme court should reverse itself it'll put a lot of issues on credibility on the supreme court and being that most Nigerians politicians are reckless they would always seek review of any supreme court rulings. Also should the supreme court stand by its rulings then it would have giving credence to fraud.

(9) in any case the supreme court is between the devil and the deep blue sea as it has shown that the supreme court is really fallible to its own judgement. Anyway this are my own thought but I'll like to see how the supreme court manuover itself out of this quagmire.
bro, you are still stating fiction here. Uzodimma's evidence was never admitted at the tribunal cos the tribunal judges rejected it. How can you reject evidence of a petitioner without even looking at it. That was very wrong. At the appeal, appeal court struck out the case based on technicality without considering the merits of the case. Bother erred at different levels. Go and thoroughly read through the proceedings of both courts. Remove sentiments, supreme court was right. Uzodimma may have cooked up results, the case before the supreme court never bothered on the authenticity of the result. Even so, the results provided were on original EC8a from inec. The ones they presented were police copies which are admissible in court. We should leave out sentiments and look at this case objectively. Those saying total number of votes at the end of the day superseded the number of accredited voters are either daft or have the intention of deceiving the public. They added the number of those who voted APC in the 388 polling units to the overall votes and refused to add the number of accredited voters from these 388 polling units to the already known number of accredited voters prior to the 388 polling unit results. If about 256,000 voters voted apc in those polling units, they must have been accredited. So that number should also be added to the already existing number of accredited voters. Remember other parties also had small votes in the contentious 388 polling units. Means those voters were accredited too. Add the number also. This will tell you the lies people are peddling. They are intentionally peddling lies. Others are too daft to understand.

This is more clear now. Thanks for your clarifications.

Supreme court made a grave mistake which if not corrected would lead to massive riggings in the future. I hope Supreme court would maintain this style of Judgement and not change when it is done by PDP.
supreme court made no mistake. You guys just listen to propaganda. Read through the proceedings of the tribunal and the judgement. The tribunal refused to admit forms EC8A from the 388 polling units as evidence. So they were never tendered in the tribunal. The very first time they were tendered was in the supreme court. This was the reason uzodinmma asked the supreme court to admit the evidence and declare him winner. At the appeal court, the appeal was determined based on technicalities and struck out. I strongly believe ihedioha bribed tribunal judges. But that was his nemesis. If they had admitted the 388 form EC8a evidence at tribunal, there would have been opportunity to thrash out all the issues they are raising now about accredited voters, voter turn and other irregularities. Bringing it up now is pure relitigation. Look at Agabi's appeal, he never spelt out these things cos he knew being direct will lead to striking out the appeal on grounds of relitigation. So he went emotional and sentimental.
Politics › Re: Imo Guber Review: PDP Submits Final Addresses To The Court by chukel(m): 12:39am On Feb 22, 2020
Finally, Agabi is empty. Jeez. There is no substance in all he wrote there. Just sentiments and emotion. Finally Agabi will mess himself up. As I said earlier, pdp has no case at all. Any discerning mind comparing the appeal of olanipekun and this will know without bias that olanipekun is way ahead of Agabi. I'm really disappointed. Clutching on straw of sentiments and emotions. God, who did this to pdp. They will surely cry foul.

parties don't have original. Can only have photocopies. There are 3 original copies. One is pasted at the polling unit. Another (inec's copy) is taken to the ward for collation. The third is given to the police
Politics › Re: Ihedioha VS Hope VS INEC: I Need Explanation From Political Gurus Please by chukel(m): 11:16pm On Feb 21, 2020
So much ignorance here. Everybody who commented above is just basking in ignorance. There are forms EC8a, EC8b, EC8c and EC8d. From the polling units, votes are entered into result sheet called form EC8a. This sheet is taken to the ward collating centre and entered with other polling unit results into form EC8b. EC8b from various wards are taken to LGA collating centre and entered into form EC8c. Then EC8c from various LGAs are used to compute results at state collating office by the REC into form EC8d. For each of these stages, police has a copy. In hope uzodimma's case, results from 388 polling units were entered into their various forms EC8a. But on getting to the ward collating centres, for reasons best known to the collating officers, refused entering those results into form EC8b. That is the basis of this exclusion of result case. Hope uzodinmma retrieved the 388 EC8a forms from the police. The police presented them in court. That should be clear to any unbiased mind.

Supreme court will throw out the case. However, to answer your question, Hope will win. These are the reasons.
1. Rochas still controls orlu zone. Rochas is with hope. Orlu zone definitely will want their own as governor. Orlu zone is in the bag for hope.
2. Ararume controls okigwe zone. Araarume is with hope. Most of okigwe will be in the bag for hope
3. Issue is owerri zone. Mbaise will be checkmated properly. No more over voting and writing of votes there. Rochas and nwosu still have followership. Owerri will be split. Hope has also shown good leadership these few days. Ihedioha's minions were laughing that hope will not pay salaries. He not only paid but paid pensioners. He also approved 30k minimum wage. Constructions which ihedioha started, he has continued with them.
4. Hope is a money bag and knows how to dole money. Ihedioha is stingy. People move with money flow. Ihedioha has the money but won't bring it out.
5. Hope is yet to appoint commissioners. He will get the strong men from owerri zone compensated. He will make an in road in that zone.
6. He has federal might behind him.

franchasng:
Imo people didn't vote for Hope. Hope didn't even do campaign in Imo because of the APC crises between him and Rochas fronting his in law Uche Nwosu against APC wish.

On the day of the election, Hope and Oshiomhole APC loyalists were lodged in a Hotel in owerri writing results after INEC announced result. They brought the results and was compelling returning officer to announce but he refused that it's fake that even party reps have raised the alarm.

In the result sheets only Hope Uzodimma's result was eligible, and he was just awarding himself votes without knowing number of accredited voters for each polling unit was lesser just to make sure his written result supersede that of Emeka.

Election tribunal threw his case out citing same reason I narrated. Appeal court who are same judges threw it out and even warned him that if not for a reason that he ought to be jailed for this brazen forgery.

Boom, supreme Court awarded him votes and announced him winner without considering all recommendations by previous judges.

Worst comes to worst, supreme Court ought to have ordered for a rerun in the affected poling units but because they were acting on instruction from presidency they had to announce Hope winner.

Let me tell you, Emeka saw the plan of Buhari and APC weeks ahead. He left Owerri to Abuja to plead with President men and even begged Oshiomhole that he is ready to change party to APC but Oshiomhole said no his heart is PDP that someone has been chosen which is Hope. Emeka evacuated his belongings from Imo government house days before the ill judgment was pronounced.

Emeka's case saved Sokoto Tambuwal because they wanted to remove Tambuwal too but on getting the tip off, Tambuwal alerted Sultan of Sokoto who mediated and rallied all Northern Emirs to warn Presidency that he doesn't need change of government in his emirate which would cause chaos in peaceful Sokoto.

Remember the judge that was to head the supreme court panel for this injustice withdrew few days to the judgment when he was told what to do, he said he couldn't be a party to such injustice so he withdrew from the case citing health issue. These are the red flags to tell Nigerians that Buhari is a very bad man who doesn't wish Nigeria well at all.

According to Oshiomhole and Buhari men, the reason they did the coup they did in IMO state is to save APC from being a regional party. they want APC to be a national party with one Governor in all the 6 geopolitical zones ahead of 2023 presidential elections.

No matter your political affiliation please try and always stand on the side of justice
see concocted lies. Kai. Someone will just sit in a room, comfortably imagine lies, then spice it up. Pick a phone and start typing lies for gullible ones to believe. Even devil is better than you.

Mentally inept and financially reckless. He has no modicum of innovation. No plan. No projection. Sullivan did almost everything needed to be done in enugu. Just maintain and continue from where Sullivan stopped, Ugwuanyi can't. The single most tormenting problem in enugu is water. Ugwuanyi will finish 8yrs without addressing that. Very simple project. He prefers to dole money for image laundering. His billboards adorn every nook and cranny of enugu state. Shame on you all.
