people that are asked to get payslip are the ones that received any form of extra pay from d month of January till may.. the essence of the pay slip is to state wat the extra pay received was for. for those that received arrears on Jan, their pay slip stated that the extra pay was an arrear while those that received extra pay as a result of d Feb Nd march error in payment of salary will b asked to go Nd pay back d extra money into rsgv acct before they will b captured.. so that means the payslip states the essence of any extra pay.. do u now understand?
Ok, thnx dear.

I'm getting confused here pls. A guy who did biometrics yesterday(PPSB phalga) said he wasn't asked for his pay slip. Pls is there any other PPSB Phalga here who has done his/her biometrics? Was pay slip required? As some of us are too busy to go and spend long hours at the board only for it to be a total waste of precious time later.

You still need pay slip. Infact, it is now mandatory for everone as one of the requirements. The board is giving and some have even been printed for collection as Dexpee4life rightly said.
And if urs is not there, they will issue you with urs. Go and get ur January pay slip. as Feb is not ready.
Ok thnx

. No its UBE n d extra pay came as a surprise to us all in KELGA as we have 4 long finished our arrears. The greatest surprise is dat d pay came wit an increment of 2k 4 each month.
It's because of things like this that we're suffering this hardship.

I hv just collected my Jan. pay slip from the board. The aim of collecting the pay slip is to indicate ur arrears or otherwise. If u were double paid, it will also show up there.
Most people i met here were turned back from the biometrics venue to get theirs.
. Since this year, I've not received any arrears. My last was in Nov which was paid in Dec. Do I still need to get a pay slip pls?

great! now the news will be up that they've paid up to may salary..
ONE CHANCE
My thoughts EXACTLY. Now the ignorant, on hearing that a few people have been paid, coupled with the 'eye service' constructions going on, will be ready to SCRATCH OUT your eyes should you complain about non-payment seeing you as one who is deliberately trying to sabotage the 'hardworking governor'. Anyway, in all these, I'm consoled by the fact that GOD DEY and He'll surely deliver His people, amen!

It beats me that people are still SENTIMENTALLY BLIND to what is happening in the state now. The score mark for any govt is satisfaction of its workers' first before any other 'eye service' venture. People have to be alive to enjoy any infrastructure now. Can the dead see? At least I remember that during Amaechi's tenure, my salary and arrears were coming regularly albeit a bit delayed by 1 or 2 wks. However, under this regime, the former was the case before judgement, after which if you manage the get your salary at all, you're indeed VERY LUCKY and for those of us whose arrears are still being owed, that is now in the hands of GOD. I pray God delivers us from this evil. Amen!!!

He said his administration will continue to subsidise education, but added that the people should be prepared to pay maintenance fees to assist the state government run the educational institutions.

Everyone who understands the civil service job knows that when a new govt is coming into power,a lot of ghost names are introduced by folks at d ministry before anyone notices......My ppl, salaries of workers in a state cannot just sky rocket, somebody somewhere must have added something to it.....This exercise must continue.I feel d pain of not being paid, but what has to be done must be done. Some ppl have started receiving a raise in their salaries since we became confirmed while others haven't.I can't be working, only for someone else to be receiving salary dey did nt work for.I hv been teaching biology in my school because I tot we had no Biology teacher, only for me to realise d idiot is some where cashing his money n giving d principal his cut while I work my ass out teaching more than one subject.#Dis exercise must continue.........
Nobody said the exercise isn't necessary, but if the govt is sincere and has the interest of the masses at heart, it should have been done at a convenient time without it having to throw people into hardship. Fed govt did theirs, but it never affected their time of payment.

For someone being kind enough to give nursing mother‘s 1k out of his own pocket has now become a topic of discussion.
Nomatter the good you do, people will still read meaning to it
. Maybe I'm a bit confused here. Who actually gave the 1k or directed for it to be given? Because if it's the governor, I STILL MAINTAIN what I said. But if it's someone giving out of his own benevolence, God bless the person.
