Yes @state level. Crude oil or not, the previous can never be compared with this one. It was transparent, fair and constant in its salary payment. This one? Hmmm...still trying to find a word for it. Just SMH

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has recalled the four commissioners earlier suspended from office.
The commissioners recalled by the governor are: Dr John Bazia, Chieftaincy Affairs; Mrs Tonye Briggs-Oniyide; Culture and Tourism; Dr Fred Kpakol, Finance and Mr Boma Iyaye; Sports.

I won't bother joining issues with you,if I understand correctly,all those who have not received salaries all have a common problem,which is the February non-payment issue which was due to late submission of BVN and other details(which isn't the government's fault).The entire process that led us to this point is as a result of the biometric team's inability to resolve the issue on time.When the issue was resolved weeks back,was the list not sent to the governor for approval?Will the governor go to the ICT department and do their job?You are to be likened unto a tortoise who has been in a pit toilet for years,only to complain of the stench on the day he was being rescued.Your money is here,and we all know it wont be paid this week but next week.Put ur mind on that and stop trying to insult someone who doesn't care about your cheap words.

Hey! Who gave you that wrong info? I was paid Feb and March, likewise my colleagues in the same school, did my biometrics on 7th July, but yet to get my salary. OPEN YOUR EYES pls and stop defending a governor who is wining, dining and feeding fat while you're here dying of hunger and patiently, or is it comfortably waiting to be paid your stipends.

Has this become a kind of prison where one isn't free to air his/her opinion? Pls the elections are over, and last I checked one is entitled to their opinion. I've gone through some of ikem's posts. The guy doesn't talk anyhow and I don't see what he'll gain by making such a false claim so he might actually be saying the truth. It's just that it's strange that no one else has been paid.

As I speak, we did not only clear the huge backlog of salaries owed to civil servants, pensioners, primary health workers and the State football teams by the previous administration; we are up to date in our salary obligations to civil servants, except those who still have issues to clear with our biometric staff audit exercise.
