pls sabi mamas who has used the chlorxy gel(sic) for navels, how is it applied. my Ds cord is yet to fall off at 2 wks +,I'm at a loss cos I've never has it last this long before.
what can I do to hasten the fall off,I've been using as before.
I used it for my dd, u only need to apply it once a day, and do not apply spirit. The cord falls off within 4-5 days. U still need to use hot water to clean d navel area when bathing your baby

i was the only one using it initially then I bought for hubby and baby too, just a swipe on the soap and you have enough foam to bath 2 babies. very economical.
I am so getting it, apart from being economical, it will make bathing easier and fun, maybe I ll even get for my older kids

My one year and 2 months old (i.e. 14 months old) baby girl enrolled in creche today and i thibk she may have been fingered by the caretaker. As we returned from the creche, i bathed her and as i raised her leg to diaper her i noticed the vaginal opening appeared wider and red with a flappy skin below. I tried to touch her to know whether she feels pain around but nothing really. But my mind hasn't been at rest since. Should i tell her dad? Should i take her to hospital tomorrow. I am just confused. Please see pic and tell me if this is normal for her age or i am worried for nothing
OmG! Is the caretaker a male or female? I hope it's not true. I don't think they will want to risk trying that just the very day she registered. It looks big to me at the same time it could be the angle at which the picture is taken. It's taken too close to her vagina like a picture zoomed. You can take her to the hospital to ascertain your fears.

So Its feedback time @sugah, feddy27, enque,AlphaHandMaiden and all mamas that shook mouth into my matter.

I went to my pediatrics last week and she prescribed elocom cream for my daughter because of the ezcema at her back. She said i should rub it just once a day, use it for 10 days and a little amount because if its too many it may bring blood. So a pinch of it, rub till it fades away. To cut the long story shot, the eczema has disappeared and our back is back again!!! grin grin grin grin.

Thank you all
Thanks for the feed back, we learn new things everyday here.

I'm a 32H, I senior you small grin grin
I actually worry the wrong band size of bra all my life! I wore a 36D even while I was weighing less than 60kg. Then it increased to Double D but until I went to dunni's and she measured me to be a 32waist size. The difference is clear with my new bras, I can actually run in them without having to hold my boobs.
Most naija women wear wrong size of bra.
No. 1, me grin up till now I don't know my breast size, I know I look out for size 36, I don't understand the d or dd or c part.
After 3 kids, breast no still big sad

As for weight part I weighed 75kg pre pregnancy, and 83 post pregnancy, and I am still lepa, so I don't understand why @ jazzy jazz @sugah both of you are trying to lose weight. You won't know I just gave birth, my dd is almost 12weeks, I dey find fat sef

Lol, doh. When my LO cries like that it's usually gas, rubbing hands on head and face and kicking his feet. Once he farts like twice he falls asleep

Meanwhile he hasn't pooed in 2 days oh, no discomfort, he's eating and playing normally, enough wet diapers and farts just no poo...he's 9 weeks, is that normal?

Cc sabi mamas
My dd is also passing the same phase, her worse days are whenever I take tea, beans, carbonated drinks like Fanta and coke which I try to avoid but sometimes the flesh is weak.

Massage her tummy with hot water when bathing her, she will poo.

Cc
Alphahandmaiden Mizmycoli Beyedew Helovesme feddy27 liftedhands sugah Zaynie
This is a symptom of colic, my dd pulls at both sides, even sometimes scratches her face in the process especially when she is sleeping, they will eventually outgrow this stage. I am in the same dilemma with you.

Thanks for the reply@ liftedhands, I don't really know if the nospamin works, I only give her when she is really in discomfort just to fulfill all righteousness, but the hot water works, like this morning after whinnying all through the night, I pressed her tummy with hot water while bathing her, and she pooed very well on my body which brought relief to her.

Weldon sabi mamas, thanks for all the great tips, I have been following this thread for weeks now.
My challenge is my dd who is 10weeks now is having colic, I have heard so many remedies from gripe water, nospamin, in fact, to natural remedies like uda, ogiri etc, but I am not good in experimenting cos I am on ebf, I just use nospamin and I massage with hot water, just counting to 12 weeks for the colic to vamoose.
