Hellooo mamas oh, pls I need your input here. My baby will be 6m in 4 days, the problem is she is still reacting to my breast milk, because of her I don't eat certain foods.
I'm on ebf, I thought by now, she would have outgrown this colic symptoms, mamas I Don tire , I want to introduce solids and wean her off breastfeeding totally. How una see am?

My son @ 2months 18days has started teething, have bought teething powder mama biko wat else can I use as he runs temperature too buh d temperature is like nepa light.
Moreover is itching gum part of d package too?
He will cry uncontrollable as his gum itch and use any available cloth to rub his mouth

Please mama get rid of the teething powder, and follow other mama's suggestions

H/She will take you through a step by step process that will enhance the healing and forgiveness. All the best. Correct me if I am wrong....counselling or not, I think infidelity is very hard to forgive.
for relationships it's easier but in marriage, it's a totally different ball game.

I know deep down, if I want to let go, I can, but I chose not to. That's d reason I ask if counseling works. So to the poster it's going to be a tough journey.

The new one now is baby sits to play no problem, baby sits to play and watch TV no problem, mum stands up to pee or drink water while baby is watching His fave cartoon on TV and playing With his fave toys, biiiiiiiiiiig problem

There are so many schools in these areas u mentioned, personally I don't like the idea of children traveling long distance especially in nursery /primary. In Ajah there is debiruss and school master. In majek there is texcel and Winfield.

It's normal, the blood spotting is to remind you to take am easy that u re not fully healed.
Even if the bleeding stops and you stress yourself much, u will still have spotting. It will eventually stop.

This made me laugh, post reminded me of when i told my kids that I love my lo so much that I can even eat her poo, they shouted ewwww. Fast ward to a particular day that I carried my baby on my body while laying down, I noticed my clothes was wet, with baby's poo, I just shouted Jesus!
My kids laughed at me dat day eh,
Any small thing they will mock me See you that said you can eat baby's poo, baby pooed on your body and you screamed.

I don't think they will ever forget that incident.

I think it's quite poor at 3.9kg for that age for someone that weighed 3.2 at birth, is your breast milk coming out well? You can gauge it by expressing it in a bottle so as to know the quantity your baby is taking.

Sorry dear, I saw your question, I didn't even know you mentioned me sef, I don't really know what to answer cos I don't have any first hand experience, but I know the trick of persistent cough is to take malaria medicine and all the symptoms of cough and cattarh will disappear. I am team prevention is better than cure. Your Lo will be fine.

@XXO1, so sorry for your experience, thank God your son is fine now, it could have been worse, we give God all the glory.
@jazzyjazz, saw all the updates on your son , thank God he is fine now.
@ other stories, if only fortuneteller had delivered her concerns appropriately, it would have been a different story. so as my 9± year old daughter is assisting me at home, its called child slavery abi labour, or it's exceptional because I gave birth to her? as in this my daughter can do anything, so if she is not from my womb it's now slavery.

Her concerns should have been that if you cannot treat a maid well, you don't have any business getting one, cos we all hear stories of how some wicked madam treat their maids.
Meanwhile forget that abroad things, African parents have special utali / cane they use on their children so that they don't grow up being useless.

I got to where I usually buy meat the woman hadn't come. Then I went to another place. Apparently I went too early
So I went to buy other things
Came back I saw the woman setting up
As I was waiting with others there I started feeling dizzy. I tried to rest on a table no way.
So one woman noticed and gave me chair to sit on.
The thiing kept getting worse. She then rushed to buy sprite put salt and gave me to drink
It started raining. By then so many attention
Someone stop keke to take me home I said they shouldnt worry that I came in a car.
The keke kept waiting
I later gave the man #200 to go cos he waited for sometime and he was getting upset.
One woman was just praying and another making sure I tbe sdon't sleep.
Well I became ok after sometime.
It was raining and I sat under the rain cos I couldn't move till I regain consciousness.
I was able to drive home but I couldn't buy all I needed to buy.
I ate and breast feed my baby before leaving home so dont know what could have caused it.

1. When I am pregnant I usually have this pelvic joint pain and a very severe one through out the pregnancy though I still manage to go to work and still do some house work the body can accommodate. But my hubby feels I am pretending. So each time he comes home and things are not done he keeps yelling at me that I am lazy and compare me with other women around.
he is the type that does not lift a pin. After I delivered I was discharged 6dAys later and I went to my mom's and stayed there for another six days.
I had to leave my mums cos I couldn't bear to see her struggle to walk and do other thing cos of the state of her health. Now my mother in law didn't come until the grand daughter that is living with her had post jamb to write and her centre was close to my house so they came 5wks after I delivered and left. 2days later. Meanwhile when my brother inlaws wife put to birth my mil came immidiatly she heard the news and lived with me since my BIL house is not big enough to accommodate her. So I was the one going to the mkt and cooking all the food for both MIL and BIL wife. And when I dared to complain my hubby told me that I am just jealous cos she gave birth to a son and I lost my own son that why I am bursting with jealousy. And because of the stress I lost the pregnancy I was carrying. And I prayed my heart out and God blessed my with another son.
Since the day one after my CS I have been the one taking care of my daughter and newborn son. After I was discharged my younger sister went back to her husbands house cos she is newly married and pregnant. When hubby came to pick me from mumsies house she had to beg him to assist me as I am not strong enough to do chores cos of the kind of delivery I had. Indid he helped for 2days to boil water and sweep the parlour only. After the 3rd day making it day 15 after delivery I had to do everything for myself. Cook bath the kids, wash clothes keep late night to look after baby and even do school runs. And after doing all that the scare begins to pain me and when I complain he sees it as pretence. At one month he entered the house with his friends and the clothes I packed from sun was on The chair plus I have not swept for that day in the process of putting baby to sleep I dosed off. And what I heard him telling his friends is it is only in my house u can see things like dis. I felt bad and the next day I decided to mub and scrob the floor. When he walked in he said that this is how is house should look like all the time.
That day I suffered pains from the CS scare for a whole week but I still had to look after the kids. He shouts when the house is not tidy. I had to carry the baby on my back to clean and cook for the family. Though sometimes he carries the baby but when he starts crying I must carry him and do what I am doing.
For the past 4days my son has been crying fir nothing. I took him for a massage and things didn't change. Just dis evening when the boy started crying I was cooking when he ordered me to carry the boy.and started complaining of how I make him carry the boy, that his sister carried her children by herself. I call myself a mum and cannot find solutions to the baby's cry. That I am so lazy I cant take care of the house etc.
In all dis the scar is still paining me and my doc keeps saying it is stress that is making it pain me and my hubby keeps calling me lazy, All he does when he is around is sleep, watch tv and hang out with friends. I am really loose my mind. I don't know what to do.

Communication is the key, tell him how u feel, I believe both of u were once friends before getting married.

I don't like situation whereby men feel their wives are machines, if u re capable of doing all d chores, fine, but right now u need help, if he cannot help u with home chores, he should at least appreciate the little u can do for now.

My advice is this, if u don't have any relative that can help u with house chores for the time being, get your self a maid that will be coming like 2/3 days a week to help u, you can contract a house help for two months only while u heal properly.

Make life easy for your self, you only live once.

Interview is over. They said I'm not the type of person they are looking for but that they will pass on my cv to a school as they think I'll be better off as a teacher.

What a day!

A teaching job? Is that what u want? Who beg them to pass on your cv to a school, or it is a recruiting firm?

So I was invited for another interview today
Woke up, made breakfast for everyone, took care of my son, handed him over to the maid, had my bath and got dressed. As I was set to go I said let me have a look at my credentials before I leave the house in case there's something I need to add. Lo and behold, my credentials were no where to be found. As in all my originals plus some photocopies.
I scatter the whole room plus cabinets in the living room plus all the suitcases, still it's not there. Tears just start to pour

Interview is for 10am and I am already late. So I looked for the photocopies of the missing credentials, printed another copy of my cv (thank God for a printer at home).

Here I am in a cab at 9.46am praying I sha get there before 10am.

@ Jaygrl , those drugs u mentioned don't really work, skip meals like milk, vegetables, beans, soft drinks like coke, Fanta,etc, you will see your baby will be fine. Please don't give your baby any herbal drugs again.

Hmmmn, sincerely speaking, I am so tired and exhausted. I made the beans this afternoon, they tasted just three spoons as usual and refused taking it again. I don't know what else to do, I have tried almost every cereal I know, semi draw soup, Pap, bought august secrets foods yet they won't eat. All they want is breast milk, then they ear mashed yam / potatoes and butter well. They dont take formular alone except i mix with cereal even that only three spoons. I am exhausted !

Try gerber rice or oats, mix it with gerber apple juice, don't add any milk oh. I am sure they will love it. When my second child rejected every food from cereals to adult food, to the extent that he became weak and cried all the time cos d breast milk was no longer enough for him, Gerber foods restored his appetite

@ fruitful home, I don't want to believe it's because u breastfeed while lying down that is the cause. If it is so, my 3 kids would have had d same problem. In short I am suppose to receive an award for that, I don't get up when my baby cries, I ll just shift her close to me and put breast in her mouth, did same for my older kids, I never visited d hospital once sef for any complaint.

I believe d mama that said the bum rashes could be from d wipes and not d diaper, it happened to me, after I used huggies wipes, I noticed rashes on my baby bum and I stopped it immediately.

Since I mixed my barrier cream, vaseline and baby tribotan, my baby has not had even one rash on her bum.

To prepare rice cereal use the following layout:
1. Get a white rice or brown rice( I prefer brown rice)
2. Wash the quantity of rice you need to dry.
3. Put it section by section into dry frypan and dry until it does not stick into your spoon
4. Scoop it out into a dry plate and let it cool before you blend

5. Ready your blender and blend it till smooth,

6. Then put it into a dry container and keep.
7. To cook, just put 2 or as you desire into a little water on fire
8. Then pour out and mix with any of your desire either breast milk, formula
9. You may even mix apple puree.
