Leo001: my take is that! if you have rule this county once in ur life don't come back again! we can't be saying we are going forward, when indeed we are still looking back to GMB. APC should bring out Fresh vibrant and Purposeful leader, not those we learnt of while we were still kids.! But Jonathan has also ruled this country once in his life na, so why you wanting to vote him back? In fact Jonathan has ruled for longer than Buhari did, and has performed far worse, so what is your argument? |

Below are the results of the last election in 2011 by state. The purpose of this thread is to get the discussion started (and it is not too early) on what could happen in 2015, given the merger of ACN, CPC and ANPP into the APC, and given the performance of Jonathan for 5 years.
What do you guys think could potentially happen? What would you desire to happen?
Is there any way APC could win?
In what states are the dynamics now radically different from 2011?
How would Shekarau and Ribadu, both former candidates of ACN and ANPP joining the PDP affect your permutations?
The floor is open.
NB: This thread should be a reference point as elections come closer, so be sure to follow it.

Monimatic: Ignorance has really consumed the posters above me...........APC has gone so low by resorting to cheap black mailing and defamation of character by putting up pictures of Asari Dokubo , Pastor Oritsejafor and Comrade Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro, they now try to deceive the unenlightened ones that Comrade Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro is Mohmammed Yusuf. Several APC politicians have been sharing the above pictures all over the social media throughout the weekend, what are they trying to achieve with this cheap black mailing and publicity stunt? Is Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor giving APC, it's members and sympathizers sleepless night? Is Asari Dokubo a threat to APC existence as a political party? Then why all these character assassination, bitterness, propaganda and lies against these two men( Dokubo and Oritsejafor) in the past weeks by APC politicians and sympathizers mostly being spearheaded by by "Lie Mohammed" and "Hell Rufai" As 2015 election gets closer, APC politicians keep getting more confused, rather than strategizing on how to dislodge the PDP by enlightening the Nigerian voters on what their plan for Nigeria is all about, they are rather wasting their energy by keep resorting to lies and character assassination on social media and on the pages of newspapers and TV. The man standing left to Asari Dokubo is Comrade Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro. Do a google image search your self for Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro and Mohammed Yusuf and see for your self that the man standing left to Asari Dokubo is Comrade Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro. APC and it's sympathizers keep losing the confidence We Nigerians earlier had on them as a credible opposition to PDP, but it's getting clear everyday that with all the lies, fabrications and propaganda that keep emanating from APC politicians and followers.........APC is desperate for power and is not the kind of opposition we Nigerian yearn for. Ok, but was that Asari Dokubo, NDLF militant and gunrunner in the picture or not? |

The complex saga revolving CAN President Ayo Oritsejafor’s purported involvement in the South African arms deal scandal has taken a new twist with his connection to Niger-Delta militant warlord Asari-Dokubo under scrutiny.
On Wednesday, Lai Mohammed, the National Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC) alleged that Asari Dokubo was on board the plane belonging to Oritsejafor that illegally ferried US$9.3 million to South Africa for the purchase of weaponry.
“If these arms are meant to fight insurgency, as the government has claimed, what is Asari Dokubo’s business purchasing arms for the Nigerian military, if indeed they were for the military? Does it not occur to the Nigerian government that this man who once took arms against the state may not have jettisoned his sinister plan against the same state,” the statement read.
This was followed by an old picture reappearing on social media purporting to show Oritsejafor smiling with Asari Dokubo and Mohammed Yusuf, the late leader and instigator of Boko Haram. “Can anyone tell me what could ever be the relationship between a perceived man of God and two militants,” the picture was captioned.
Dokubo immediately and vehemently debunked the claim of his involvement. In several video messages posted to his Facebook page, Dokubo called for Lai Mohammed’s arrest, describing him as a disgrace to Islam and a ‘pathological and award-winning liar’.
“Presently, I am in Saudi Arabia performing my Hajj as the Amirul Hajj of Bayelsa State and this can be confirmed,” he emphatically stated in a telephone interview. “The evil they wish me will be visited on the home of Lai Mohamed forever,” he added.
Additionally, Comrade Rex Emojite Ekiugbo Anighoro, a close associate of Dokubo and spokesman of Niger Delta People Salvation Front (NDPSF) Worldwide, claimed on Facebook that he was actually the third party in the controversial picture, not Yusuf.
He however acknowledged the closeness of Dokubo and Oritseajfor, stating that they had been compatriots for over a decade. “May we also state that Alhaji Mujahid Abubakr Dokubo Asari who has been close to Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor for over a decade stands with Pastor Ayo and can boldly state that he cannot be involved in any way with shoddy deals nor anything that could tarnish the good image he has built over the years,” the Facebook post added.
Oritsejafor has been accused of ‘politicizing’ the Christian Association of Nigeria since the beginning of his tenure. Calls have come from several quarters for Oritsejafor to step down in the wake of the damning allegations, campaigners for such including former CAN President Cardinal Okogie and controversial cleric and presidential aspirant Chris Okotie. There are so so many sef. So your arguments are moot. ISpiksDaTroof: At that point your practically in shock, have given up hope and your body is basically in paralysis. If you were ever unfortunate to be in the same boat, you'll act the same way. It's not about bravery or cowardice. Nope. Shock does not explain the victim giving an interview or speech to the camera in a very calm manner. My guess is either they do cooperate for a chance, even a slim chance of being spared, or they do it to avoid torture or other worse form of slow terrible death - like being buried alive. |
