deeplow: That is the 3rd worst way to die(the 2nd being, having your manhood sliced and force-fed to you,and first being, having both hands and legs tied up to different cars, and the cars driven towards different directions). That being said, the kim dude is crazy, wickedand power-drunk.I hope somebody forces a full-stop on him the Abacha way.I think being buried alive ranks up there too ![]() |
Look at them now, running from pillar to post. Mstcheeew |
Common, seriously? Is this where we have descended to? Parking fire-trucks on runways? PDP needs to wake up and smell the coffee. |
Have any of you given bribe to police before? If you did, why and would you do the same in the future? |
Garri the 1st: The 20 year old guy is a coward. At 20 you still allow yourself to be floggedHaba Monseiur Garri, the guy was an orphan putting up with this cousin na. Just try and put urself in his shoes, he was probably completely dependent on him for many things and would be unlikely to fight back. |
icon aus: Instead he will be remembered as the man that brought the necessary change , inevitability and an end to the fraud called Nigeria. He should be given the opportunity to correct the lopsidedness in the Nigeria which some regions are not comfortable with since it flavors them .I don't quite understand all you've said, but what special magic trick can he conjure in the next four years, if he wins, that he could not do since he took over from Yar'adua about 6 years ago? We have already seen all he has to offer. One thing I know is if Jonathan does the job he was elected to do, all this talk about re-contesting or not will be moot. He will be cheered on and all true Nigerians would carry him, on their backs if they have to, as he campaigns for a return. But he has sadly proven incompetent. That is still fine as all hope is not lost for him. All he has to do is step down 2015 and he becomes a hero again. Even more worrisome is the utter cloddishness of his vice - Sambo. Imagine if GEJ died today (God forbid!), Sambo would be Mr President! . There are even stories he plans to switch him with Yerima to divide the core north!!! We were beguiled by "no-shoes" and "fresh air", what would he use now? |
prem love: and he will be a coward if he step down. Is only a fool that runs away from problem with out finding solution to it. If the north want's to crumble because GEJ seek re election their should simply GO AND DIEIn the immortal words of Demosthenes, "He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day". It may seem cowardly to surrender to common sense, but at what cost would such bravado be? The North should go and die? You obviously do not want the best for Nigeria as a country. |
zegbeye: Mr President I believe in ur good sense of judgement whether u contest or not. If u do I will campaign online for you and use every contact I know here in Australia and Nigeria to do same for u online because I ve been following Nigeria politics and development since Buhari time up until today and I know u are a gift with a lift to this country. But if u decide not to contest...pls bring a Dangote and pair him with Goswill Akpabio of AkwaIbom state.I'm sure you were joking about a dangote being president. |
Moral of the story is: Be careful what you do today cos it can create a messed up country tomorrow. |
Freewilly: Are you trying to get me banned ?Was gonna say something, but your cute profile pic made me change my mind. |
Mindependent: I kept it in the freezer, he was sexy, so if I ever want a sexy baby I can use it and hook him tooExcuse me? If you ever want a sexy baby? Dnt know if tis just me but dat sounds so wrong. |
Pic or it didn't happen. ![]() |
Lesson to learn here is: Do not eat somebody's Christmas rice without permission. Seriously, you could die. |
Freewilly: Very sad, why didn't they relocate the poor animal to an animal sanctuary to promote tourism. But those tiger clawed face oily soup eaters killed the poor crocodile to use in their soup.freewilly, oily soup eaters Common rilly? ![]() |
Why are they shooting the croc? Africans have no respect for animals and environment.
Excuse me sir, but this "croc", was roaming about a residential area where kids play. If you had a gun and you did not shoot it, I would call you quite irresponsible. The alternative, of course, being to release it back to the bush it came out from? or as Freewilly says, a wild life sanctuary! LMFAO. Believe me, that "sanctuary" in Nigeria, would be a worse fate for such a magnificent creature. Live free or die hard! |
If Jonathan decides to contest, Nigeria may not survive 2015. Why? If he wins, the APC alliance will heat the polity to boiling point in the North/West block; and if he looses, the SS/SE block will cry blue murder. Whatever happens, Nigeria looses. His most patriotic decision will be to step down in 2015, present a credible candidate for PDP and determine to ensure a free and fair election. If he does this, then his retardeeness may be forgiven and he will become an elder statesman too. Anything else, and he will be known forever as the man that destroyed Nigeria! |
Egba girl: Yes and if you have been there, you'll notice some places are just as bad as the slums we have in Nigeria....And you don't think their climate has anything to do with why the whites never left? Or you suggest that if we had a temperate climate, the British would have simply handed us independence without a fight? |
I read this thread from start to finish and was almost moved to tears. Most of these things people say we produce and are proud of were being produced in 18th century Britain when they had no electricity, using steam and coal power alone. These technologies have been around for centuries. Those guys also had to invent the engines they used and the production processes too. But here we are, with a whole world of vast technology to tap from, crying NEPA NEPA. In the late 18th century and early 19th century steam and coal generators were used in the industrial revolution. I know for a fact that water generator technology is still around, if power is d concern. We have to wake up very fast. Can u imagine that in the 21st century, Nigeria has no railway lines and steel industry whatsoever. This thread was a real eye opener and I shall cry to sleep today. |
Egba girl: Some African countries have winter (southern Africa) and some Asia countries too. :/And dats why South Africa is as developed as it is. If you've been there, you'll notice some places there are even finer than UK, same as most other southern African countries. |
Omo, thank God for Naija oo. Cos for North Korea, dem fit kill you becos of ur 4 o'clock eye. Dem go talk say u dey eye dia oga sumhow. |
I can swear that I have always argued that our climate is a serious limiting factor to our development. I posed a question to someone once, name one country that experiences a proper winter that is not developed to a large extent. The person was silent. I think the heat messes with our brains, and does not favour FDI cos foreigners cant stand it. I proposed then that air conditioning systems in Africa (everywhere possible - schools, offices, buses even bus-stops eventually) was not a luxury but a necessity to development, and I still stand by it. Think about it, anywhere there is AC, don't you notice people behave calmer? Food for thought. |
What you call "forming", is called being a lady. Just like a guy opening a door for a lady is called being a gentleman, and not forming. |
oga frigid, na you and your friends dey bully me for here, why una dey mention my name, that is cyber bullying. you dey find wife, go look nah, how e concern me, and why you just dey take bait anyhow, focus on the person wey dey toast you, (ie whats her name), abi i toast you ni? and if politics section no reach you, foreign affairs nko?
I'm new here but it seems you have many chykers on nairaland. |
If you are short guy, marry tall gal nd vice versa... so they say. Pour moi, all is vanity... marry who makes you happy. |
Tis lack of exposure that causes it. The ladies don't know that being called ma'am is a sign of respect, just like a man being called sir. They feel it makes them look old? They are just insecure. Personally, it is ladies who I am familiar with to an extent but still call madam that have taken offence, maybe cos they feel it is too impersonal and they would like me to acknowledge our closeness by me calling their name. Funny thing is in reality tho', guys use the word jokingly and as a term of endearment but they take it so seriously. |
wecan: He made a very good point. Bring your Boko Haram boys to Abuja today and you will see that GEJ will give them all their heart desire. You should stop sucking blood, you vampires.I agree, 100% |
macof: Babies have consciousness and do look forward to the futureOga sir, you are wrong. How baby dey look into the future? What are your earliest memories? Do u remember when you were in your mother's womb? As a baby, were you thinking about what job you would do, or the university you would go?? Abeg, this OP is just trying to make case for abortion jaare. It is wrong. PS: Insects and animals have no soul, and therefore, no higher consciousness. Killing insect (eg mosquito) is very much allowed... |
SLIDE waxie: Sir, u are dumber than i thought!Listen, we know that amnesty is only necessary when someone has done something wrong. However, it takes a strong moral compass to know when a pardon is acceptable. It is reprehensible to think that a group that has taken delight in killing and maiming little children and women and innocent men is worthy of pardon. What now makes it worse is that they are unrepentant, saying that it is FG (that is, the people they are killing, that is, the rest of nigerians) that need amnesty. How can you guys now come and defend them It beats my understanding!!! |
sandijey: Omo I learnt the hard way! I had this nl crush too. I just joined nl october after coming out of a terrible relationship. Nl was what kept me sane. There is this guy that his comments were so interesting! So intelligent but people would think he is crazy. Just liked him but. Defintiely not ready for anything. So I was always d one communicating wiv him! I was a bit too forward I guess? and am sure that just put him off. If I was him, I'd do d same! Just needed a new friend! We stopped talking! Sad and embarrasing! |
