Well, you could say I make no sense....your choice of words. For your info, I worked full time (shift based) while running a full-time programme in UI (engineering sef). We could keep on complaining about the job restrictions but it won't be changing anytime soon. What would you say about Access Bank training school where they ask you to have comoleteed your NYSC and still be not more than 23? The truth is so many people qualify for these jobs and its a way for companies to screen out a lot of applicants. No one is saying its fair but then it works for these companies and its not their fault either.

Hi bro, I understood what you are saying but try to understand others perspective too. This role is not an entry level as such, putting age restriction of 27years maximum is uncalled for which you and I know it's not always achievable.

You don't need to be told that, this is a professional role. Experience, 3-5years' in same position applying for, that is, if you are applying for an accounting position, you MUST have worked as an accounting officer, auditor for at least 3years to be considered. Also, having ICAN, ACA, CFA etc is an added advantage. So, they now tagged age barrier 27years maximum. Are they kidding me? Let me be frank here, I graduated 2010 at 26, my school only mobilize NYSC for batch B & C. Then we waited till July, 2011 for batch B. Finished NYSC July, 2012. Struggled to get professional job 2014. I am sure you know what my age is now?.

Even if they want to put age restriction, it should have been at most 35years. So, even if you falsify your age and claim to have 3years' professional experience, they will surely fish you out because, they will conduct their own underground investigation.

They should have tagged the experience to be 0-1year then call it entry level opening. But for these present roles, it is a pure professional/experienced role.

My story is same as yours, now that you've finally woken up from slumber you now realize there is age discrimination, firm looking for under 24,25,26. I now preach the gospel to people not to ever make such mistake. keep pushing, but might just be difficult if already within age 29 and have no one to fix you up aka connection.

Well, that's true sha..the labour market is highly competitive now. In fact, if you are a graduate with 2.1 or 1.1 and you have passed atmost 26 years of age, it will be VERY difficult to get a good job, unless you have good working experience would like to apply for experienced opening. Some are even outsourced jobs(contract) where your salary is slashed into two, just like the one I am doing now. I'm three years now. Graduating with 2.2/lower is another case entirely.

@adeadex2006, so if you are more than 26years not even concerned about your grade now, don't just bother looking for entry level job again, just keep searching for experienced positions maybe educational sector since you already have teaching experience. Even outsourced (contract) have their own requirements despite the fact your salary is slashed into two.

i applied last week Nd went for the 2nd batch interview on Saturday..... But some of us were unable to do d test cos of original SSCE certificate.
But luckily dey sent me another mail for d interview on friday.

NOTE: study Gmat nd current affairs PLUS if u have a printean out or photocopy of ur ssce result Nd not original waec or neco certificate quickly get it b4 then, or don't bother wasting ur t fare. They mean every single thing required on the mail, read carefully Nd get it right.

Sister na wao! if its contract position, is it not better than staying at home doing nothing? Besides, U-connect is a reputable outsourcing firm and their pay is a bit okay. What you should be concerned about are:

i. I my qualified for any of the openings?
ii. How to pass their interviews and with the client(s) I will be seconded to if shortlisted? Because, you may pass their own and not passing their clients'. talking from experience though.

Lol....Bro, Okopoly was a STRONG cultist school then from 2004 downward. It was also rated as number one school with highest number of cultist. Infact other cultist from different school travels down for okopoly main campus to have their meeting but no be now again o. It got to a stage where if you are 3 gathered maybe discussing about lectures those anti cult guyz will raid them and deal with them mercilessly with the intension that they are cultist strategizing on how to operate.
Even the colour of clothes, can, stockings, banggles etc you wear can put you into trouble in okopoly. Unless okopoly affiliates e.g Ufuma campus, Atani campus etc.

No wonder....The guy had the guts to behave that way. Student irrespective of who you are, you cant use that word(I will deal with you at the lodge) talk more of in main campus and go free.

Anyway, I am not sure if there is anti cult in Atani campus, all the same, from Oko to Atani is not more than 1hr 30minutes, if you have a friend in main campus who can help with anti cult phone number, am sure they can come arraign the guy. Those guys(anti cult) hmmm....dia eyes dey red always, they hate that word(threat), how i wish is main campus, na the guy go vacate the school himself.

If you cant get anti cult number, you may just apologize to the guy as the adviser said afterall, I am sure you have less than 2 to 3months to become a graduate.

Both are on contract.

The same location.

I would have advised you opt for insurance since both are contract but selling policy in Nigeria is not that easy.

Also, as a loan officer, you MUST ensure that clients payback whatever you disbursed to them and you might even pay with your salary. So, both have pros and cons.

Please is the 60k insurance job basic salary or commission? if it's basic, kindly go for insurance otherwise opt for MFB.
