Mamaiyanu: send an email to your doc and ask if you can still pay the old price. Dr F told me that you can still pay the old price as long as your due date is before June 30. Good morning madam, please what if the person is new and hasn't contacted the hosp/ Dr and her due date is before June 30. Will the person still be qualified for the old price? Thank you. |

ozycy: Why not give it some time since you ain't having the baby soon. I don't think these VO are still giving pregnant women ooo, atleast not like before. Maybe giving birth in US is no longer enough reason to go to US. I think the era where people hide their pregnancy and go for interview will soon return Ppl are still getting it, just that the success rate isn't so high these days. Im not sure it is for the qualified anymore. May ppl on this forum looking at reapplying be favoured in Shaa Allah. |

I intend to use Mount Sinai hospital Chicago, I have been calling the hospital severally but nobody seems to know the price of self pay delivery. I called Access too, they said each doctors appointment is $150 but they don't know how much the doctor will charge for vag delivery or c-section or the hospital charges. I need a reliable contact who can give me the accurate price quotes. God bless you all! Send me a pm. Will give u her email address. VD is 5900 and Cs is 7900 for the package but this was in February I do not know if the cost has been reviewed upward. |

AdomMum: Ummm...not exactly except if it depends on the airline. I have just purchased Turkish Airline ticket and i was issued infant ticket when going and Child ticket on return and it was a lot cheaper than buying child ticket to and fro. Ok noted. I only shared my own experience. Guess it depends on the airline. |

Dy2005: Hello every1..... pls I need more info on dropbox renewal ,please is it true that when u renew before your visa expire you will be called for interview .visa renewal that my sister had a chat with told her that dropbox is strictly for expired visa, that if you want to renew via drop box before expiration u will be called for interview, hubby n i visa will expire june 2nd wk and traveling july ending or aug for vac ,,,,
Please need more clarification biko, also if you have renewed 3-2mnths before expiration and no interview ? I'm not sure this is entirely true. My husband and I submitted our passports 1month to expiration via Dropbox and we were not called for interview. His was ready after 7 working days and mine was ready for collection after 12working days. Since it's just for vacation, can u wait till May before renewal? |

adycatus: Say for how long pls? Cos the earliest available date is july. I am not pregnant now, but am trying for baby no 3. So i think its wise i just do B2 visa this time around while hubby and child no 1 apply for B1/B2 I think u should wait for about 4months to reapply. If u apply asap there's a tendency to get a negative response since there's no dire reason for u to travel. I wish you all the best in your future application. Can u please share your transcript? |

Nadnad: Oh ok. Thank you I submitted via drop box last week Wednesday and I applied for B2.
I tracked the application online today and is showing me issued that I will get my passport within 10 working days.
I don’t know if I should be happy or if I will have to attend interview.
It is well Please be happy and wait for your email to pick up .. let's say tomorrow evening. Congratulations. |

MiracleMum: Extremely legit I really think the problem is from your account statement in my opinion. Did you show your payslips at any point during Ur interview? Cos the closing balance is quite high if it's a salary account and your husband's salary is just above 400k. Reapply with your daughter. Wish you all d best |

Also go with Ur baby's BC and try to get itemised bill from the hospital. I have seen that zero balance isn't enough these days . |

kalelbinl: Family/ group visa (B1/B2) was issued via dropbox. We notified both embassies (Abuja & Lagos) before she travelled in Oct 2017. Via Dropbox? Have u been to the US before for this to have been issued via Dropbox? If yes, then when did u renew the visa ? Was she pregnant at the time u both submitted for renewal? How long did u say u wouldd b away for in the form you both filled? How long did she eventually state she would be there for at the port of entry because 5months is quite a long time. |

Sallybest: Hello all i am Thank you in advance Reapply in Qatar without your mum .. I honestly think you shouldn't have come to Nigeria in the first plc.. Use your husband's dorm account since it's in USD(take his pay slip as well). Your job should also stand as a strong tie in Qatar cos that's where you live and not Nigeria + that's where your husband is as well and you won't be going with him to Yankee.. So your husband and Ur job is enough ties .. I think |

decimator: How will DW performance at POE affect my future travelling?
Thanks I doubt it will affect your chances. There are cases here on the thread that they renewed the husband's visa and didn't renew the wife's and they got the previous visas together... No one will ever really know unless you try but Just make sure you go with hospital receipts... My brother's friend was returned to Nigeria cos he couldn't provide receipts (although I think there was more to the story) and some ppl would have scaled through. |

Waarreng: Please did you pay the Doctors and hospital fee before applying for visa and what do u mean by budget sheet. Thanks. No sir/ma u do not have to pay the Dr or hospital before you apply... Sometimes the VOs see it as a sign of desperation and payment does not guarantee visa . Go to the search bar for budget sheet. |

Cos I think the reason for denial in this case is strong ties back home.... |

viara: My husband lives here in nigeria and I have a good paying job. In my own opinion I think the VO was wondering y u r the sponsor and your husband isn't supporting t all . Then he asked if anyone would travel with u and u also said your mum. Leaving your husband out entirely and you told him that you are married . Not sure the VO was convinced about your return back to Nigeria.. |

MSOEO: Good evening.
I need advise urgently please and would appreciate your response.
I want to have my baby in Brooklyn. I wanted to use Kings County but they have now said just for in patient bill i may pay up to $25,000 for a vaginal delivery!. This is minus doctors appointments, lab work, even sonogram they said its $2,000.
Can anyone please advise on any reasonably priced hospitals to give birth in Brooklyn.
Thank you so much. Hello Hospitals r expensive in newyork but contact @ewa2014 she put a name up in 2015. Don't know the cost , it's Mercy medical center. It's in Rockville center.(long island axis of newyork). Or Ask @mamaron she once talked about mount Sinai hospital. She said they have several branches depending on your exact location in NYC. |
