4peace: Does that mean other OS do not have this huh
take apps for example. compare the quantity and quality of apps (productivity, academics and otherwise) in Play Store to those in Nokia Store. Play store is aeons ahead.

delvinmaya: If you doubt me, call MTN Customer Care, and this is the number incase you don't know it. 180n dial that and talk to them.
some months ago, customer care reps will always tell you the BBC package is 200MB. they even tell you that when you subscribe. but was it really 200MB? nope, it was unlimited. still is for me(can only speak for myself)

Like seriously! Are you ok @ all? U downloading what shit? Am giving you facts, you are telling me I want to sell one sim. Dude, you have not even downloaded what I ve downloaded, so don't come here with your dumbass self to try and ridicule me.
facts? really?
the only fact here is, it's still unlimited.
the screenshot below data downloaded with utorrent.
NOTE: the data count resets every time you start up your pc. the data displayed is for one session.

from what i see, not everyone was moved to the "new" limited plan. some of us still have that privilege of unlimited access. cheesy

pakoto: Even if mtn reduces BBC to 200naira I won't be caught using them for my BIS, MTN works fast only towards the end of the subscription , as soon as u pay give it 3days and it goes comatose till 3days to the end of the subscription
common myths
PhonesRe: MTN BBC Monthly BIS Now ₦1000! by ciphoenix: 3:29pm On Apr 23, 2013
TechyGuy: Some of you will never agree even if MTN CEO tell you. I have downloaded a full season 1 of a popular series (1.5Gb) and stream live matches several times, download applications for my PC etc etc etc etc. And you are here arguing.

OK. Your own is 350MB, mine is not. Are you ok now?
maybe he's just looking for "unlimited sim" customers cheesy grin

Now Downloading: The Boondocks Season 3 1.3GB wink
PhonesRe: MTN BBC Monthly BIS Now ₦1000! by ciphoenix: 3:07pm On Apr 23, 2013
delvinmaya: Pls don't mind those screaming its unlimited. Its a big farce. Subscribed BBC two weeks ago, and now I can only ping or browse when I have call credit on my line. Called the mofos at MTN and they told me I have exhausted my MB. They told me its now 350MB for BBCMONTHLY. So I called them just now, and its still 350mb for 1k, and 1gb for 1500k(dats d BISMONTHLY). The only way you can get unlimited is buy the unlimited sim
it's not a farce. some are unlimited, others are not. mine is though smiley

else i wouldn't download 2.3GB in a day.

also tether connect my pc to it via WIFI

this is what i think: if yours is still unlimited, don't let it expire before you renew. let it renew itself and it'll remain so, unlimited. else it might reset.

Leopantro: Oh yeah, forgot to add that the files for the series alone range in size of 95 to 350mb. They come in flv format and are very clear. Few are in mp4.

Lord_Reed: Not quite true, for instance a laptop can share it's internet connectivity via ad hoc wireless. The problem sometimes may be the channel the ad hoc is on. Mobile devices are limited in the number of channels they can receive on.
true, only way to connect to em on droids is via custom kernels

YoungGame: Good day nairalanders, please i've got an urgent question to ask regarding android phones and their wifi hotspot!

First and foremost, i have been using Nokia phones for a very long time and i think its time to join the moving train #android os! Due to android's durability, elegant and suphisticated apps i have decided to get my self an android phone (samsung galaxy s2 precisely).
Now to cut the long story short, my question is: what kind of wifi hotspot does android phones have. To the little i know, there are two types of wlan. Namely: ad-hoc and infrastruction. When i was using Nokia E73, i had an app called joikuspot which lets you share your symbian s60 internet connection with some certain ad-hoc devices like laptops and phones which supports ad-hoc. As some of you may know, some devices doesn't have ad-hoc capabilities and this made them unable to detect my joiku hotspot.

Now my question is: what kind of hotspot android phones have? Is it infrastructure or ad-hoc?? Because i want to get an android phone and would like to share my internet connection with my pc and bb.

Please fellow nairalanders i need urgent response.

Thanks in advance.

#YoungGame.
it's infrastructure. if it was ad hoc, other droids won't be able to connect, me think

elvis10ten: OK o. I think history is repeating its self. Correct me if am wrong, when java came out with wora(write once run everywhere) am sure most developers dumped c++ for java. What is the result now, they are one of the two most popular languages in the planet. Just like i said correct me if am wrong. And according to the OP she wants to invest in a company that uses web based apps. If that company is in Nigeria, i doubt progress because of our internet state.
+1 smiley

permit me to say this:
C++ will never die cheesy

pawn89: ders a margin between the note 2 hardware and the s4s' hardware, no matter how you upgrade and waht you upgrade nothing can put the smart scroll on the note 2 just to highlight a single difference between em from many.

Dude know this, you don't really get an hardware upgrade, atleast not logically

These people should stop extorting money from us na! WTH is there problem?
I wish they have been rumors about this note3 so i can have a peak of what it would be packed with.
And only if samsung can just adopt a more classic casings for there flag phones embarassed
i don't care too much about beauty. functionality is my craving
