slyfoxxjoe: I really hate it when people quote the entire post, especially with articles as long as this. After painstakingly scrolling through the post itself on my old skool phone, I have to do so again 4-5 times just to read d comments! To the topic sha, why would this surprise u when most carebbeans where taken directly fom west Africa? Even the pidgin english spoken on many caribbean islands is similar to ours in Nigeria.

Leopantro: seriously, i don't know how i unfollowed this thread. i have been searching for you guys for a long time.

for the guy that wanted a CHM reader, use the following
1. ireader
2. chmreader
3. moonreader

there are two types of ireade. i recommend you get both. the best is moonreader, the new version is the best. it opens large files easily

for those i gave the instructions for free browsing on android, you would notice that you can't share the internet. i suggest you install open garden. it bypasses your portable hotspot and creates a hotspot that shares the free browsing access.

for those that have limited internal memory but have a large micro sd, it is possible to switch your internal memory and ext sd by editing your vold.fstd file in your tablet system folder. HOWEVER, it does not work on Allwinner tablets and if you mess it up you would have to flash your tablet
thanks a lot sire. I really appreciate this info
Science/TechnologySuper-earth Practically Next Door Could Be Habitable by ciphoenix(op): 9:40pm On Nov 08, 2012
http://m.cnet.com/news/super-earth-practically-next-door-could-be-habitable/57546917:
It's only 42 light years away, it could have liquid water, and it's more than seven times bigger than our planet (in mass). So once we destroy this one, we're all set.
This latest super-Earth is called HD 40307g. It may sound like a tax form, but it's almost guaranteed to be paradise. It's right in a sweet spot orbit around HD 40307 , a smaller star than the sun in the constellation of Pictor, where liquid water is possible. And the IRS can't reach you.
Three exoplanets were already known to orbit the star from observations up to 2008 but they are likely too close for liquid water. A new study of the data by researchers at the University of Hertfordshire in Britain revealed an additional three planets, with the farthest about as far from the star as Venus is to our sun.

"The longer orbit of the new planet means that its climate and atmosphere may be just right to support life," study co-author Hugh Jones said in a statement .

"Just as Goldilocks liked her porridge to be neither too hot nor too cold but just right, this planet or indeed any moons that it has lie in an orbit comparable to Earth, increasing the probability of it being habitable."

The data come from the High Accuracy Radial velocity Planet Searcher ( HARPS ), which is run by the European Southern Observatory and has discovered dozens of other exoplanets. Further studies are needed to confirm the planet's status, and telescopes of the future may be able to image it directly.
And of course we'll need warp drive to get there.
PhonesApple Drops Out Of Top 5 In China As Galaxy S3 Tops Iphone 4S In Q3 by ciphoenix(op): 7:45pm On Nov 08, 2012
http://m.gsmarena.com/apple_drops_out_of_top_5_in_china_galaxy_s_iii_tops_iphone_4s_in_q3-news-5058.php:
The iPhone is the most common smartphone almost everywhere in the world... almost. According to analysts at Canalys , in the third quarter this year Apple dropped out of the Top 5 smartphone makers in the Chinese market.
And it's an important market - according to Canalys again, China became a bigger market than the US earlier this year.
Samsung maintains a tentative lead in China holding 14% of the market, with local maker Lenovo breathing down its neck with 13%.
To rub salt in the wound, Samsung's Galaxy S III took the title of "World's best-selling smartphone in Q3 2012," according to Strategy Analytics . There were 18 million Galaxy S III units sold and "only" 16.2 million iPhone 4S phones. Of course, iPhone 4S sales were down in Q3 because everyone was waiting for the iPhone 5 to launch.
Anyway, back to China. The third place there is surprising - it's held by Yulong, who are not known outside of China, but managed to score partnerships with the country's to major carriers - China Telecom and China Mobile.
Two better known brands round up the Top 5 - ZTE and Huawei. The last three companies have around 10% market share each. Apple is currently sixth with 8% (it had 9% in Q2).
In Q3 this year, there were around 50 million smartphones shipped in China, which is over a third of all smartphones shipped in the whole world for the three month period.
The growth in China comes primarily from cheap models ($70-$120) and the iPhone 4S can't compete with its price of $713 (the iPhone 5 is yet to launch in China, probably in December).
