There is no case of mistaken identity here my friend, Al jazeerah has often times projected a false & incorrect assesment of the NA and the war on terror. Most times they ignore the positives while stressing the negatives unecceassarily thereby undermining the activities of the army, poisoning peoples mind against them & demoralising the fighting men, acts that obviously are a threat to national security & breaches existing intelligence protocol as covering fighting areas without millitary permission clearly do.
The al jazeerah journalists got permission to cover the elections in Borno state, what led them into nocturnal coverage of fighting area without permission from the authorities even after the army had led journalists on a tour of the war zone.
I only advice the army to put them on proper trial without prolonged detention and this they appear to be doing in handing them over to DSS.

You do not cover an area under heavy millitary operations without a valid clearance, that it is Nigeria does not mean they should get away with it.

@cirmuell...You are right and I understand your fear. But am sure APC will churn out the best brains. Despite their being politicians nobody can doubt the competency of their guys. Kayode Fayemi has a PhD in War Strategy and he availed himself well as governor. Fashola is definitely a great guy too and no one can put a question mark on him. Even Saraki is a pretty good material. I was at the African Agriculture Week in Accra in 2013 where Saraki delivered a brilliant lecture and some of my friends from Uganda thought he was Nigeria's Agriculture Minister. Amaechi himself is not a bad material beyond the politics. I visited the Songhai Rivers Farm initiative in Bunu Tai and I couldn't believe what I saw there. If it was to be in some other countries it will have been globally celebrated and that is one of Amaechi's brilliant ideas that I know of especially in my professional area of agriculture. I can go on and on. My take is that beyond being politicians, these guys are excellent professionals and will avail themselves well if they get into government.
