In all honesty, I can't explain it. It's a people's right to know about their history and hold on to some things but grudges over what we called a 'WAR' fought years back? It was atrocious the war was fought in the first place and there were casualties both sides. We can't move forward appropriately if we fix our gaze backward. Having said that, everything that needs being done to heal is acceptable.

Enough of all these unlicensed lies they dish to us citing 'top official', an 'anonymous source' etc. Every institution has spokesperson (s) as the case may be. Those are the ones we want to listen to, not all these eavesdroppers and unconfirmed sources.

Immediately the centre of the ruling party collapsed due to greed, winner gets all mentality and cronysm, this country started a nosedive. The fact is the president has dissipated his goodwill and is presently like someone groping in the dark. May God save us from this long thing we've placed ourselves.

We all need to uphold this country in prayer. Let God's will be done. I honestly feel for the man. His failure affects all, so also his success. I pray for a better Nigeria.

As long as Nigerians continue cracking jokes like "if solider slap you.... ", these soldiers will continue to think they are feared and reverenced as Demi gods, they will continue to feel that they can do anything and get away with it.

Reminds me of an incident. A 'bishop', obviously not that popular to organizers of a gathering, Christian one at that came to an event with his towering cap and went straight for the front seat. When programme started and dignitaries were called to occupy their front seats, the man's name was not listed and he was excused to relocate to the back. Laugh tear Belle for there as he was at the back with his high cap among members of the audience. His dilema? He couldn't remove that cap and had no hiding place. Moral? Jejelly follow orders so as not to be humiliated. I'm sorry the op had to pass through such a harrowing experience as depicted.
