ohiku4every1:Lotta sense in this. |
The pasting game has started. We've seen hers. What may likely happen is sidechick pasting madam's pix all over town with derogatory contents. This to me is extreme. Face your man and settle issues. This doesn't bother some people when they decide to be all out for what you call 'my own'. |
Wiseandtrue:Honestly, you took it right out of my mouth. So called 'CinC' are nothing but cowards. Shioor |
RaptorX:Very right. You can imagine where civilians dignify barbarity with sayings like 'if soldier slap you, you go know say police be your friend'. Such 'iranus' embolden and encourage this kind of heartless and unwarranted attacks on civilians by men in uniform. We need to stop glamourising their Bleep-ups. |
In sane climes, when military men appear in civil space, they are applauded and celebrated. This they earn and not forcefully demand. Their presence calms nerves and give assurance to those troubled. They have good relations with the civil populace that pay them and reciprocate by having regards for civilians but here in Nigeria, the reason some of them joined the military is to wear uniform and intimidate civilians. When you see them around you, the first thing that comes to your mind is question about your safety as they can be irritable, bossy and uncivilized even in manner of relations. They are just necessary evil otherwise, one might have called for outright scrapping. It is however hoped that reforms can be instituted to clean the mess. They have to be taught the essence of good military-civilian relations as this would go a long way in keeping them safe in their operations. This flagrant and abuse of power by our uniform men MUST STOP. |
Thirteen years too long joor. |
What's the essence of this if the identity of the crazy loafer is kept hidden? To inform us you are admired, to entertain us or for us to know that a married woman can be approached for sex? Let us get his identity so he can be humiliated, disgraced and taught a lesson he wouldn't forget in a hurry. Hiaaan! |
If there is anything called fairness here, let there be similar prohibition on non-christians from polluting Christian threads. No one should shield his own belief while he is allowed to spam and troll other people's discuss with irrational provocations. Seun should seriously look into this. |
lonelydora:Very correct. God bless your knowledge. |
paulooo3:That's just the saddest part of it! It makes one sick to the belly. |
There are many factors involved in these crashes and unwarranted deaths -bad roads, poor car maintainance, lack of enforcement of safety standards, overspending, greed among others. A driver left Lagos in the night for Abuja, drove all night and said he would be returning to Lagos at noon. I asked about having rest and the reply was that he would have rested enough between the trips! Rest of few hours. So, who do we blame when he sleeps off while at the wheels? Apart from educating them about need for adequate rest in-between trips, there has to be a mechanism of ensuring compliance and defaulters including companies prosecuted heavily for putting innocent lives at risk. These deaths are becoming too many! |
Hope she wouldn't complain when she finds it difficult to walk at some time in the nearest future as a result of major nerve injury. Best of luck to em. |
Jabioro:And they have been ridiculous from first page posting nonsense. The joke now ended on them. Shiooor! |
Nonsense! The news source just came on Facebook and started posting judgements without giving details. What looks 'rich' about that setting? Besides, hasn't he been reading news of similar thing between married couples, singles etc, rich or not? The guy get hin own wahala wey hin never talk. That sanctimonious attitude just distracted from whatever good intentions he may have had coming with the pix. |
ipobarecriminals:That's just the painful truth. It's an old trick those in her line of work are used to but unfortunately she died, and probably more painful would be the fact that she may not get justice. I think it's high time they got bodyguards when going on outside postings for work. |
LoveMachine:You mind the buffoon. He is talking of united North and with the other side of his mouth talking of Nigeria's interest. Nigeria is Nigeria when it serves the interest of a united North ko? I am not surprised. He is a foreigner (Alhaji) even in a land of his birth. He is pained by the successes attributed to the charisma of the acting VP. He just like many of his cohorts will have to show us the section of the Constitution that says it is the 'turn of the North to rule till 2023'. You claim the country is on 'autopilot' and still requires the VP to press 'some buttons'! Which kain reasoning be that? |
TrueHeart365:Who has time for conditions? I don't waste time on such. |
martineverest:Kindly read through and get the full gist. He didn't start the trouble. |
doublewisdom:Exactly! And to imagine people still blame that 66yr old man who ordinarily should be revered and taken very good care of by Taiwo and others for his death. |
Vickiweezy:You dey mind the ignoramus? How come picking him up was that easy? Yeye man think say he has a return ticket and saw his arrest and speech as a marketing strategy. |
Shamelessly shameless statement. |
Even as we all type here, there are ritualists or potential ones here. I pray that every ritualists in Nigeria, old or young, active or potential, may you never live to old age. May your life be cut off even before it blossoms. May you know sorrow deeper than that you cause others. It shall not be well with anyone that cuts another down in pursuit of fake, ephemeral, elusive wealth. Any young man or woman who purposes in his or her mind to go into evil this year, kidnap people for money, Rob others who go through hell to make little money while you lazy about, may thunder without boundary strike and cut you down. Damn! How can humans be this wicked? She went for fun and so? That is a licence to kill her, deprive her sibs and parents of her companionship and presence? This is highly inexcusable. I am pained beyond description. A fellow human?!!! |
No work |
Even with all the poles and wires crisscrossing that neighborhood, they still as a matter of necessity have to own generators because those lines are as dead as ever. It's unfortunate she died needlessly. That side though, one can't help feeling this wasn't the whole truth. By and by, we'll surely get to it. |
He was sick, both psychotic and depressed but his family, nuclear and extended missed it. He needed treatment but unfortunately now, all is history. Many things happening go beyond 'normal' though they may have semblance of it. Mental illness is on the increase, we all need to be watchful and discerning. |
Eyaa, going back to Nigeria is now a brain-resetting threat. Hmmm, see life? |
This is nightmare! |
amyzon:The goat of a doctor was really sick and that is why yoiu should have given his his treatment right there and then. You wronged your husband and I will be disappointed if you don't use your opportunity when next that idiot comes snooping around you again. Pls, treat his fuckup! He needs such to save other women and girls from his aimlessly wandering dickhead. What nonsense. |
That appellation 'recession rats' may have drawn the ire of some guys, especially those who may have seen it as a veiled reference. |
Dreaded or not, where has it landed him and his cohorts now? Crime doesn't pay. Love life, leave crime! Short cut, short life. Wasted existence! |
This one has missed his 72 virgins by miles. Eyaaa. |
It's not enough doing all these reactions here on NL. Nigerian youths should take the protests to JAMB and the streets. Definitely something doesn't add up with this lame explanation. |
