I want to appreciate TPound for helping me secure and arrange for delivery of my Nissan Sunny from Ibadan to Abuja. I should have done this post in the last one month but I wanted to be sure about even the warranty he gave me concerning the car. So far, I must admit all the gadgets and devices including the chilling AC are in top notch! It is ot everyday one takes this kind of risk by entrusting 950k with a total stranger whose address or workplace I don't know except Nairaland. But he surprised me by helping me to scout for the car and personally investigated the ownership and car condition in the heart of Ibadan before encouraging me to make payment. Baba, you are indeed a man of integrity. I couldn't even admit to my colleague that I got it for less than a million bucks

Phones / Is Samsung A7 best tab For Blogging And Graphics? by citypulseng(m): 8:56pm On Feb 12, 2022 |
I am planning to retire my three years old Samsung Tab E, which gave me hell in the last one year. It has a poor memory capacity in terms of RAM. Buying external memory drive also failed to resolve the problem. A friend suggested I go for Samsung A7 tab as a good gadget for heavy graphic and editorial works, based on the review he watch on YouTube. Based on your knowledge and tech experience, please can you recommend a good tablet for blogging and graphics? |

Investment / Re: What Are Our Investment Mistakes In 2021? by citypulseng(m): 7:16pm On Dec 28, 2021 |
My best investment this year is in real estate. As a penny stock investors, I bought a couple of half plots whose has accumulated by 100 per cent. On the other hand, I lost 800k investing in an agro sector. It was meant to be a 4-month investment. But to date, the owner has filed for bankruptcy with many investors threatening to kill him if he refuses to return their capital. Worse still, the idiot is hiding from law enforcement agancies somewhere in Markudi. That wrong investment put strain on my other investment and forced to temporarily secured loan from a MFB to stay afloat. It is one heck of investment one can only pray to forget in a hurry. 4 Likes |

It is a great idea, provided you are not expecting immediate gratification. Real estate investment is a long term investment. Depending on the location and level of development, you will harvest almost 300% of your investment in between 5 and 10 years |

Business / How Can One Profit From Raw Food Business? by citypulseng(m): 2:36pm On Jul 08, 2019 |
Dear nairalanders, I am desperately in need of advice from those who have operated or presently running foodstuff business. Since the advent of 'Next Level', things have not been that rosy hence the need for another stream of income. I settled for the idea of raw food business like rice, beans, tapioca, yams etc because I observe food is a key element in man's hierarchy of need. However I am open to advice on how best to go about it since I am starting on a small scale. I will like to know how profitable it is, what I need to start, where to source for these foodstuff in Lagos at a cheap rate and some pitfalls to watch out for. Thanks in advance. |

Please I need a piece of advice. I am about buying into a property owned by Adron Homes & Property along Badagry. However I am worried because no fewer than 3 persons have dissuaded me against taking such act. Some alluded that the agency is fond of holding on to people's property after payment and compel them to pay up some hidden charges they bring up after payment. How true is this? I will appreciate those who have dealt with them before or have one or two experiences to share. |
Investment / Re: Your Biggest Investment In 2018 And How Much You Made? by citypulseng(m): 12:03pm On Jan 24, 2019 |
Last year was a mixture of blessing and disappointment. I lost pretty much through this so-called mini importation thing and Facebook advertising. To make matter worse, it was also a period my elder sister died. However I bounced back toward the last quarter of the year and I made over 1m from branding of LAGBUS & BRT Buses. This helped to offset some backlog of debts I incurred in the first 3 quarters. 63 Likes |

Events / PHOTOS: Fun Seekers Shut Down Shoprite, Maryland Mall On New Year’s Day by citypulseng(m): 12:27pm On Jan 11, 2018 |
In what has been described as unprecedented since it opens officially in 2016, Maryland Shopping Mall witnessed a massive turnout of shoppers and fun-lovers earnestly seeking outlets to spend the New Year’s Day. So crowded was it that shoppers were practically struggling to make their way in and out of the mall. While some were basically there for sightseeing, some others were seen in alleys and outlets taking selfie. It reached a feverish heights when both escalators stopped working. At that point, even the management of Shoprite, a South African retail giant was compelled to shut its two exit doors when the crowd was becoming uncontrollable. Fashion / Meet The Most Beautiful Pharmacist In Nigeria (PHOTO) by citypulseng(m): 10:28am On Aug 28, 2017 |
Standing at an incredible height of 6.2 feet, with a skin that glows like something taken from a Hollywood bestseller, Clare Omatseye is the poster girl of medical equipment and Pharmacy profession. With remarkable traits that make every first time visitor mistake her for a top rated screen diva, Clare dons a trademark smile and composure that subtly mask her true age. A pharmacist by training, entrepreneur by vocation, Clare is the managing director of international award winning company, JNC International Limited, a medical equipment project company with 18 exclusive International distributorship and a Marketing lecturer at the Lagos Business School. Over the last 12 years, she has grown JNCI into a proudly ‘Nigerian National Corporate’ company receiving several International and Nigerian Awards/recognitions such as the NHEA Award for best healthcare equipment (2014/2015/2016). She graduated with honours from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, with a B.Pharm and subsequently followed it up with an MBA from the University of Navarra (IESE) Barcelona, Spain. With about 25 years of experience in medical device technology, public health, healthcare policy, international marketing, pharmaceuticals, business strategy and entrepreneurship, she stands shoulder high above her contemporaries. Prior to establishing JNC International, the ‘Mulatto’ had a colourful career with Nigeria’s biggest indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing company, May and Baker Plc, where she was head of the vaccines sales and distribution section. Clare started her career in 1990 with an internship stint at Sterling Health (now GlaxoSmithkline). She later moved to Nigeria’s biggest indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing company, May & Baker Plc (M & B), where she had a progressive career in several job roles – Sales Representative, head of the vaccines sales and distribution section, Business Development Manager (Pasteur Merieux Connaught) and National Sales Development Manager. She left M & B to become an executive director (Business Development) with Aventis Pasteur Nigeria, a French Multinational Pharmaceutical Company, where she spent another two and a half years. Subsequently, she left for a new frontier as country manager (Nigeria) for Huntleigh Healthcare UK Plc – a British multinational quoted on the NYSE. After a year, Clare had seen enough to make her conclude that she can make a difference in the healthcare sector. That was how she left and birthed JNC International (JNCI). In the last couple of years, the pharmacist was elected pioneer president of the Healthcare Federation of Nigeria (HFN) and equally sits on the board of several reputable organizations including Society for Corporate Governance (SCG), Vaccipharm Limited and 234-Give. Lest we forget, she is also a dedicated Rotarian. As expected, the Nigeria’s pharma poster girl is happily married with three children – two grown-up daughters and a son.
