Foreign AffairsRe: Iran Strikes Israeli Chemical Complex Linked To White Phosphorus Production(Pix) by CJStarz: 8:58pm On Mar 25
Bia, nwokem, who your support help? All these your line,I will not support, don't expect me to support, bla bla bla,I dey ask you,who your support help?Who you be? Where you reach? Ur support fit buy one missile give Israel? America know say say you dey exist? Abeg carry your support shift.

geoworldedu:
Though I hate religion with passion, but I'm in support of Iran in this matter. Iran didn't throw bomb into your country at first, you started it. Then you called for peace, they accepted and during ceasefire you shot at their leader and killed him and many other innocent people. Then you want me to support you? Never!!!

Even though I must have practised Judeo-christianity in the past by reading and believing both the old and new testament, that wouldn't let me see nonsense and support it blindly like I did when I was a Christian. Imagine when David cut 200 peenis of the Philistines, it didn't sound awkward and evil to me while I was a Christian. When Jael slammed nail into a man's temple(head) and killed him, it didn't sound or look evil to me. How about when Samuel killed the king of another land in anger. How about when the Israelites killed infants and animals of other lands and married their wives? They all looked normal to me. Then I broke free from religion. Therefore I won't tolerate rubbish.

If Muslim terrorists are also the first to throw bomb at any nation, I will go against them. You can't hate an entire nation because of some terrorists in there. Just same way I can't hate the north because of some terrorists there. But I will hate terrorists from any part of the world.

Israeli terrorists, USA terrorists, Iran terrorists, Nigeria terrorists are all evil and I will forever hate them. But I won't hate the countries where they come from. So people should stop hating Iran as a whole, rather, hate their terrorists.

Again in this ongoing war, I will not support USA. They are clearly a big bully.

PoliticsRe: Before You Call That Politician/ruler Corrupt, Think Of This... by CJStarz: 5:58pm On Mar 25
Corruption is a Nigerian,my brother. I no too like Tinubu but stark truth remains that if some of us are in Tinubu's shoe, we go do pass wetin im do,as in we go looooooooot shege comot our treasury eye

Kalulu44:
I'm not here to exonerate our leaders and politicians for their corrupt and wrongful leadership, but for us to reflex on ourselves.
We the citizens and masses pointing fingers at our leaders for being corrupt. Are we not a product and reflection of our leaders.
These leaders do not fall from the sky but live and grow up among us.
Every corrupt practices of our leaders started from each and everyone of us neighborhoods and communities.
.
I rmbr years ago when I was in secondary school. Our principal said each and every class from JSS 1 A to whatever alphabet it ended till SSS 3 will have a group photograph that will be kept in her office for reference sake.
A photographer was contracted who charged #100 for each group photograph.
Our principal beat the price to #50 telling the photographer that it's a bulk photographs that will fetch him more money than just one single photo.
The photographer agrees and a day was set when he will come and starts his work.
Guess what, our principal and teachers collabo and charge each students #20 each.
Just imagine! A class of 30 (And we are above that back then) will be paying #600 for a group photograph of #50.
Can you see the corruption?
It didn't end there, a friend of mine told me categorically that he told his mum that our principal said we should pay #50 for the photograph and he inturn overheard his mum tell his father it's #100, lolz! You guys can see how the corruption is circulating both from familes to school teachers who's supposed to teach us morals.
.
Another example which till today still makes me laugh and shook my head was when I was in SS1, the son of our landlord who we are in the same school and set but not in same class, came to me one day and said if his dad should called me to ask of so so something that I should support him and tell his dad same thing he said. I asked him what is it?
He said the Biology text book they said we should buy, that he split the name to two and told his father that we are asked to buy BIO, LOGY. His father our landlord being a stark illiterate who made his money from selling building materials gave him money for two text books that's supposed to be one, I shook my head in disbelief.
I told him plainly that I don't know if I can support him if his father should call me, he sha begged and begged me. I told him I have heard him, but luckily for him his father never called me.
You may say this are isolated cases, but I believe worse are being done that you and I don't know of.
.
What of our workplaces, the cutting of corners, the bribing, the cheating of clients or ripping off our bosses. Presently I live and work in an environment surrounded by students and other youths who are 80% of them fraudsters or is it yahoo guys you call them.
They're not even ashamed or scared to say they're yahoo guys. You hear them nicknaming themselves "agba yahoo" "Yahoo pastor" "omo yahoo" "babalawo yahoo" and many other names. Where they're playing evening football, you see the ones who are not playing but watching discussing about different update and formats and about clients this and that, without caring who's listening or watching.
And all this are people who condemn and call politicians names.
Tell me if they're giving the opportunity the politicians have, they won't do worse. Cus it's already inbuilt in them.
So yes our politicians are bad and corrupt, but majority of us are all a product and reflection of them. Cus if not, I see no reason why a politician who has been indicted and convicted like James Ibori who came back from London prison and was welcome to his state like a hero.
.
So before you point your fingers at Tinubu, Akpabio, Obi, Ameachi, Atiku, Wike and co for being corrupt. Have you checked yourself very well of having not commit a fraction of what they've done.
I rest my case!

Whatever it is or however you have strayed, you are still conscious of the fact that there's a loving Father Who's ever ready to take you back. Thank you so much for enlightening me.
Much appreciated 🙏🙏

He's a full-blooded Fula. Rabiu Kwankwaso's late father was infact the Sarkin Fulani of Kwankwaso village in Kano State which is an indigenous Hausa State.

Atiku Abubakar and Nasir El-Rufai are also Fulas. Nasir El-Rufai's male ancestor is a Fula migrant from Guinea (Guinea Conakry) and Baba Ahmed who was Peter's Deputy in the last Presidential election is also a Fula who's biological father is a Fula migrant from the West African Sahelian country of Mauritania.

Former Governor Ganduje of Kano State too is a Fula. The Fulas hold political power but the Hausas are now gearing up to counter the Fula hold of politics in Hausaland.

Yes,Ohafia and Abiriba people are collectively referred to as nde Ogboo. They are into this 'Ogboo' or should I say 'namesake' thing. If only you have relatives you can come home to meet. U can't leave ur parents' house locked up.

PoliticsRe: IGP Disu Disbands All Police Units, Squads Nationwide, Orders Immediate Restruct by CJStarz: 7:30pm On Mar 22
Aba North RRS,how market 🤣
treesun:
Affected units reportedly include Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Anti-Cultism, Anti-Kidnapping, Scorpion Squad, Tactical Intelligence Response Squad (TIRS), Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), Monitoring Units, Tiger Squad, Gender Units, Anti-Robbery squads, among others.

There is disquiet within the Nigeria Police Force following an order by Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tunji Disu directing the immediate dissolution of multiple tactical units operating across commands nationwide.

Affected units reportedly include Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Anti-Cultism, Anti-Kidnapping, Scorpion Squad, Tactical Intelligence Response Squad (TIRS), Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), Monitoring Units, Tiger Squad, Gender Units, Anti-Robbery squads, among others.

The directive, communicated through an internal wireless message obtained by SaharaReporters, was issued after a recent virtual meeting between senior police officers and the IGP.

According to the message, all existing tactical teams at the command, area command, and divisional levels, regardless of their operational names, have been ordered dissolved with immediate effect.

“Following the IGP’s directives at the just concluded Zoom meeting with Commissioners of Police and above, all existing tactical teams at commands are being reformed into two, with operational names to be provided by the Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of Operations,” the message read in part.

The signal further specified that units such as “Lion, Tiger, Scorpion squads and others by whatever names called” are no longer to operate in their current form.

Under the new arrangement, only area commands and divisional surveillance units are permitted to function temporarily, pending further directives.

Personnel from the disbanded units are to be redeployed into conventional policing structures, including patrol and guard duties, the Divisional Crime Branch (DCB), Juvenile and Women Centre (JWC), and general beat assignments.

“The dissolved teams are to be subsumed into patrol and guard, DCB, JWC and beat with immediate effect,” the directive added.

The police hierarchy also indicated that further details regarding the restructuring would be unveiled during the end-of-month Officers’ Conference scheduled for March 26, 2026.

While the rationale behind the sweeping reform was not explicitly stated, the move comes amid longstanding public concerns over the conduct of certain tactical units, many of which have been accused of human rights abuses, extortion, and extrajudicial operations.

This is coming a few days after the IGP ordered a special resit promotion examination and interactive session for senior officers who were reportedly overlooked in previous cycles.

A confidential police wireless message obtained by SaharaReporters, dated March 16, 2026, shows that the Police Service Commission (PSC) has rescheduled the exercise for Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs), Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs), Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs), and Superintendents of Police (SPs) who were “not successful” in the December 2025 and March 2026 promotion cycles.

Insiders had told SaharaReporters on Wednesday that the affected officers were allegedly sidelined by a sophisticated bribery scheme orchestrated during the tenure of former IGP Kayode Egbetokun.

According to sources, Egbetokun’s leadership, with the alleged complicity of senior PSC officials, systematically blocked deserving officers from promotions while advancing junior officers who paid large bribes, effectively stalling the careers of senior personnel.

The current IGP is reportedly moving to "reconsider and rectify" these injustices by providing a transparent window for the sidelined officers to earn their next ranks.

The signal, issued by Nigeria Police Force Secretary, directs all commands to release the affected officers to attend the interview as scheduled. To ensure the integrity of the process, the officers are "strongly advised to refresh their memories" in core areas including professional studies, law, and local acts.

The IGP has also ordered a high-security detail for the exercise.

The AIGPOL MOPOL is required to provide "twelve (12) neatly turned-out armed men for escort duty," while the transport wing (TRANSFOR) is to provide "two (2) serviceable Hilux vans" to be placed on standby at the FHQ Parade Ground by 06:00 HRS.

My children missed a lot

Kalulu44:
If you witness or participated in any of these childhood Plays I am about to list out then I have to tell you Good evening and happy Sunday Sir/Ma, how is the children and if possible grandchildren?
To have witness or participated in them means you must be in your late 30s, 40s, 50s and above.
Without wasting much time, let me dig into the plays.
.
1. Boju Boju. (Hide and Seek)
This play is derived from Yoruba meaning covering your eyes.
This play is started by covering one person's eyes and they sang the "Boju Boju" song while other kids scampered and runs to hide.
The person's eyes is eventually opened and is mandated to start looking for others at their hiding place, anyone he or she caught, he screamed for others to know he has caught someone, that person caught will replace him and the circle continues.
One of the favorite plays of kids back then.
.
2. Ten Ten (10/10).
This play is played by two people who faced each other, and starts clapping singing ten ten. One person starts the singing and clapping, at the end of the singing that person swings out his or her right leg or left leg, the other person too swings out his or her own. If the other person's swing legs correspond with the initiator's own then he has won and will take over from the initiator and 1 point will be counted for him or her.
But if he fails, then 1 point will be counted for the initiator. It goes on and on till they're tired or one of them whose scores is low get replaced by another person.
Another favorite play especially among girls.
.
3. Suwe.
I don't know which tribe originated it but, it still sound Yoruba to me. Growing up in Lagos and a Yoruba land, I guess it belongs to them.
This play is played by drawing a huge line of up to 10 metres and then ruling them into boxes of to 10 or more.
It's played by 2 or more people. For a start, you throw a seed or visible object into a box, you picked up the object, and then hop over that box with one leg. You continue hopping with one leg on all the boxes till the end. If you get to the end without falling, matching any of the lines, then you have won yourself a box as a house, which you then inscribe your name or signature. No other person can throw object or step on that house, if they do they have failed and the circle continues until all the boxes are owned. Who owned the majority boxes/house is declared the winner. This play is also played in multiple ways too.
.
4. Kite Flying.
Majority of us and including genz knows this play, no need to elaborate on it.
.
5. Who Sabi Swim Water.
I doubt if many people across the country knows this play.
It's played by 5 or more people standing beside each other at a straight line, and another same amount of people standing opposite them, then they stretched out their hands and hold each other tightly.
One person will go back and jumped into the waiting hands while everyone sang "who sabi swim water" the person jumping into the waiting hands will respond "I sabi swim water" and others chorus "show me how to swim water" he then jumps into the hands and start mimicking swimming.
.
6. Koso.
Another play I don't know which tribe invented it, but it sounds Igbo to me.
It's played by using the cover of a pen/biro and the cover of those big radio batteries.
The cover of the battery is put untop the pen cover making it look like an umbrella.
You hold the bottom of the pen and twist it with your fingers, it starts rolling on the ground. While rolling, you systematically clips it to see if it will over turn and the head which is the battery cover will sit perfectly.
If it does, you have scored yourself a point.
.
7. My Name Sweet O!
My best of them all. This is the play I enjoyed most among all my childhood Plays.
This is played by 2 groups of 5 or more people sitting 10 metres away from each other. Each member of a group is giving a funny name by the group leader that's unknown to the other group.
Group A leader will go over to group B, cover one of it's members eyes with his two hands tightly and then call out a name from his group, who then walks to where his leader is, pinched the person whose eyes is covered on his forehead and then go back to his group and sit with others.
The person whose eyes was covered when opened will now walk to the other group to guess and identify who pinched him.
While this is going on, everybody will be singing "My name sweet o, my name sweet o sweet o, my name sweet o"
If the person guess right, he wins his group one man who will be added to his own group.
If he fails, he's added to the other group. It goes on till one group wins majority of the other group members and is declared the winner.
I so much love this play that I can't wait for night fall to organize and play it back then.
.
I will like to stop here, they're many others like Table/Paper Soccer, Building castle with sand using your legs, Rubber band play, Using thread to form things with your hands, Five Ten Fifteen to make me rich, e.t.c.
And others I can't rmbr or don't know and will like to hear from those who played it back then.
Most of if not all these childhood Plays has gone into extinction now. Our genz didn't play them and it isn't their fault, technology changed everything. But honestly, those were childhood memories and plays I don't think I will ever forget.
Note I didn't mention Whot, Ludo, Ayo, Table Tennis e.t.c. we played them too back in the days and they're still in existence till date.
Let me hear from the older generation who witness and participated in these plays, so I can know who I can be calling Sir or Ma, hahahaha.

I totally agrees with all the points you raised.
I said it too, this decision would have been appropriate if it was decided on that very day the incident happened. Honestly I am not blaming the referee cus that decision he took was ordered from above who didn't want the showpiece event to have ended in such fiasco. And after that, I thought they would have just let the result and winner stand and stay like that.
This latest decision just spoilt everything and makes dem look confused.
