I'm not sure on what section to post this topic, and since this is relative to what I want to rant about, I hope it suits. I've been getting all these messages from MTN inviting me to take an insurance cover my just texting my name and location and I get an insurance cover worth 350,000 naira in conjunction with mansard insurance. now, I'm a 300 level insurance student of the university of first choice and from the much I've acquired I just know you cant carry out an insurance contract like that. more especially that of life. I know there has to be the role of the underwriters to access the risk and know if it is viable. I'm starting to get confused if you can just reply an sms free of charge and get an insurance cover, does that mean we the insurers are gradually loosing business or are their some other aspects of this contract we don't know about. i''m scared cos I've been struggling to pass my CIIN exam to get a head way in the industry and it would pain me if at last all my efforts are in vain. i'm already scared for the actuaries who have computer applications replacing them in the industry already. please someone who has an idea should please clarify me.. thanks

no we aint beefing her, we r just not happy with her judging style, either she wasn't schooled well on how to be a judge or she is trying too hard. those kids in a group with a Christian like name that their instructor came on stage did a very poor rendition of ballet, their costume was very poor, looking more like a las Vegas show girls apparel and they kept on repeating the same stunts over and over again, and I bet u they purposely brought the 3 years old girl for sentiments.. I'm actually indifferent about Kate, but she is just too loud for my liking and as a judge you should give hopes and not dash them on the rocks. and that guy that cried was not good a tall then I got pissed off when he started asking God why, amarachi won cos she got high vote I believe and dats cos of the praises she kept on getting from the judges while there where other people with TALENTS.. I'm happy she won don't get me wrong but my ish is with the judge

jaytime: Sentiment should be another title for this thread. The Op is critising the judge for being sentimental out of sentiment. And it is sentiment that make who ever put this on front page to do so cos on a very good day, this should not even make it to the top of the page/section from where it was brought from for lack of comments.
If I have to comment, NGT show is just in its Day II, too early to attract this kind of criticism. IMO, it is only children that have impressed so far e.g the drummer boy, the alingo dancer, the youngstars that chorographed last sunday etc.

mmmm, actually i was more like pissed off, as a judge you shouldnt do what she did, there are other polite ways of telling a contestant they aint good enough.. my opinion

I just watched an episode of the NIGERIA GOT TALENT show, and its saddening to say I was both shocked an d annoyed at the lack of skill displayed by the judges. firstly, the lady judge ( I aint gonna call names) is so sentimental when it comes to little kids, and she just fills them with wrong and bad hopes, if they aint good, its her job to let them know so, I mean 20million naira is at steak and I wont stand to watch it go to a little kid who just comes on stage, pounce around and flashes a gorgeous smile to win (no way), if dancing should be considered a talent it should be extraordinary like wat some groups did in the episode I watched, instead of applauding their choice of music, and their stunts ( naija style) they didn't, costumes should also be applauded.. and the most shocking is the way the female judge ( aint still gonna call names) stretches her hand and presses the buzzer of her co judges ( who does that0 and the most annoying was when she walked out on the guy about to sing in a RUDISH manner, the guy was shocked. if you cant be a judge, please don't judge.. the rating of this show should be below 0 cause of the judges.. my opinion.

yeah ! I know, but he is not going to leave the food for more than a week cos he wld even get tired of the same food. my suggestion is to make stew ( in large quantity) he can now like to boil white rice. spag, yam, whatever as long as he has the stew. same wit d soup as long as he doesn't over boil the veg at first... yeah its safe, so long as u have NEPA gree give u light, eevn if dey no give u light, when u come back from work for night on your gen even if na only the fridge u go on...

hi, so i've got dis idea, since money no b problem and u can cook, why dont u cook enof variety of food mayb stew and 2 diff kind of soup during d weekend, store in containers in d freezers, so when u back from work just pop dem in d micro oven or over d fire.
