There are people (especially the clever ones) from poor family whom their parent manage to sponsor to private school were they meet good friends from wealthy home, those friends have helped them to attain success in life. Do you know some people became politicians with the help of their secondary friends? I will give you an example. If you had live in some part of Lagos eg Egbeda and later move to Lekki, you will see how important this is. IF you move from Lekki to Egbeda, you can hardly cope. It all depends on your income. If you know what people on the other side are enjoying, you will be amazed. How about security? strange funny looking faces? Kidnappers? Visiting mechanics in every thanksgiving? Life is too short, if you have the means, you better relocate to sane environment, you will have more opportunities and even so many business ideals to explore. Look around, see what people are doing and take a baby step. I can’t imagine myself living in the village, houses there are almost useless until maybe Festive period. How much is house rent self? After spending millions in building a house, you can barely get 500, 000 naira a year for a whole 4 flat with 3 bedrooms each(If them even agree to pay) whereas, if buy plot of land in Lagos in few years, you will be smiling to your bank (You don’t get these ideals in the village) Note: you are moving there for comfort because most rich people don’t mingle with strangers. If you live in America, send most of your money home to build nice house and set up a tangible investment in Nigeria. (Build a hotel etc) Live in a rented apartment in the US. If your wife chase you away from you rented apartment, go and rent another house. I’m very sure she will not come to Nigeria to claim all your investment and properties. If US tire you, cucuma come Nigeria and start to enjoy your sweat. If Nigeria tire you, take a trip to Paris, Dubai, Milan, Japan. Life is too short 11 Likes 1 Share |

You can’t get half plot for that amount not to talk of decent. Just do your research online. Peninsula garden estate, royal garden estate, emperor estate, diamond estate, pearl garden estate etc those are some decent estate. A plot of land in royal garden estate is over 30million(you have 24 hours light, 24hours security etc) but you can also get half plot of land in pearl garden estate(24 hours security) for 11m which is at the back of Shoprite. You will not want to buy a family land with all of it wahala even at that, I doubt if you will get half plot for 3m(anything is possible sha, just be careful) I know people who bought plot of land in peninsula garden estate few years ago for 4million, now a plot of land there is 23m to 30m. 2bedroom flat is going from 1.2m to 1.5m per year. bmarketing: |

Please I need this kind of advice too, I have a piece of land in sangotedo Lagos (300sqm) My initial plan was to build a 4 bedroom duplex on it but the way things are now, I think need a high quality small house. Maybe 2bedroom house Although my people are saying building such small house is a waste on that land since the land is expensive. I won’t use all my small savings to build house Na. Can someone give me estimate of 2bedroom house, I might want to change it to duplex later. Thanks |

I have experience this too. I dated 2 girls, one from a very wealthy home and another from a poor home. The poor girl demands was endless, she was very beautiful but always wanted things she can’t afford. I later found out that most of her trips was to meet sugar daddies The rich girl was a good girl, always trying to prove to me that she can cook, clean etc. also very ambitious and want me that way also. Polygamy is for matured men and not for weak men. Most men nowadays are woman wrapper and women easily toyed with them. Go to all social media platform, you will see women displaying abominable act, just check the comment section, you will see self acclaimed grown men clapping, doing eyes service instead for them to point it out to those girls that what they are doing is wrong. So many weak men in Nigeria. In my town, we have lived with the Hausas peacefully, they do business with us and they are also trust worthy. We have never had any clash with them. Some people even keep them as security (gateman) and confidently sleep comfortably at night knowing that there is an Aboki at the game. When I was in secondary school, we went to Jos for excursion and I tell, the hospitality we receive from the Hausas there was just amazing. Now, I think the problem here are the Fulanis or rather the Jihadist who have move from lybia and other part of Africa, sponsored by the former US government to destabilize Nigeria.
