Education / Re: What Could This Little Boy Be Thinking? (photo ) by Classicool(m): 12:59pm On Nov 09, 2015
I think what the boy is thinking about is "when will I drop this book and pen and join my brother in Sabisa forest and later send me to Iraq or Ahfganistan for more extensive training in-other to bomb and build my own Islamic Empire".

Well, my point is Bini or Edoid languages are totally different from Yoruba language or its dialects. The Yoruba-speaking communities in Edo state share border with Yoruba land, however the core Edoid languages in Edo state are different from Yoruba language.

We are still saying the same thing.

Dude, Bini and Yoruba languages are 2 different languages, save for a few words in common just as Igbo and Yoruba share words in common but are 2 totally different languages. When a Bini person writes his language here, you as a Yoruba will not pick up what he is trying to say. This is a misrepresentation of facts. Edo is not even classified as Yoruboid to begin with but as an entirely different language class on its own. Stop the misrepresentation of facts.
I didn't said Edo is the Same as the Yoruba... I said both of "em are mutual neighbours since the ancient time and also trading partners..... And that ancient mutuality is what bring about this modern time closeness between the two... And I also mean sharing cultural ties does not mean they are Yoruba.. But both are like bread and butter likewise Itsekiri..
And I also stated that the Edo's stand a better chance to understand our language than ours understanding theirs because there are Yoruba speaking community in Edo state.

Before you assign any word to a particular group, make sure you did your research!

Isusu has Igbo origin. It is an ancient banking tradition of the Nri Igbo brought to the Americas by the Igbo slaves. It beacame known as "Susu".
Is Osusu not Isusu... So don't derail it.

Bini is totally different from Yoruba in all respects and only shares a few similar words just as Igbo and Yoruba languages share similar words and meanings but are totally different languages from each other. A Yoruba speaker will not understand a Bini speaker and vice versa.
Yoruba and Benin are not that too different because most their words are inter-connected... I remember a family friend of mine they speak yoruba to the fullest and I can't even understand Edo... And Bini/Edo understand yoruba language because both Edo and Yoruba are both trade partners in the ancient days...
And Yoruba and Edo have cultural ties... There's something Called "Awon Oba Alade Merindinlogun" which means the 16 crown kings.. That include Oba Bini,Olu of Warri.. And Others in Yorubaland... That why you can never see Yoruba,Edo,Itsekiri fighting or arguing.. Because they are so connected that I can't even explain there mutuality

Politics / Re: What Is Wrong With The 2014 Confab Report? Why Did The North Reject It? by Classicool(m): 12:55am On Nov 08, 2015
If the pressure on CONfab implementation to be real make a great leads the sEast must put aside their differences with sWest... And also with an increase in Biafra Agitation both in the sEast and sSouth... That will also encourage sWest to boost the morale of Oduduwa Republic .. Once the west join the Agitation the north will be frustrated but GEJ bleeped up big time he had time to implement it before this year breaks in.
