Jakumo: This is a valid concern for sure, and as if to underscore your point, Nigerian customs recently seized a large consignment of drones many of which were large enough to be fitted with weapons. Regardless of whether criminals and terrorists acquire drones, it is VITAL that law enforcement and the military must ALSO deploy their own drones for both surveillance and munitions delivery.
https://parallelfactsnews.com/customs-combat-drone-military-equipment-mmia/ Thanks for this, this is exactly my fear, the terrorists are more sophisticated than we think and the military need to up their game and be wary of their antics. I strongly believe they are sponsored by some foreign eliment who supplies them with weapon. Im positive that with the combined effort of the airforce and military we will surely defeat the terrorist. Drone will play a major role in the fight against terrorist and the earlier we start using the better for us. I also wish our borders aren't this porous, our aviation have full control of the airspace and the custom have control over every item shipped into this country.😕 |

Politics › Re: Nigeria Clears Additional Backlog Of January Crude Oil Cargoes by clearcrystal: 2:21am On Jan 15, 2024 |
Faiththatworks: This is very very good news for those who understand what's happening right now in Nigeria. Despite the NNPCL delivering 6 million barrels of Crude oil to Dangote Refinery,it was still able to produce 20 cargoes which it exported for sale. Adding 1+1 together, the crude set aside for local refining and the one exported,it's clear to see Nigeria has started getting close or even surpassing it's crude allocation by OPEC. Although it's a bit sad that Nigeria still hasn't finished selling its stock for January, the cheering news is the fact the NNPCL will never deduct its earning every again in the name of paying for Subsidy. Another cheering news is NNPCL has already set aside 4 cargoes for delivery to Dangote Refinery in February, meaning it's forward planning its delivery inventory for next month. My Fellow Nigerians,This great country is about to experience massive and exponential growth in its Industrial prowess. I say it with utmost Faith, Nigeria Journey to greatness has started,it's only a matter of time before things start to get better. Let me sound this note of warning though, things will definitely get very tough before it gets better. The distribution network of Dangote is still at its elementary stage. I expect there will be massive chaos over the next 2-3 months while it perfects its distribution network. Pls let the government and the company start planning on how to evacuate the product. Check my signature for more ways to invest in land around the Refinery. God bless Nigeria. Thanks for your positive analysis. Another area the government need to look at is the insecurity situation in the country, it's getting out of hand and it seems the military is overwhelmed. This alone could frustrate the effort of government in reviving this country. |

waveman2: Dangote refinery will not make fuel price come down.Only improvement on the foreign exchange can bring the price to where we want it to be.But with this refinery on board we hope it will strengthen the naira.Improve electricity will also help curb inflation. But you should know that once the Refinery is in full operation and we don't have any reason to import again there will surely be an improvement in the foreign exchange rate. |

talk2hb1: Do you think those guys on the battlefield don't want air support, they want it, they want to go home too, they don't want to die out their. But since no air support was provided, they should sit and complain I'm not blaming the soldiers infact I commend their efforts and sacrifices. It would have been easier if they have the full backing of the airforce in situations like this. |
Politics › Re: Why Dangote Is Producing Diesel And Aviation Fuel Firstly by clearcrystal: 4:23pm On Jan 13, 2024 |
OP you are wrong, what you posted there was a product of your imagination.
With simple fractional distillation of crude oil you can easily get diesel and jet fuel (kerosene). The process is easier that's why Dangote decides to go for these 2 byproducts first. |

Politics › Re: State Crisis: What They Want From Me—governor Fubara Confesses by clearcrystal: 3:03am On Jan 03, 2024 |
Ebvadoo: Siminalayi Fubara, the Governor of Rivers State, has urged the people of the state not to be intimidated by the ongoing political turbulence. He asserted that his adversaries would not achieve their goals against him.
The political landscape in Rivers State has been tumultuous due to the intense conflict between Governor Fubara and his predecessor, Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike. This strife has led to a significant division within the legislative parties, as reported by Premium Times.
In an attempt to quell the longstanding feud between the erstwhile allies, President Bola Tinubu convened a meeting and brokered a peace agreement last month.
Despite these efforts, Governor Fubara, in a brief video message posted on X (formerly Twitter), encouraged the people of the state to maintain a positive outlook amid the ongoing crisis, assuring them that a resolution would be reached.
In the video, Governor Fubara pulled out a red pen from his breast pocket and addressed the audience, declaring, "This red pen is the will. I still have it."
"The pen failed," the governor acknowledged, adding, "As long as we hold onto the Red Ball Pen, we are the winners." He emphasized that Rivers State would continue to progress as long as they held the covenant with the Red Bureau.
According to a statement by Boniface Onyedi on Facebook, Fubara attended a New Year Parish Diaconate meeting in the city of Sao Paulo in the Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area of Rivers State. This meeting place holds significance as the birthplace of Governor Fubara.
In a Christmas broadcast to the state's residents, Governor Fubara reiterated his commitment to implementing the Abuja peace accord despite facing criticism, emphasizing that the accord was not a "dead end." What sort of journalism is this? The writer practically said nothing different from the 1 minute video circulated online and what we've know before concerning the feud. Sigh 😒 |

There are many over 50 out there who have no such desires. Don't use the word many, they are very few. Most of them desire to marry and have a family but events and circumstances never make it happen. For sure some people will not get married till they die which may be by choice or by circumstance beyond their control. Older feminist are regretting their foolish decisions when they were younger. I repeat, the urge/desire to have a family increases when you become older except you aren't no.rmal.It's just the way we are programmed. |

aribisala0: The kids will stay with you forever?
Your understanding is very superficial? Is it everyone that can have kids? Is it only under 40s that marry? Is it every person that is married that lives with their family. Is it every person that has good children? You are the one that is sounding under 40 like you have not really seen life
Marry has different utility for everyone for you it is to have a family to return home to every day Even that is just a phase in life One day you are a child living with your parents Another you are having children you can return to that is NOT EVERYDAY as you imagine One day it will end if you live long enough You will be with just your wife of yourself or with whatever community you have acquired Many old people in Nigeria have all their children Japa-ed and they are ALONE
For others it is very different reasons Yoruba say if we don't eat yam because of oil we eat oil because of Yam
Don't assume what is good for you is good for everyone or that it is good for them for the same reason it is good for you Some people Marry and do not want kids AT ALL Marriage is a blessing for many people for other it is just a rehearsal of hellfire Yes the kids won't be with you forever but what is yours is yours. They remain your kids no matter their age. Don't deceive yourself, we are 'wired' this way. As you grow old, you will keep having this growing urge to have a family. I really need to know your age. |
