Sir, because NFF is attempting to get it right, ain't mean they've been gotten it right since Time immemorial.

The Lads look their Ages, and I pray they ain't discarded by the NFF, rather allow to keep growing, developing and gelling Together.
Did I say they've always been getting it right?.
But from 2013, things have improved.
I'm still baffled when people dispute the age of Iheanacho who have played in various cadres of the national team (starting from the under 13) but keep sealed lips at the old man facie of players like Ola Aina because he is FB ( just using him as an example)

Can someone give me one valid reason why Claude Puel put Iheanacho on the bench? Apart from pace, wetin Vardy take pass Iheanacho? For me the only more technically gifted forward is Mahrez, yet Okazaki gets to start b4 Iheanacho? I don't get it. I'm trying my best to not call it favouritism or racism. He's not even on the bench!!!
It's like u don't get it. Iheanacho is not in the match day squad at all. Hard to believe nd surprising to the ears but .......the truth.

I call this mere transfer speculation.....

Henry should stay humble... His current form with Anderlecht shows that he isn't a one season wonder..

I really hope Rohr takes him to Russia... If Moses Simeon who is playing in the same Belgian league can be starting games for us then why not Henry??
I believe his time will come. Remember Moses Simon has been in SE for a longer time nd so it goes without saying that he understood the coaches philosophy nd they trust him. Onyekuru needs to be patient

Mickael2:
wait, are you missing the point here? I am to believe that we are the highest scorers, we have the meanest defence and we beat the best teams around, then you are telling me that the guy that is EASILY our own best player does not deserve to be in the team? It does not make any sense, you have players there who barely had 2-3 good games, Mikel was very good(atleast) in every game and once he leaves the pitch the entire team suffered, and he added goals and preassists too
U kept drifting away from the main issue. The question is, did u watch the other players who made that ceremonial best eleven during the qualifiers. Prove by comparing them that they don't merit their spot in that team. For me, I only watched Mikel during the series but I can't say he was the best midfielder in the qualifiers since I didn't watch the others play for their national teams in other games whose efforts might have been overshadowed by the poor display of their teammates.

Mickael2:
Check these.....

Nigeria vs Zambia, 2-1 Mikel was instrumental.

Nigeria 3-1 Algeria, Mikel was instrumental, even scored.

Nigeria 4-0 Cameroon, Mikel was instrumental, even scored.

Cameroon 1 vs 1 Nigeria, Mikel was okay.

Zambia 0-1 Nigeria, Mikel was instrumental.

This is a guy that makes the team play well, if he isn't there then that list makes no sense. VicMo missed a lot of games
Though a fan of Mikel, I feel playing well in the qualifiers might not be enough to displace any of those who made that WCQ qualifiers best eleven unless if you can prove that he was actually better than the midfielders selected.

20 players train today as Victor Moses, Iwobi join Eagles
By admin - October 3, 2017, 7:25 pm23 0

Alex Iwobi
All 25 Super Eagles called up for Saturday’s crucial World Cup qualifier against the ambitious Chipolopolo of Zambia including Victor Moses and Alex Iwobi are now in camp even though only 20 of them trained this evening in Uyo.

Chelsea’s Victor Moses, Arsenal midfielder Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina and Simon Moses were the last to join the squad Tuesday evening and so were not part of today’s training.

Gernot Rohr supervised Tuesday’s two-hour training, which involved 20 players.

The latest arrivals are now expected to join the rest of the squad in Wednesday morning gym work and then evening training at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

“The two Moses’, Victor and Simeon, are already in town. So also are Ola Aina and Alex Iwobi,” team spokesman Toyin Ibitoye told SCORENigeria

“They join others in training tomorrow morning.”

Zambia are expected on Thursday from Ghana, where they set up a training camp.

The Super Eagles won the first leg 2-1 in Zambia and will qualify for Russia 2018 World Cup finals with a win on Saturday in Uyo.

Iwobi and Moses miss Nigeria training ahead of Zambia clash

Gernot Rohr’s men began preparation for the World Cup qualifier against the Chipolopolo without the England based professionals
Chelsea’s Victor Moses and Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi were missing in Tuesday evening’s training as Nigeria prepare for their crunch encounter against Zambia in Uyo.

Iwobi, who was on target in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory against Brighton and Hoves over the weekend, was given permission to sit out of Super Eagles’ drill by Gernot Rohr – as he arrived late afternoon.

Moses, on the other hand, is yet to arrive camp despite his no-show in Chelsea’s 1-0 defeat to Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.

Moses Simon, Chidozie Awaziem, and Ola Aina completed the list of players who did not warm up with the three-time African champions.

Mikel Obi, Odion Ighalo, Anthony Nwakaeme, Leon Balogun, William Troost Ekong, John Ogu, Oghenekaro Etebo and Ikechukwu Ezenwa were part of the session.

Others include Elderson Echiejile, Daniel Akpeyi, Wilfred Ndidi, Uche Agbo, Mikel Agu, Dele Ajiboye, Ahmed Musa Ifeanyi Ifeanyi, Aremu Afis and Kelechi Iheanacho.

Super Eagles Only Out-And-Out Left Back Suffers Training Ground Injury

Super Eagles Only Out-And-Out Left Back Suffers Training Ground Injury
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Monaco loanee Elderson Echiejile could not complete the Super Eagles first training session held at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Tuesday evening.

The left back twisted his ankle as he tried to stop the ball during the first practice game that involved four players on each side, and laid on the pitch injured before he was attended to by Super Eagles medical team.

Manager Gernot Rohr had to call for a break and Echiejile was replaced by Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi when the session resumed.

For about twenty minutes, an ice pack was wrapped around the defender's ankle before it was removed by the physiotherapist.

The severity of Echiejile's ankle injury has not been determined yet as he managed to wear his boots and took part in a stretching exercise after the second practice game.

Whilst Echiejile is the only out-and-out left back named by Rohr in his 23-man roster, Ola Aina, who was not sighted at today's training session, can also operate in that role, though he is right-footed and predominantly thrives as a right back.

Ifeanyi Emmanuel
Lol.
Echiejile......Hear the word of Nigerians ; Thou shall not recover till after Zambia's match Amen

Guys, is that a wicked prayer? Lol

OWNGOAL update on Moses' Arrival:

Reports gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com has it that Moses arrived Nigeria last night alongside the duo of Aina and Iwobi but had problems connecting a flight to Uyo.

He is however expected to arrive the camp of the team this night, and will be involved in tomorrow’s training session which will take place in the morning at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
So how many players are in camp now sir? .
Any update from anyone?

I just like Rohr's interview. I listen to them over nd over again. My best interview was the one before the Zambia game where he said "Everybody must know it's a big responsibility for each player to play for his country, it's a bigger responsibility than to play for his club".

Also I like his mindset.....he claimed only two countries play at a very high level in Africa at the moment.....Nigeria (After the game against Cameroun)and while I was expecting him to name one big footballing nation like Egypt for example as the other team, he mentioned Zambia. Call it Mind games but I call it an humble mindset. I wish he can transfer it to our players

Bar the Victor moses' free kick that was wrongly disqualified for offside, the last time the super eagles converted a free kick chance was moses Simon against Cameroon.

During oliseh's era, Simon was shouldered with that responsibility and he did well. If I'm correct, he's gent's free kick taker. I'd give him that role if I were the coach.
Not sure Moses Simon has scored a free kick against Cameroon bros
