Christianity Etc › Re: Why I Want to Abandon Christainity! by Clerverly(op): 3:24pm On Jun 29, 2012
buzugee: 1-what is the purpose of the universe and the earth without its inhabitants ? you think God created these things so he can admire and be amazed at what he has created ? lol ? . those things were created to be INHABITED. the inhabitants are whom these things were created for so the inhabitants are more important.

isaiah 45 vs 18 For this is what the LORD says--he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited--he says: "I am the LORD, and there is no other.

the other realms beside the earth is where all the spiritual bodies rest inbetween been in human forms. however when it is time to be deployed into a body, you come back down to earth. SO IN ESSENCE THESE THINGS WERE MADE FOR THE PEOPLE SO NO NEED TO WONDER WHY HE CARES ABOUT PEOPLE WHEN HE MADE THOSE THINGS

AND WITH THAT I HOPE I HAVE PLAYED MY PART IN MAKING YOU STAY STRONG WITH THE LORD BECAUSE WITHOUT HIM YOU ARE N-AKED. EXPOSED. NOT A GOOD STATE TO BE IN A DIABOLICAL WORLD ( AND IT IS ONLY DIABOLICAL FOR A PERIOD AND NOT FOREVER. BUT TILL THE RIGHTEOUS KINGDOM IS ESTABLISHED AFTER THESE TRIALS AND TRIBULATION IN HELL ON EARTH ) YOU NEED YOUR PROTECTION BRUH. YOU CANT BE BUTT NEKKID OUT HERE grin )
Thanks but i need more logical answers.

joe4christ: Just reading your post i could not help but laugh at your ignorance, do u really think your not believing God would stop or dethrone him from being God almighty?
Your shallow mind cannot comprehend this God, his ways are far far higher than ours, just as the galaxies in the heavens are far from the earth so are his intelligence far from ours.
The day you find this mighty God by logic that day he cease to be God, do you think such a mighty king does not have a standard and he's so unprincipled that a mere mortal would find logically?
You must be kidding me, if the lord should speak to you audibly about the mysteries of life and the answers to your questions do you think your mind can even comprehend it, when you hear the thunderouse voice of the king of kings do you think your your strength would'nt fail you?

Let me tell you, God almighty defies logic, he only chooses to reveal himself to those he chooses to reveal himself to, if you must get to know him then you must seek him in truth and in spirit and he will be glad to not just reveal himself to you but likewise reveal hidden things of the kingdom to you.

Nough said!
This is exacty why my faith is eroding; Mysteries, not logic, you cannot understand etc. Why not just help my ignorance instead of begging my questions. You detest logic yet you apply it in wading thru life challenges.
Next please..
Christianity Etc › Why I Want to Abandon Christainity! by Clerverly(op): 1:44pm On Jun 29, 2012
Unless someone comes up with a valid and logical reasons or answers to the following questions and observations, I am afraid i would dump christainity before the year runs out. Anyway about 70% Faith has gone.
Now my Questions and Observations;
1. Knowing what I know about the unbelievable immensity of the universe as revealed by contemporary astronomy, I find it utterly ridiculous that a being that created such a universe would be interested in the activities of a cosmically insignificant creature, homo sapiens, who inhabit the surface of a cosmically insignificant planet in the Milky Way.
2. Given what is known scientifically about humans, there is no good evidence for supposing that something in us continues perpetually after our demise. What exactly is an immortal soul for?
3. What is the original sin? According to the Old Testament, Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. Surely a mild reprimand would have been enough. Why did God turn the whole thing into the alpha and omega of all sins?
4. According to the scripture, God incarnated in a man, Jesus, who was totured and crucified to atone for the sins of future generation of believers. If that is so my question is, why have christains unfairly vilified Judas, the disciple whose action set the redemption train in motion? In John, 13:27, there is an indication that Jesus actually wanted Judas to betray him so that the Old Testament prophesy might be fulfilled.
5 Assuming that the christain God who is supposed to be a loving father, really wanted to forgive us sins, why didnt he just do so without the wholly unnecessary sadistic rigmarole of having his son manhandled and executed?
6. Why should the redemption of mankind be achieved through blood sacrifice, one of the most antediluvian and cruel modes of appeasing deities?
Everybody is welcome here to contribute.

Mandelaguy: I have been called a govt agent severally, it is a game of absurdity because I personally want this country to succeed,I desperately wish her to achieve the giant status she has been carrying like a burden since he independence but has not been able to achieve,I have taken keen interest in the politics of this nation, and am solely interested in showcasing the positives and x-raying the negatives. I want to see this nation work, not by hurling insults, accusations and counter accusations. I became angry when I saw the vebal insults and war people are waging against GEJ, not putting into perspective the environment he inherited to work in. In as long a time as I can remember, we have not had a better president, talk of one contending with all these forces. I was labelled and even banned because I stand on what I believe. There is freedom of speech and association in this country and the truth is that most of us will never sell our conscience and personally, when I believe in a cause, I take my time to analyse before I follow. I AM NOT PAID BY ANYONE and not afraid to maintain my stand because I know how difficult it must be for this guy trying to set us on a new path (GEJ) and am willing to give him time. The haters are at it because their turbines sucking the economy has been shut down, and this is their way of retaliating(and hence misleading their gullible followers). Trail blazers,be it inventors or new school has always met stiff opposition and GEJ will nt meet a different reaction. I rest my case!

Captainajama: People, can't you see the connection? Saharareporters,el rufai,Bakare, ayittey ,momodu, etc. these are all frustrated people who would have le us have each if they were in Aso rock. The truth is that the are now peddling everything they can to their gullible followers and as you can see, the s.t.up.id professor has been given the audacity to insult all of us. By calling our president a lunatic,he has called us all lunatics, including the idi...ots that encouraged the insult on our nation and sovereignty. We should tell his president to caution him and for Bakare, he is not a pastor....we know the ones that are pastors. He has compromised his faith, yes,a long time ago!

Why in the world would the Police use MARKED DOLLAR NOTES for a sting, and somehow forget to make sure they can easily TRACE THE NOTES? It has been about 2 months since the 'sting', yet the best our cops have to do is SEARCH BANKS for the missing notes? shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked undecided undecided undecided undecided[/

Politics › Re: Farouk Lawan Released On Bail by Clerverly:
unkie][/quote]
1. Why was he not arrested at the scene of the crime? At least it would have been easier to recover the said money, maybe that would ve made the evidence more admissible.

2 I still insist the money was never marked, at least they should have given us the serial numbers not just badging into his house to pick any dollar they can lay hands on. For the Nigerian papers, am sure you are not living in this country. No paper does investigative journalism, all they do is wait for any lead from the internet, unreliables sources, interview etc, the
next morning they go to town with it.
3.Your last question casts a lot of doubts on the STING OPERATION being claimed by Otedola.
4 My point still remains that Farouk is a big Thief and Otedola a bigger One

Politics › Re: Farouk Lawan Released On Bail by Clerverly: 10:38pm On Jun 16, 2012
These are the things i can deduce from the whole drama:
1. There was no sting operation involving the SSS. Otedola recorded the whole movie himself.

2. The money was never marked.

3. Farouk only involved the Police when he was tipped of the recording.

4. Otedola handed over to the police the audio and video they are branding about.

5. Farouk and Otedola are guilty as charged.

6. Nothing else will come out this because the objective has been achieved and surppassed.

Jona and PDP i no go better for una!!!

I have stated the facts in my interview with Thisday newspaper and nothing but the facts. That Farouk Lawan demanded $3 million from me and because I refused to oblige him he included the name of Zenon amongst those who bought forex without importing petroleum products. He did this without even asking Zenon to produce a single document of the forex transaction.
