“However, that a national leader should go campaigning on the platform of ethnic support at a time when priorities dictate a united national engagement for survival, is a grotesque undertaking that was tragically rebuked in the massacre of worshippers and desecrationVery apt! |

The House of Representatives has postponed its scheduled resumption of plenary from Wednesday to December 16. A statement by the Clerk to the House, Mr. Mohammed Sani-Omolori, late on Tuesday, explained that the decision was to allow the members to participate in the primaries of their respective political parties. It added that the House had to postpone the resumption after the parties adjusted their initial calendar for the primaries. “The House will now resume on Tuesday, 16th December, 2014 at 10am. “The leadership of the House took note of the adjustment in the calendar of the political parties and took the decision for the postponement to allow members of the House participate in the forthcoming primaries of their political parties,” part of Sani-Omolori’s statement read. The development confirmed an exclusive story by The PUNCH on Tuesday that the resumption was not feasible. Many lawmakers had confided in The PUNCH on Monday that they were preoccupied with fighting for a return ticket in 2015. One of them had said, “You don’t expect members to come and sit in Abuja on December 3, just days to their primaries, do you? “Why does anybody want us to come and sit here when we should be contesting for our return tickets?” Besides the party primaries, The PUNCH had also observed that December 3 (Wednesday) was an odd date for the House to reconvene after a break. Members have traditionally resumed on Tuesdays. House Deputy Majority Leader, Mr. Leo Ogor, had admitted there was indeed a mistake in selecting the initial date. “So much was happening at the time the date was taken that we did not realise 3rd is even a Wednesday,” Ogor had said. http://www.punchng.com/news/reps-postpone-resumption-for-party-primaries/

GEJTILL2019:Pls stop it...that name makes me sick! |
soroptimist:But they can easily be influenced! One of the delegates from Ebonyi is my friend, I know what he told me yesterday! However, Ogbonnaya Onu( Okaa Omee 1) is hell bent on delivery the state to his bossom friend, General Buhari! |
barcanista:And the south West delegates are going to vote for Buhari en block: say 80:20 in favour of Buhari! The only place Atiku would convincingly is south east but then when you add up the number of delegates from each zone, your guess would be good as mine! Sai Buhari! |
Obiagelli:Go back to the dream and finish it! |
barcanista:Na so I just learned! How work joor?? |
Democracy at work! You cant just but Love the APC and their democratic structure! Sai Buhari!!! We will pacify Atiku and co after the primaries! |
seanet02:Haba bros calm down! Berem is a staunch supporter, I understand her, though there are some certain things one doesn't need to say as a party person in a documented forum like this! And I believe she has learned that by now! However like she said, you owe her an apology for calling her a mole! Cheers!! |
Anybody the Party that Gave Us Fashola and Gbajamiala, present, I will definitely trust their judgment and drop my pin vote for the Person! I am a party man, I don't do hide and seek! Good Day all!!! Before I forget! PDP is an evil party, avoid them like plague! |
berem:I am talking not about "theories" but practicals! Being a member of one Forum or another does not translate to vote when it matters! My point is, If Yorubas want Agbaje( which they don't anyway), they would definitely vote him and he will emerge victorious but not because one group of people who scarcely possess voter's card! Nevertheless, Jimi George Agbage CAN NEVER WIN IN Lagos! Good day sis! |
berem:Berem I live among our people! And I can confidently tell you Igbos don't vote during elections not in Lagos, not in anywhere! They defeated Tinubu with their mouths in 1999 and 2003, installed Jimi Agbaje in 2007 and delivered Dosunmu in 2011 all in their football pitches during the voting hours. Kindly ask those around you who are rooting for Agbaje George where they kept their voters card? Alas! You would be disappointed! If you must know many of them traveled to their respective villages to do the registration in 2011 and came to shout PDP! All The Way!! PDP doesnt exist in Lagos simple! |
Obiagelli:The way some poor fellows use the word pay here is highly irritating! If I need evil money I will definitely port to PDP and I know where to get it! Just ignore them Nne, some of them hale poverty like Fresh Air! |
berem:You are supporting the APC, and you are campaigning for Jimi Agbaje to win Lagos under Bode George? That's political naivety on your part? If you must know, the Lagos is to APC what Abuja is to PDP, with it, there is not opposition. So whoever The Yeye PDP presents should be resoundingly defeated by ALL MEANS NECESSARY! |
Obiagelli:Even if they presented him, Hundreds of thousands of PDP would work against him! Obanikoro may even defect to further humiliate PDP and Bode George! Head or Tail, they cant come near Ala Hausa let alone smelling power. Bunch of Never-Do-Wells! |
cktheluckyman:For your dream? |
They are all jonathan's supporters! And Somebody will preach jonathan to me? I will rather commit suicide than vote jonathan even at gun point! Yeye people! |
