BIRTH STORY
This would have been my seventh year without a child but God of mercy has turned things around. It was a long wait going through infertility challenges and different procedures until God honored His word for my home. Got a positive from my very first ivf procedure. Pregnancy was smooth except for a little scare out of anxiety and fear sometimes. We opted for elcs due to our peculiarity.
Being an asthma patient, the condition got worse in the third trimester and eventually led to an emergency cs. My little one was birthed when I didn't expect but He's a joy to behold.
We had little challenge with his breathing due to his weight (and few other things) but the doctors were able to manage him well till we were eventually discharged.

Today, I return all glory to God for the fulfillment of His word and pray for all gtc moms that the Lord that did for me, will answer them speedily too. Amen

Its the Lords doing, all thanks to God Almighty. Its a bouncing baby Boy, his all have prayed for.. He weighed 3kg, and came to this world after a serious tear at exaclty 11:45am. Glory to God. BA ALERT!
I welcomed my prince charming on 25th june via emergency cs though I was scheduled for an elective cs at a later date. My pumpkin weighed 4.1kg. Mom and son getting better. Daddy fine too.

Good evening July teamies and other waddling mamas, thank God for the BA from our mamas, I pray God sees the rest of us through this amazing journey.. My question are thus:
1) which EDD should I follow, my own calculation with my LMP or the first scan I did @9weeks?
2) what week is best to go for my maternity leave?
3) Am 33weeks today, for the past 5-6 days, my prince as been kicking down below my lower abdomen/pelvic region, hope its normal?
4) Been having severe chest pain, on and off. What could me the reason?

Going with edd of my first scan for now though plans are likely to take a different turn.
We are also 33 weeks plus o and kicking/movement can make someone be turnioniown. Sometimes, there is a strong bulge between my breasts and doctor said its most likely the bum or legs. it also makes me very uncomfortable and breathless. I think you should let your doctor know about the chest pain since it's severe. Mine is usually only for the moment the bulge/kick is strong.

So i asked my doc what exercise I cud engage myself in since am a FTM, he told me to walk a trekkable distance of 40mins 3 times a week and that all, it as helped me stay active since I began...

Yes, I injected myself the hormonal injections, either on the left or right, just below the navel. Pain is subjective. Sometimes is like a pinch, sometimes more. They will teach you how to do it. I also watched some videos on youtube.

I rested more after retrieval than after transfer. Transfer is after 5 days. I was only on bed on the day of transfer but still walked the stairs that day. I did little tasks the day after and got into my normal routine 2 days later. However, no lifting of heavy objects, unnecessary climbing, bending or running.

I also followed some of the routine I saw here on lifestyle and diet.

Initial Registration and preliminary tests @ 50k if I still remember correctly cos we registered early 2017. Ivf @ 800/850k. Endo scratching @ 15k. The endo scratching is done a week before your next period.

Yes, I got a bfp after my 2 failed iui's with them also. Its my first ivf cycle.. One of the days I went for scan, I met a couple who also got a bfp. I also met someone who cycled around same time with me but was bfn.

Its a BFP from Ivf after the long trials. Thankful to God. I had to come back here because I learnt a lot while here. I had to leave due to so many frustrations. God has proven himself faithful above all.
