Hi, I have the same issue on my 2010 IS250 and get an average MPG reading of 21.7 mostly city driving. I’ve driven it like that with no adverse i.e excessive fuel consumption (apart from the environmental damage obviously) so I was wondering why you recommend parking the car till new catalytic converters can be installed? Kindly enlighten me please.

If the catalytic converter is blocked, if it is not changed it could affect the engine most likely
