“What are you doing Sonia?” I asked.

Rose’s POV


-At home-

I can’t wait for the robot to be delivered to me, I ordered for it yesterday.

I was in the dinning eating. Ethan has gone out. The visitor’s bell rang and I stood at once to open the door.

I was less surprised when I saw the delivery man with the robot beside him.


The robot was dressed in suit, he’s yellow in color and looked very handsome. He was smiling at me like he was real.

“You can give him any name you want, the manual to become an expert in operating him is here.” The delivery man said as he stretched a book at me.

I received it and nodded.

“He works based on command, I believe you have little ideas on how to control robot?” The delivery man asked.


“Sure…I once lived with one at my mother’s place. ” I said and the delivery man nodded as he turned away. He walked away.

“Welcome!” I said to the robot while still standing at the entrance.

“Thank you.” He said still smiling.

“Come in!” I said opening the door widely for him to step in.

He walked in gently and kept staring at the house.


“You like my home, right?” I asked.

“Sure, it’s magnificent and awesome.” He said.

“Have your sit , please.” I said to him and he sat.

I took the manual that the man had given me and began to study it. In few minutes, I was done.

“I need to give you a name…erm…I think you should bear Brandon.” I said.

“Nice name. Thank you.” He said and I nodded.

“I need to tell you why you are here actually, my husband behaves strangely when it comes to our romantic life, you can’t believe he hasn’t even made love with me since we got married.” I said but the robot just kept staring at me.


“So…I…I want you to act like we are in love, you act like my husband.” I said.

“I’m sorry but I do not know how to fall in love, I do not know how to make love neither, forgive me. It’s the way I was created.”

“I understand. I’m not asking you to fall in Love with me neither am I telling you to make love with me. Just act like my husband, act like you are in love. In fact, act like we make love sometimes.” I said to the robot.

Ethan arrived from his place of work and pressed the visitor’s bell. I went to the door and opened it.

Ethan who was suppose to walk to his room walked before us just like I had predicted.

“Rose, what is going on here?” He asked. I chuckled inside of me but maintained a serious face. It’s the first time in our marriage that he will be calling me by my name.

All this while, he had referred to me as ‘wife.’

“I don’t get your question.” I said as I adjusted well on Brandon’s lap.

“I’m confused here. Who is this young man?” Ethan asked?

“Someone that can make Love with me.” I said.


“Really? Cheating on me in my own house?” He asked.

“Cheating? Do you call that cheating? Plus are you not cheating on me with your silly s*x do-ll?” I asked.

“Rose, you should understand me.” He said painfully.

“Understand what? That you want to make my p***sy rotten cause you wouldn’t make use of it. This man here would help you out, don’t worry.” I said.

Ethan looked away and turned back at us.

I winked at Brandon and he just smiled.

I was laughing out loud as I walk towards Ethan’s room. Brandon and I walked inside Ethan’s room and we saw him laying on the bed with his eyes opened.

He was probably thinking.

“Okay, I will. Can you leave now?” He asked Brandon.

“I’m sorry, I can’t. I need to watch you do exactly what she yearns for.” Brandon said.

Ethan began to remove his belt, he pulled off his trousers and crawled to me.

“Baby, who Is he?” Ethan whispered to my ears.

“To be husband.” I replied and he stood up unexpectedly.

“Erm…Can you please stay at the bathroom at least, there is no way I will be comfortable making love with my wife in your presence.” Ethan said and Brandon looked at my face for answer again.

I signalled for him to reply :’YES’

“Okay!” Brandon said and Ethan walked with him to the bathroom.

I noticed Ethan took a while before coming out but I ignored that.

“Baby! I’m dealing with that man?” Ethan said.

“Huh?”

“I believe you know the bathroom leads directly to the swimming pool, as soon as we get to the bathroom, I opened the door that lead to the swimming pool and pushed him there. ” He said.

“What! ” I screamed.

“If he can swim , he will escape it but with the look of things, the rain is falling. He may drown cause the water is much.”

Jeez! The manual said the robot must not spend more than 15 seconds in the water , if it does, it will start to misbehave.

Scott’s POV


While at one of the entrance of Helen’s room, I began to hear sounds of someone that was finding it hard to speak out.

I was scared at first thinking it might be Helen. I opened the door to Helen’s room and on opening it, I saw Helen sleeping sound.

I closed the door to her room gently and traced where the sound was coming from. I finally get closer to the place.

It was Brenda. She was smirking.

“Why did you break the glass of my car?” I asked angrily.

“Secondly…Bella or what’s your name. I had to keep you so you wouldn’t tell where I hide.” She said.


“Can you hear her?” Bella said to me and stood.

“I’ve had enough of this, I’m telling my dad.” Bella said and called her dad.

Few minutes later, the cops arrived and arrested Brenda.

I was at Jack’s office the following day, I have a lot of questions to ask him.

Episode 13

I felt like my head is spinning when I heard the voice, my eyes rolled and I became unstable with my feet didn't know what happened afterwards.

A knock on my door woke me up from my slumber, my eyes and head felt heavy.
I staggered to the door and opened it, my aunt reminded me of the water I placed on the fire.

I rushed over to the kitchen and quickly made the garri, I find Abigail trying to knock again but she was yet to decide.
I turned the garri and informed my aunt that I will be putting the pot of soup on the fire then leave.

I rushed in and dressed up picked my phone and a book, I apologised to Abigail for making her wait then we both left together.

We took a bike to avoid another trouble on our way, I didn't know if she felt my di-ck pressing on her soft bumbum or she just pretended not to notice, I was having a hard time cautioning my di-ck.

We rode past the round-about and then curved to our right, by my right were stores with clothes hung for awareness, Abigail must have told the bike man to stop because I have no idea of where we were going apart from been told it is a computer centre.

I came down and looked around me to find a car approaching from behind.

The driver of the taxi shouted at me aggressively, I looked away and discovered that I was earlier standing before car park entrance.

Two girls sat on the same chair one of them lapping the other, they were both fair and beautiful but the one carrying the other was prettier.

Shy Abigail became something else when we met those two that were sitting together, they started from school to other stuffs. I had to remind her that I haven't register for the computer lessons before she reluctantly asked me to follow her..

The one I overheard Abigail calling Franka asked her, she had her eyes on me all along. Naomi will pluck them off if she is nearby.

We met a young man who Abigail addressed as Sir Chike who later carried out the necessary registration and asked me to resume tomorrow, I proposed 4pm to 6pm so that I can be coming with Abigail.

The turn of those who came around 2pm is already up, I couldn't wait for two hours to go home with Abigail. I decided to leave after informing her, Franka asked what my name was with a cute smile that made her friends chide her.

I told Abigail and her friend to leave my wife alone and told Franka my name, we all laughed at the dry joke and I left.
I never bother to ask Abigail way home, I decided to use my instincts.

I just knew heading to the stream which is where the tarred road am about to cross leads to is my way home, I entered the park and saw many taxi loading passengers.

I looked around and sighted two entrance one at the other end were shade for passengers was provided, it served like hall that has small entrance that led to the backyard of the car park.

At the other end is a wider entrance that cars exit mostly, I walked towards that one and came out of another tarred road.
I took my right and then got to another criss-crossed street, I took my left this time and walked upward.

I got to see beautiful young girls wearing things that can make old man behave ridiculous while seeing them on those enticing wears, I got a a space that the tarred road was suspended and find a little shrine with birds on the tree hovering over shrine making sounds.

I stood there didn't know but I felt like I saw a young lady coming out of that place but didn't see her again all of a sudden.

"Wetin you dey look?"

A bikeman who rode past me asked me with Ekpeye dialect, I looked around and saw that people are beginning to turn their attentions to me so I started walking.

I sighted the other guy who nearly fought me the other day when I was with Abigail coming out of a street adjoined to the playground with some friends and his head is bandaged.

"Wey you, stop there!"

I took off and never looked back maybe they actually chased me but I never bothered looking behind.
When I got home my aunt informed me that they have already kept my food in the kitchen, I ate and took my bath.

My phone rang it was a call from my twin brother which I picked the call, he asked if I was fighting with Naomi and I told him is her normal madness to give me two or three days boyfriend suspension.

He told me that she have been trying to reach out to me but my line wasn't going through, whether I blacklisted her number which I didn't remember doing such.

"Try call her, you know she love you"

"I go call her"

I promised before he dropped the call, I dialed her number because I couldn't find it in my contact list anymore.
She picked up the call and started crying, I wasn't able to say anything 'cause Naomi drama queen behaviour have gotten to another new level with the crying feat.

"Victor, you don't love me again" she kept on repeating it crying.

I didn't know what happened maybe I said something or I did something but I felt like I wasn't in control, the called ended didn't know who amongst our two ended the call but when I tried calling her back her number wasn't going through.

During evening Joshua came to my room and told me if I would love to play soccer with the area guys that there is a field in the area in one school compound like that, I wonder why Joshua refused to attend computer lesson with Abigail because he is also writing Jamb with us.

He left after coercing me to say yes, I came out of the room when I heard Abigail's voice greeting someone in the compound.
I stayed at the verandah blockade by protectors and welcomed her.

"Your wife say my greet you"

I could detect jealousy from her voice or I was imagining the unimaginable, I didn't say a word I just smiled at her use of wife remark in place of Franka.

When it was dusk I told my aunt that I will be going out with Joshua, she cared less because she saw me like an adult and was more concerned on judging the actors of the Yoruba christian movie she was watching.

On our way to the soccer field we met a friend of Joshua, he wanted to tell Joshua something but he looked skeptical, Joshua urged him to speak.

"We go site Island this Sunday"

"Sure! With how many angels?"

"I never know but four sure shema wan come on board"

"I go lap plantation later"

Joshua seemed happy about the news even when his friend left the smile on his face was priceless, I tried to get more information about what was giving him so much joy.

�Rosanna’s POV �
I dressed up real good and picked up my hand bag. Today I’ll resume my work. I won’t keep on hiding indoors.

I got out to the sitting to see Tara also ready to go.

Pressed the floor number that I’m heading too and soon found myself in the shooting room.

I am supposed to model for a new industry in town that produces cream.

“Rosa” I heard Tara whisper to me. I took my eyes to where she was staring at and saw one of the biggest industry manager approaching us.

The woman got to us and stopped. “We have been expecting you to show up Miss. Can we grab a cup of coffee now? I have a proposal for you” she offered staring at me and I staring back at her.

**Four hours later**



“So, are you gonna be doing the interview tomorrow?” Tara asked creaming her body.

“Obviously, I have to, the offer is too big to reject” I replied her.

The woman had asked me to become the brand model for their company, the pay is 30 million Dollars.

But it’s comes with the condition that I’ll have to clear things up on air tomorrow, that means I’ll have to agree to everything Mike had said, then I’ll officially become the model. I might end up changing industry.

So, I agreed to it. I wouldn’t dare reject such offer. With that amount of money, I’ll be ranking one of the richest models.

That’s a life time opportunity and I’ll do it.

� Charlie’s POV �
�So, she went to work today?

� Yes Charlie, she came to work and I heard that she is gonna be having an interview tomorrow. I bet she is going to confirm my statement. She has to.

�Okay, thanks for letting me no, i think I’ll be approaching her tomorrow.

�Okay, but be careful,still taking care of things here at the company.

�Yeah.

I dropped the call and sighed. Tomorrow I’ll make sure to see her, since she went to work today, it’s only means she’s ready to get back to her normal life but why isn’t she replying my message.

Is she still that mad? I thought sadly and sighed.

I hopes she gives me a listening ear tomorrow tho.

-Saturday-

“Thank you.” He said.

“And…what will you like to eat?” I asked.

“Jack!” Ethan called as he walked towards us.

The two friends greeted themselves while I excused them.

But I didn’t really excuse them, I was out of their sight but I will hear everything they would talk about.

“Okay…okay…And erm…has she come to meet you after that time you met at the party?” Ethan asked.

“If you leave me, I’ll kill myself.” She said and I just smirked and walked to her room.

I began to search her wardrobe to see if I could see her money that I could steal but I didn’t.

I only saw her ATM and an already signed cheque book.


I did not know her password and, I do not think I have access to the cheque.

Well, I just have to prove that I’m her husband and they should allow me to withdraw it.

I took both and walked back to the living room, I saw her still sitting and crying.

Her phone rang all of a sudden and she placed it on loudspeaker probably for me to hear.

Well, I paused in readiness to hear who was phoning her.

“Sonia!” A male voice came through.

“Brother, I’m not fine.”she reported.


Oh? It’s that weird brother of hers calling her.

” Sorry, guess what? My lips just brushed with the lips of my wife and nothing happened.” I could hear her brother say enthusiastically.

“Are you being serious?” She asked.

“Very serious, talk to you later.” Her phone hung and she stood.

Scott’s POV


I was at the living room pressing my phone when I heard the door open.

I traced the image of the person to a room and I was stunned to see Brenda.

I walked away from her and walked to the car to see how she escaped. I was stunned when I saw the that the glass had been broken.


My days! And it’s my dad’s car for crying out loud.

I barged inside angrily and went to that room that I had left Brenda but I couldn’t find her there.

I walked swiftly to her room in search for her but I still couldn’t find her.

I searched all the rooms in the house but still couldn’t find her.

“What are you looking for that is making you sweat like this?” Bella asked.


“Come and see this.” I said and led Bella to the car that was shattered by Brenda.

“What! Who did this?” She asked.

“The maid of course. ” I replied.

“Did you now see why I said mom should fire her? You disappointed me by even allowing her to follow you out. Just imagine what she did to your car.” Bella said.

“And I can’t even find her.” I said.

.”She must be hiding somewhere in the house, let me find her for you.” She said and walked inside.

About thirty minutes later, I had been expecting Bella to come and give me feedback but I didn’t see her

I considered you too and that’s the very reason you need to agree to it, you might be called out for interviews, you just have to prove to them that you guys are dating.”

“I’ll also be releasing pictures of you two to the internet. I’m sorry this has to happen to you but this is the only way to clear things up. You can go back to your normal life in few days knowing that the looks on people’s face will different” he explained.

“So, you are not giving me a choice, are you? You planned everything yourself, me saying it’s a lie, will it even change anything? I’m sure you’ll still find a way to save your face.”



“I’m sorry Rosanna, I don’t want to do this but if you feel cheated then you can soft things out with Charlie, I’m just doing my job as his manager, he also isn’t aware of all this, I planned them myself because they are the only way to end all these quickly” he retorted.

“So I’ll be going now, please think about it, think about yourself too, I’m sorry for what Charlie did, take care” he concluded got up and left.

“Are you gonna do it? This wealthy people are so irritating, he doesn’t wanna get punished for what he did? He wants to bury it all?” I heard Matthew ask and huff.

“Ros, are you gonna agree to it? It’s kind of hard you no but I also think that’s the only way to save your face,It’s kind of better but he’ll have to go unpunished” Tara added and I sighed.

“I’ll be in my room, for now* I said to them both, got up and left for my room.



“Come on Tara, Charlie will go unpunished, it’s better he gets punished by the law and he’ll learn his lessons, the rumour and all these will die down with time, if you ask me I won’t agree with the m at all. The situation if favouring them too well. He’ll escape prison” I heard Matthew say to Tara as I got into my room.

I sat down on my bed and buried my head in my palm.

I wish to just disappear to where no one knows me. I think that situation will be much better and easier than all these.

�Charlie’s POV �
I heard a knock on the door of my room after some times.

“Come in” I hushed and the door opened revealing Mike.

“Mike?” I called and stood up on my feet.

“Why did you do that? It’s just like betraying her, she’ll hate me even more now for lying” I asked and said.



“Charlie that’s the only way. If you want to continue with your dreams,if you want your daughter Ria to have a bright future then it’s the only way. What do you think will happen when she wants to turn 5 and realizes you aren’t there for her but in prison, if it’s keeps going on am afraid the cops might come back, so Charlie I did you both a great favour” he cooed and sat down in one of the couches.

“What will she do then? Do you think she’ll agree to it?” I inquired.

“Well, you’ll have to keep trying to earn her forgiveness so she won’t misbehave one day, she doesn’t have a choice, she will agree to it” he replied and I proceeded to my bed and sat on it.

“How is Mom and Dad? What are they saying about this?” I asked changing the topic.

“Well, your mom is gonna be coming over here, I forgot to inform you, she wants to make your favorite meal for you, expect her soon” he narrated and got up.

“I’ll get going now, I haven’t gone home since all these started.”

**Few hours later**

I stood behind mom in the kitchen as she cooked.

“Mom, so what do you suggest I do? I can’t let her keep staying mad at me” I inquired.

“You really want to earn her forgiveness?” She turned to me and asked.

“Yes” I cooed.

“You really love her?” She asked again.

“Of course mom, I really do, for me to become happy for you again then she’ll have to forgive me, since you’re a woman then you should no how she feels and no things that can make her forgive me” I said.

“Well, in that situation it’ll take time. It’ll take time for her to heal as a woman but if you keep apologizing sincerely, don’t try bribing her with money or anything since she’s the type of lady that is not crazy over material things, once you keep showing her how sincere you are, she’ll naturally forgive you. Do you think she has some kind of feelings for you?” She explained and asked.

“Um..that’s zero. She doesn’t, but why do you ask?” I answered and asked.

“It’s weird to no a lady that doesn’t like my handsome son, if she has some kind of feelings for you then I bet before next month she’ll forgive you once she sees that sincerity, only if she knows how sincere you are about her but since she doesn’t then it’s fine, it’ll take time tho just keep trying.”

Episode 12

I woke up to the brightness of the room and stood up from my bed to check who was fetching water from the public tap, it was Sample Dem Baba I later came to know as Tony.

I opened the window and greeted him, he switched off the tap and came closer to the window smiling mischievously.

"Na now you dey wake, you be oga kpatakpata" he teased.

I lied that I wasn't feeling too well that is why I woke up late, he started telling me about what the girl he passed me to in his room told him about my manliness, Joshua joined us during his narration.

"You sabi fu-ck na you dey form virgin!" Joshua exclaimed loudly after Tony was done with narration.

I defended myself that what she said wasn't true but both of them had none of it, Joshua started teasing me that I have a horse di-ck. Tony left us saying he will be late to work.

"We go go meet the guy later" I nodded and he left.

I went about sweeping and mopping the marbled floors, washing plates and then ate.
Joshua came later after he was done dressing up, we went together. On our way two rough guys with bags hung around their bodies joined us looking mean along the way.

We didn't talk much as we find our way through the route Abigail and I took the other day that we met with the young man that nearly fought with me, we got to the junction and walked towards the other route leading to park, houses in the main town are not spaced.

One of the guys with Joshua knocked at the door, immediately the door was creaked open they rushed in and jammed the door shut.
I didn't hear any sounds from inside after several minutes they came out and we left.

Joshua and I went home together after he shook hands with the other two guys who departed.

I nodded and we diverted to the route that cut through the road to our house, we walked pass a fruit tree and got to the second entrance of the soil mill.

Fruit trees and apples trees, with mango trees separated houses that seemed to be very old lined behind the soil mill area.
The houses were lined to face the soil mill, the only house different from the others is a flat at the end accompanied with a short fence.

We came out of the road and crossed the tarred road, I watched the large numbers of people at the ATM machine.

"Na free them dey withdraw"

"This one better pass Ecobank"

Someone came out the crowd and met with us, we shook hands and he gave Joshua a bag telling him to give it to Jaja.

-Monday Morning-

I stepped into the river watching as others ran towards it and leapt in then started swimming, I stretched font my arms and leapt inside the river.
I stood up in the river to checkmate the height the water to mine, it was around my belle, someone urged me to swim that I shouldn't be afraid he said so in my dialect, I nodded and used my feet to run deeper inside the river.

We walked home and I told Joshua about what took place in the river but he laughed at me to scorn, he told me that am just scared of water that if I could swim all those fears will leave.

I placed a hand on my waist and leaned on the car close by as I stared at them.
Why are they looking so shocked, huh?

I scoffed and shrugged.

“How did you get to know about the party in the first place?”

“I…I just heard. Okay? And will you stop scolding me and just drive?” I rolled my eyes and he huffed and started the car.

I hummed along with it and from time to time, Leo shot me a stare.

He followed the direction of my finger and scoffed when he found it.

“How on earth do you want me to get it, Mandy?” He picked his words.

“Do you expect me to drive out of the party just to buy some chocolates?”

“N…No” I pouted.
“She has a lot with her. Look. Its more than five. You can just simply ask her to give one to you”.

“Wait….what??” He shrieked.
“What do you mean ask her to give one to me? You expect me to go beg her”

Rose’s POV


I woke up in the middle of the night and saw Ethan by the side of the bed meditating.

I watched him as he squatted like a Muslim cleric, even as his two hands stretched to his knees.

I love Ethan, I really love him. I can’t stand divorce but I need to get pregnant and have my own baby. I can’t keep being like this.

Sometimes, he will say I’ll give birth without us making love just like Mary, the mother of Jesus. Other times , he will say I will give birth to 700 children.


One would have thought he is mentally derailled but he is not, not only is he the CEO of his father’s accounting firm, he’s an auditor general for the state government too.

Someone with a mental problem can not be appointed into such position in the government. When he speaks in the public, he is sound and awesome.

His looks are so gorgeous, I fell in love with him before he even notices me. He had promised that our marriage will be paradise, he promise never to hurt me and to take good care of me always.

Ethan is cool indeed, but romantically, there is a lot of problem around him.

“Don’t worry dad, he is also one of my classmates, I heard he has a crush on me, that’s the only reason I’m attaching his birthday party, I’ll go now” she replied and ran up leaving me staring at her.

“Geez, I can’t believe this, after forcing himself on you, they are tryna cover that fact up? Who do they think they are?” Matthew fled up just after the what CB’s manager said at the national conference room.

“I can’t believe this, he doesn’t wanna go to prison, they are all demons, how could they cover things up this way?” He kept ranting.

I took my eyes to stare at Rosa who hasn’t been speaking much. She has been really quite and only managed to come out from her room this morning.

She stood up from the couch without uttering a word still and left for her room.

“Shit!” I heard Matthew mutter.



“I know what to do” I heard him say again and he vanished.

I took my eyes back to the television and they were already showing other things.

As long as you have money, you can do whatever you like.

I rested my head on the couch properly to think on what to do when one of the doors fled open and Matthew stormed out headed for the main door.

“Matthew? Matthew? Where are you going?” I asked worriedly. He is acting strange.

What is he planning to do?

He got to the door, opened it but paused and didn’t step out.

“I’m here to see Rosanna” I heard that familiar voice and quickly got up.

I ran to the door to see Mike there.



He’s eyes shifted to mine and he released a sigh.

“Tara, I’m here to see Rosanna, we have an important issue to discuss” he stated.

“No, you’re not seeing her, you all are gonna rot in jail, first for raping my sister and second for denying you ever did” Matthew fumed but Mike maintained his expression as if Matthew didn’t just reply him, he was still expecting an answer from me.

“Well…her brother has already replied….”

Joshua waved at me to come to the mouth of the river, I ran over.

I didn't have any computer centre in mind so I had to speak with Joshua about it, I came out in search of him and saw him behind the house pointing torchlight towards his sister who was busy washing plate.

The moment we came out of our street to the tarred road a guy that was older than me came towards making Abigail who was blushing always to frown.

I just remembered I never liked falling sick because I hate being in the hospital, lying down on the sick bed. It feels like I am in a cage

“ Don’t worry you are free to leave anytime you want, this isn’t a prison you know? ”
He said smiling like he knew the thoughts going on in my head

“ W..Why does my legs hurt so bad?.. Why is it all bandaged up? ”
I asked with an almost watery eyes

He sighed then smiled “ You were in an automobile accident BUT you don’t need to worry much, you will be fine, just a little pain it will heal up in no time. Yoi just need to rest and do some little physical therapy but for the mean time you will have to move on wheelchair – it’s only temporary, you don’t need to be afraid or scared cus you will start to walk in no time…”
He kept speaking

“ Accident… Wheelchair?? ”
I muttered then flashes of that black speeding car that appeared from no where…and that name

What’s that name again? That name I heard a voice call… Lee..Lee Chun. Yes Lee Chun

He most be the one that ran me over. I will so kill him!


Just then two men, well teenage boys came in. Both where actually very cute boys but one was way, way more cute. He is also taller and his hair was golden but he was frowning when he entered like someone flogged him or something

“ Hey!..you are awake ”
The less cute one of the two said crouching down to my bed like he knew me before

I stared at me him nervously trying to recollect if I knew him from somewhere_ but how can I? They were dressed in very fanciful and expansive clothes they most be very rich

“ Who are you? ”
I asked glancing at the doctor then back at him

He glanced up at the doctor then back to his friend who seemed unconcerned and was now pressing on his phone… Finally he settled his gaze on me

“ I am Byung-ho ”
He said smiling awkwardly

Byung-ho? Am I supposed to know who that is? I thought within and why is he smiling like a drunkard

I wasn’t smiling one bit, I was just staring at him with a confuse eyes

“ ..Well it’s not like you know me, you see we were the ones that brought you here ”

Oh… Wait a minute, it means they most be most be the ones driving the black car, the car that ran me over

“ Lee Chun ”
I said in low voice and he looked shocked

“ You know Lee Chun?… Of course you do, why am I even surprised, every girl knows who Lee Chun is ”
He said but I really didn’t understand what he was saying. I just wanted him to confirm if he is Lee Chun or he knows a Lee Chun

Turning his head “ Lee Chun, stop pressing your phone and come over here ” he said standing up from the bed

“ It seems she is a fan of yours ”
He whispered in his ear but I heard it

So the blonde one is Lee Chun, I am sure he is the one driving the car… He is the reason for me being in the hospital


Did I say he was handsome? scratch that, erase it completely, forget I even mention that cus I’m no longer seeing a handsome boy standing in front of me

All I can see is a tall, big head fool that almost got me killed and that has turned me into a cripple…

Crouching down, I narrowed my lips for a kiss aimed for her mouth with my eyes closed..

I felt a resounding slap on my on left face that nearly blind my left eye

“ Ahhhh… Ouchh…Ouchhh….eeeee! ”
I screamed out rubbing the palm of my hand furiously on my cheek as the slap was really stinging

“ Are you stupid! Come here! ”
She yelled trying to get off her sick bed to hit me the more

Byung-ho and the hospital staff had to rush and stop her from coming down the bed and injuring herself further

“ Eeeeh… She is crazy! A mad girl… Ehsss… She needs to be tied up ”
I said still in shock that she actually slapped me

“ You are the mad one here, look what you did to me… And where you trying to kiss me? Disgusting! ” She spat

“ No oooon ”
I denied

“ You pervert! ugly creature! ”

“ Huh?… Pervert? Ugly? Creature… Me or him ”
I said first pointing to my friend Byung-ho but Byung-ho gave me a bad stare

“ Sorry ”
I quickly said then point to the doctor instead who made a confused face

“ You!
You! You! You!… Big head! ”
She insulted

And I placed my hands on my head measuring the size of my head

“ My head is not big.. ” I muttered “ You… You.. are going crazy ”
I wanted to insult her back but I didn’t really know what to say as she is quite pretty

She took the pillow and threw it at me “ I will kill you ”
She screamed then the doctor stepped in

“ Okay I think you need to leave ”
He said slightly pushing me to the door

“ Me?… What about him? ” I said pointing to Byung-ho

“ No it’s you, you are clearing troubling her. Please just leave ”
He insisted

“ Troubling? Didn’t you see she is the one doing all the troubling here huh?… Ouchh my cheek is still burning ”
I said but she made silly mocking faces at me

“ Lee Chun please just wait outside okay ”
Byung-ho said and I shook my head in frown

“ I didn’t even wanted to be here in the first place ”
I said as I left….

As soon as Leo left,,my phone started ringing and I checked to discover it was Cassy calling.

“Hey, Mrs Preggy!!” She squealed as soon as I picked up.

“Yeah. Hi” I mumbled,, dizzily.


“Hm. Lazy @ss. You’re still in bed, huh?” She asked and I nodded like she could see me.

“Well, wouldn’t you be attending lectures today? You’re running pretty late” she said

“I….I don’t know, Cassy. I…I feel so tired, my backbone is aching, my waist, head, everything. I can’t even move my fingers” I grumbled and she scoffed.

“Gosh! Mandy, seriously?? And I guess that’s the code for *I’m not attending lectures today, huh?” She asked sarcastically and I nodded again like she could see me.


“Fine” she sighed heavily.
“Have enough rest, okay? I’ll check up on you later”.

“Alright. Bye”.

And she ended the call.

I breathed heavily, dropped the phone beside me and continued sleeping. I was so tired.

Betty’s Pov:
I walked into the office with the files and met him busy with his system – Leo.

I forced s smile as I walked closer until I was standing in front of his table.


“I’m done with the files” I reported and dropped them on the table.

“Oh. Okay” he mumbled, seeming really focused on his system.
Gosh!

“Um….Sir” I called in my usual soft tone.
He still didn’t make any attempt to look at me.

“Do you….need something else?” I asked and that was the moment he spared me a glance.

He definitely knew those words.

“Ugh! Don’t worry, Betty. I’m a little busy right now and don’t need distractions” he replied and returned his eyes to his system in a brisk.

His fingers were moving so fast on the keyboard.


I nodded and turned to leave, but his voice stopped me.

“Get ready by 4 p.m. you’ll be accompanying me to a party” he said and my eyes beamed as I turned to look at him.

“Is it…Williams’ Anniversary party?” I asked and he nodded.

Oh!! Thank goodness. My opportunity could come from here! Yes.

“O..okay, sir. Of course. You can count me in” I replied with a light smile and walked out of the office, returning to my desk.

I waited for Leo at my desk since it was already time for the party.

Finally, he walked out and I stood on my feet.

“No, no. Don’t worry about it. You’re okay” he cut me off and started walking ahead and I followed with a smile.

The anniversary party is actually gonna be a fun party for couples, everyone’s expected to come with their partners and I can’t believe Leo chose me!!

I giggled silently to myself.

There’d be lots of games to be played by couples and I couldn’t imagine playing them with someone like Leo. I’m so lucky, huh?

And….I just hope I can carry out the task form here. I hope I can do it.
I wouldn’t want to get on Dwayne’s nerves again.

We walked out of the reception to the parking lot. But just when we were about going into his car, a familiar person showed up – coming towards us.


She’d come out of a car and looked gorgeously dressed up.

Wait….Mandy

Leo also watched in amusement.

What’s she doing here?

Her big bump pointed to the gown she wore. But she was really cute.

She smiled as she walked and got to where we were.

“Ahh” she exclaimed, happily.
“I guess I came at the right time”.
