~ Bimmy pov~

"What the hell are you saying dad? You've got to be kidding me right now " I half yelled at my father.

"There's no backing out in this bimmy, the contract has been signed ever since you were four years (4)" He said soothingly which annoyed me the more.

"You wanna ruin my life, you sold me for fifteen million " I cried eyeing the fat old man I was told i would marry.

"I didn't know i won't be able to pay back" He says.....

"I'm here for my money or my wife , I don't have time for this family bloody drama" the old man yelled slamming his fists on the small table we have.

"We don't have the money right now and I'm not going to marry an old man like you" I snapped angrily at him.

"How about we take this matter to the court so we can settle it there" the man smirked.

I was boiling inside, I know if he should take the case to court I'll be forced to marry him.

Let me try if I can make a deal with him. I thought.

"We don't need to take it to court but please can you give us some time, I'll refund the money " I blurted out of frustration.

"No, I can't " He said.

"Please just a little time, a month" I said trying to be calm.
"I can't give you up to a month, let's say twenty days" the old man said.

And without thinking twice I said
"Yes".

The man smiled knowing fully well she won't get the money.

~Kathy pov~

"What the heck are you talking about bimmy" I shouted at my friend.
" I needed a way out kath, else I'd have been in that stupid man's house by now" She said.

"Now tell me where you want to get fifteen million in twenty days, you have just fifty thousand in your account and you're looking for fifteen million, let me remember you if you forgot, you don't have a job" I told her

"You have to help me kath " She cried.

"I'm clueless as you" I said throwing up my hands.

"You can't watch me marry that dirty old man,can you? " She asked

And that's it, I can't bear to see her marry a 60 year old man.

"Except you'll meet Fred to help you... your ex lover " I threw the bombshell after being quiet for a while.

"You don't expect me to meet Fred, I mean after all I did?" She said weeping the more.

"You didn't do it intentionally, you did it to save him" I said trying to pacify her.

"I'm helpless " She said.

~Miguel’s pov~


I stared at her picture one more time before turning to look at the lady my mother introduced me to.

“Sit” I ordered coldly.
She didn’t flinch like I expected her to be , instead she took some bold steps towards me,

This girl is playing with fire, I thought inwardly.

She start to ruffle my hair licking her lips like she’s a dog , one thing bimmy doesn’t do.

I miss her.

Bimmy’s image was still formed in my head when I noticed something on my lips.

It was a finger ……..


I looked at the girl with so much hatred, the coldness my gaze held couldn’t be mistaken.

She scurried out of my room immediately.

Why did she have to go?

Why?
Were the questions I asked myself all the time.

I and bimmy were the best couples back then in college, it was just a night that changed everything.

She left with my best friend Alex.

She left me for Alex!

I had broken a vase this time.

If I get the chance today , she’s gonna have a taste of what she did.

Just then my mom barged into my room.

“What monster have you become son” She yelled.
Her yell drew my father’s attention cause he came into my room that moment.

“What’s going on? ” He asked.

“It’s nothing father” I replied sharply.

“He scared the girl I chose for him to marry” my mom spat.

I give you a month to bring a girl else, arranged marriage will be your portion” my father sneered.


I dashed out angrily and drove out.

I was on the high way when my phone rang,

It was an unknown number.

I picked up and a female voice could be heard.

Finally!


I can get to see her after all this years.

On Monday morning I and kath boarded a cab to Miguel’s office in Texas, heavens knows I’m danm nervous.

We waited for his secretary to call him so we can proceed.

“He’s in the office in third floor,you can proceed ” his secretary said with a smile.

We took the elevator to the third floor, I looked around to see if there’s any office apart from the one at the other side of the floor.

Kath held my hands as we pressed a button.


“Come in ” his bold rasp husky voice came through.

My palms became sweaty.

I am greeted with the thin Ray of sunlight that slipped in through the curtains on my opened window this morning..

All this attributes put together, it’s hard to believe that I’m the inheritor of Gilbert’s group of companies but I don’t care…

I went jogging as usual and came back home after an hour but I met my parents home with a stylish looking girl of my age, mum has an extra key so no worries…

“How have you been my son” dad asked like he cared…

“Fine”, I answered sharply…

“Mum, you didn’t tell me you’ll be coming over, that apart, who’s this?” I asked pointing at the girl, who kept giving me seductive stares, her long lashes flickering like the wings of a vulture…

“Oh, she’s Maya, daughter of Mr Wilfred, CEO of Wilfred group of companies, we were thinking you should both hangout” dad said in his usual commanding dulcet voice…

“Dad, mum, I think it’s high time you get this, I’m not a kid anymore, you can’t just bring in a girl and tell me to hang out with her like I’m a kid, I have eyes and I can see, I will choose for myself and besides, she’s not my type” I said irritably and dad slapped me…

“Hubby!!!, Why will you slap him like that” mum hollered loudly…

“How dare he talk to me like that, he’s becoming spoilt, you refused to be the CEO of my company and you are saying you won’t marry Maya for my company and her father’s to work together, it’s not happening, you’re gonna listen to me and take over the company… and this girl, you’re getting married to her!!!” Dad shouted at the top of his voice

I held my hurting face tightly and faced him…

“Now listen, either your company or this stinky face you call Maya, I’m not interested in any of them, I have my life to live and you can’t just order me around!!!” I shouted and ran upstairs…

Brenda’s POV

I walked out of the station proudly, the cops had released me. I have no idea if someone paid my bail or something.


I took a cab to Scott’s residence.

On ariiving, I was stunned to see Scott’s mom at home. She sat at the company of the house with Helen sitting on her lap.

Helen jumped off her lap and ran to me, she was happy to see me. I carried and hugged her to my shoulder.

“I’m happy mom is back.” I whispered to her and she smiled faintly.


I walked to Scott’s mom and greeted her respectfully.

“How are you Brenda?” She responded well to my surprise. I thought she had be angry based on the chaos happening in the house.

“I’m fine ma” I replied.

“I was informed Bella called the cops to arrest you and accused you of battery.”


“Yes ma.” I replied.

“I can’t fire you cause my daughter loves you, I can’t tell Bella to leave neither cause I personally love her and take her as my own daughter. I will be taking Helen away till either of you leaves. ” She said and I turned to Helen.

I will really miss Helen.

Scott’s mom stood.

“You really need to be careful around Bella, she use to be my son’s girlfriend before they broke up. just take things easy with her, she is an easy going girl.” She said.


“Alright ma.” She walked to her car while I escorted her.

“Be careful.” She said lightly as she drove out of the house.

Helen waved at me as the car drove away while I retorted with a smile and a wave.

I walked back to the room and was surprised to see Bella laying her head on Scott’s lap.

Have they perhaps come back together? Maybe Scott’s mom settled their scores.

“Hi Scott.” I waved my hand and he turned to me.

“Has mom left?” He asked.


“Sure…” I said looking at him with so much jealousy. I don’t understand why I’m jealous but I felt like taking that silly head of Bella off his laps.

“Brenda, I thought you would rot in jail, but it’s not bad that you are back.” Bella said.

“Seems you want another trouble between us right?” I asked while she laughed.

“Stupid girl!” She mumbled.

Scott took Bella’s head off his laps gently.

“Why did you take my head off?” Bella asked.

“I only allowed you to place your head on my lap cause mom was around…you know on a norms, I would not allow?” Scott said and I scoffed at Bella.

-At the station-


I sat before two cops in a decent office.

“Mrs. Bella accused you of battery, this is a crime and might land in a six months jail. ” The male cop said.

“How silly are you to believe that…are you saying I can be out there and call you that someone slap me and you will arrest the person…just like that, what a flawed system.” I scolded and the cops exchanged a surprisingly look.

“Tell us what happened between you and miss Bella?”


“Now you are asking reasonable question. This question you ask now should have come first. Do I look to you like someone you can threaten with jail? As her father perhaps bribe you to jail me cause you think I’m poor and helpless, has…” The female cop interruped me.

“Miss Brenda, please answer our question.” She said.

“I’ve even forgotten, remine me?” I asked.

The male cop sighed and said: “Tell us what happened between you and Bella?”


“Why are not referring to her as miss Bella again?” I laughed. “Anyways, I was in a secluded place and she came to disturb me…” I said.

“And what did you do to her?” The female cop asked.

“Nothing, absolutely nothing.” I lied.

The two cops exchanged an incredible look again.

“We will get back to you. ” the male cop said as the two of them stood and walked away.


Scott’s POV

I sat before the cops at the station, they had invited me.

“Were you there when Brenda assaulted Bella?” A cop asked.

“The way you structure your question is trapping. There was nothing like an assault in the first place, please ask the question properly and don’t frame the poor girl.” I replied.

“What happened between the two ladies?” Another cop asked and I explained what happened to them.

How Brenda broke the glass of my car to escape , how Bella was kept by Brenda so she wouldn’t tell me that she has found her and how I get to know and finally find Brenda.

“Looks like nothing serious happened between them?” Another officer said.


Two officers whispered to each other and I was told to leave.

Well, I hope Brenda is lucky to get released today.

Scott’s POV


While at one of the entrance of Helen’s room, I began to hear sounds of someone that was finding it hard to speak out.

I was scared at first thinking it might be Helen. I opened the door to Helen’s room and on opening it, I saw Helen sleeping sound.

I closed the door to her room gently and traced where the sound was coming from. I finally get closer to the place.

I searched around and on bending under the bed, I saw someone there.


I drew the person out and it turned out to be Bella.

“What! Bella, how did you end up here?” I asked as I helped her remove what was use to covered her mouth.

“That…that…” She coughed.

“Take it easy, please…just take it easy.”i said and made her sit.


” That stupid maid did this to me , I found her in this room underneath that bed and as soon as she came out, she sealed my mouth and pushed me under the bed.” She explained.

“Is she still under the bed?” I asked.

“I think she left the room.” She said and the cotton suddenly got opened.

It was Brenda. She was smirking.

“Brenda!” I yelled her name angrily and pretended like I would slap her.


“Slap me now…here is my cheek.” She said turning her cheek to me.

What kind of a maid is this, she did not even have any fear for me.

“Why did you break the glass of my car?” I asked angrily.

“Aren’t you suppose to ask why she tied me there first?” Bella asked me.

“Well…don’t fight yourselves I’ll answer your questions one after the other.” She said and went to sit on a chair that faced where I was standing.

“Firstly, you locked me up inside that car like I’m a baby…no! You don’t do that to a grown up adult. I had to find my means of escape.” She said and I stood akimbo while looking at her confidence.

“Secondly…Bella or what’s your name. I had to keep you so you wouldn’t tell where I hide.” She said.


“Can you hear her?” Bella said to me and stood.

“I’ve had enough of this, I’m telling my dad.” Bella said and called her dad.

Few minutes later, the cops arrived and arrested Brenda.

Rose’s POV


Ethan had informed me that some forensic men are coming home to look into his home.

He was about to be promoted from being an auditor general of the state to an auditor general for the federal government.

One of the criteria he must meet to achieve that is that his family must be at peace with him.

I sat at the living room, dressed in a brown suit and looking cooperate.


Few moments later, the door opened gently and I watched as Ethan led the men to the living room.

I stood up with a welcoming smile on my face.

“Hi Mrs Nathaniel!” One of the men that Ethan had led inside greeted me as he stretched his hand forward.

“Welcome please.” I said as I shook them all.


“Have you sit, if you don’t mind.” I added and the five men sat.

They were all looking corporate. Though , they weren’t as handsome as Ethan but their dressings was really perfect.

“Without further ado, your husband must have informed you about our coming to your house and its purpose, am I right, Mrs Nathaniel?” One of the men asked.

“Very well.” I replied.

“Okay, great. How would you describe Mr Ethan in this marriage you are both in?” A man amidst them asked. He was fat and had a gap tooth. His voice was bricked.


“Well, Ethan is a very good husband. He’s caring and loving. I love him.” I replied as I watched one of them scribbled something inside a book.

“What a nice compliment.” One of them said. “Can you tell us his weakness. Areas you think ; if he can change , it would be helpful to your relationship.” He asked.

I remained mute for a while.

“Sure, he’s shy romantically, he doesn’t make Love with me. I loathe him for that.” I said out loud in my mind.

“You are not talking, Mrs. Nathaniel?” The man asked looking at his colleagues like they were suspecting that something may be wrong somewhere in my marriage.

“Well, Ethan is…close to perfect. Talking about his weakness, it’s hard to find. The love I have for him has even covered up his weaknesses.” I said and two of the men nodded comprehensively.

“Okay, you do not seem to be pregnant yet, can you tell us why?” One of the men asked.


I looked at my stomach and then to Ethan. Ethan starred at me without expressing any emotions.

“It’s God that gives children, at the right time, I will have my own baby.” I said.

I really wish I can spill out the truth and teach this Ethan of a guy a lesson but I’m not a kind of wife that will watch the career of my husband sink.

“Few questions left, Mrs Nathaniel, please bear with us.” The man said and signalled at one of them

He was the slimmest, looks like someone with cancer , I could practically see bones lined up on his neck, he’s really ugly. I could not even stare at him for long.

“Hi Mrs Nathaniel, we would like the both of you to act like couples before us for us to be certain of what you are confessing.” The man said.

“How?” I asked.

“Erm…any display of love. Something like erm…hug, a french kiss and just anything to prove that your marriage is doing just well.” The man said and my heart skipped.

My days! Ethan that has never hugged or kissed me since we get married.

Oh! I love this. Let me see if he won’t hug me now. This is a perfect time to see if his reasons for refusing to hug me is genuine or false.

How can you not want to hug your wife?

“Please!” The slim man signalled to me and I stood.

Ethan stood and walked to me.

I smiled wickedly at him. At that point, I knew he had no choice but to hug me.

I stretched my arms wide to hug him and instead of receiving it , he started to cough.

“Water! Water please.” Ethan said as he bent with his right hand on his stomach.


I knew he was pretending. I didn’t like that. I wish I could punish him for refusing to hug me even at the detriment of his career.

I ran inside to get him water nevertheless and gave it to him. He gulped it in.

He sat on the floor with his head lowered.

“Mr. Ethan. The only time you cough was when you were about to hug your wife, I think something is wrong with your marriage.” One of the men said.

“You might not only loose your federal Job appointment, you might be relieved of your job as an auditor general of the state if you refuse to display love with your wife before us.

The man said and Ethan’s eye widened in shock.

Rose’s POV


I ran to the swimming pool but I couldn’t see the robot. My days! He must have sunk inside the pool.

I dived inside the pool and to my surprise, I saw him at the floor of the pool. I dragged him and brought him up with me.

I helped him out of the pool. His cloth was wet and his eyes were closed.

“Brandon! Are you alright?” I asked but got no response.


“Brandon! I called and he finally opened his eyes.

“Are you alright?” I asked.

“Yes 001.” He replied.

Seems, he has start to malfunction.


“Okay…okay…you need a place to stay to cool down so you can start functioning well again.” I said and walked with the robot back to Ethan’s room.

Ethan sat at the bed and watched as I escroted the robot out.

“Mr. Brandon!” Ethan called all of a sudden and Brandon left my side to my surprise and walked to him.

“I thought you would be dead by now.”Ethan said as he grinned wickedly but Brandon wasn’t speaking.

“Who in the world comes to a man’s house to sleep with his wife, do you see how stupid you are?” Ethan asked while Brandon stood still before him.


I just hope that Brandon will not do anything stupid.

Brandon turned from him and walked back to me.

“If you know what is good for you, leave my wife and get out of my house.” Ethan shouted as I led Brandon to another room.

I helped Brandon to lay on the bed after which I walked back to Ethan’s room.

“Ethan, you could have killed him.” I said.

“You could have killed the s*x d-oll you met at my office if it were a human.” Ethan replied.

“This should not be happening if you act like a man to your wife.” I said.


“I give you everything you want, what else do you want?” He asked.

“I want you to make Love with me.” I said.

“That’s not a big deal , my wife.” He let out.

“So why don’t we just do it now?” I asked.

“Sure.” He said and I just sat still. He had acted like that many times and we would end up not making Love still.

I sat still and he came to sit beside me.

“Like seriously? So you can sleep off again.” I said.

He sighed.

“Can you even hug me?” I asked.

“Hug!” He repeated.

“Mr. Man, you have said that before. Either hugging means love or not, hug me first. ” I said.

He stood up all of a sudden. “Stand up, let’s hug.” He said.

I looked at him for a while and stood.


“Let’s hug.” He said and I stretched my hand wide to hug him only for him to turn away from me and bent like he wanted to back me.

I was appalled.

“What’s that?” I asked confusingly.

“Common baby, climb my back.” He said still bending.

“Do I look like a baby to you? Is that what hug means in your dictionary?” I asked.

Just thinking about that got me having goose bumps,I just can’t imagine my life with Martin,I can’t.

I got in between the both of them and stood facing Martin

I find his offer too tempting,if I left without saying a thing,It would be irresponsible of me and whether I like it or not have made a commitment to martin and have got to fulfil it

I got back to the party and was stopped by busy body sisters

“What were you doing out there alone with the gardener” Lucy said

I was heading into the mansion when I heard someone voice

Could it be Kate but Kate is in the party right?I turned and saw Kate heading to the pool side

I sat on the chair starring at the pool, it looks so beautiful in the night.

“You dont really need to tell me” I said and he starred at me

Well a little intro,am Kate henshaw,the third daughter of Peter henshaw,am 24 years and am what guys will term as average beauty,my sisters are what people refer to as damsel,Angel and gorgeous,am a kind and shy person,my sisters Jessica,Sandra and our last born Lucy,as have said earlier my sisters are what they call damsel,my sisters are always followed by men and am always left out and I dont really mind because working and getting to the top is what really matters to me.

I thought and just then he looked up at my window and smiled, I could see my sister Lucy waving at him but he only smiled at me and that got me blushing something which have never felt with martin,I quickly went to the room……

I saw her by the window,she was starring at me,looking gorgeous as always, I gave her a smile but she went inside without waving as she always did, is it because of her sisters who are with her ?

I thought as I starred at her window,I saw Lucy the last daughter waving at me but I ignored her,I only want Kate greeting and besides what have come over her,she never liked me along with two of her sisters.

I only get along with Kate,Kate who I find isn’t as shallow and classy as her sisters

She is more better than her sisters but she doesn’t know that,anytime I chat with her,she is always saying,she is ugly and that her sisters are more better than her,if only she knew that she is far more better than them and she is not ugly, well to him i find her to be a very beautiful lady.

I walked around the party with martin,greeting the guest invited by mom and his mom.

A fanciful small glass plate was placed on one side of the tray with two chopping sticks lined together close to it

A transplant big jug, half filled with water was also on the tray, two glass cups by it side and a orange juice container was laying flat on it’s belly

All the items in the tray were arranged orderly…

I know all the female servants have c crush on me and this particular maid is quite pretty but not pretty enough to get my attention and even at that. I don’t fancy maids and poor girls

“ Where are you taking this to? ”
I asked with my eyes still staring at the covered bowl

“ I am taking food to the guest ”

“ The one who came with you earlier today, guest room 5. She haven’t had anything to ear since she arrived neither as send for anything to be brought to her

So this meal belongs to the little cripple monkey girl, not that she resembles a monkey – she is quite pretty, really pretty infact but she behaves just like a monkey a wild one at that

I ordered and she did revealing the contains of the bowl

The medium size bowl contained. Samgyeopsal ( flat slices of grilled pork belly, garnished with lettuces leaves, garlic and chilli paste )


One of the smaller bowl contained Korean Ox bone soup ( simmered soft Ox bones with flesh. Mostly served alongside Seolleongtang )

And of course the last bowl contained Seolleongtang ( few light noodles, slice of beef and green onions )

These are all quite tasty dishes and as I stared at the food a devilishly idea came into my mind, a sort of pay back

I’m thinking of poisoning the food, well not a poison that will kill her, I’m no murderer but I’m thinking of a poison that would make her have running stomach

Yes that would teach her a good lesson…

I was loving my idea but then I thought, what if by poisoning her I now worsen the situation of her leg then she will have to stay longer in the house course I know she would surely want to run to the toilet like her life depends on it even if her legs are damage with the type of running stomach I’m planning to give her.

I am starting to think poisoning her food isn’t such a good idea. But what else can I do to her to teach her a lesson, something that will make her suffer??

Think… Think… Think

I smiled as what I think is a great idea came to my head

“ Come with me to the kitchen ”
I said to the female servant walking ahead of her and she started following me at my back


But I stopped when I noticed she had left the trolley containing Ji-a’s meal

Frowning “ Bring that with you dummy! ”
I said swearing

“ Sorry Master Lee ”
She apologized and quickly run to the trolley wheeling it along….

We got to the kitchen and it was time to put my ideas in place

“ I want you to add more pork into the bowl, infact change the bowl into a much bigger size and fill it up with pork meat

Also grill a full chicken, add more noodles. Don’t forget the beefs….. ”
I just kept giving orders and she did as I asked

30 minutes later, everything was set

The tray was now completely filled with lots of different dishes as if a banquet was being held

“ Now I want you to take this to her, serve it to her. And listen carefully to what I’m about to say now

You most tell her she will have to finish every single dish on this tray you understand. It’s a most she finish everything. Tell her it’s a house transition she most do ”
I said but the maid was just looking at me really confused

“ B..But there is no way she can finish all this, no one can finish this I doubt if even three grown men can eat this much ”
She said and she was really annoying me

“ Did I ask for your opinion. Just do as I asked ”
I barked and she flinched

“ Sorry Master Lee… I am on my way ”
She said then started wheeling the trolley out of the kitchen..

Cripple monkey girl would surely have indigestion for sure. I smiled devilishly as I followed the female servant….

I stood by the door away from eyes view when the maid went into Ji-a’s room with the large tray of food

They talked for a while and she passed the message to her that she had to finish everything on the tray before she came out

“ I did what you asked of me Master Lee ”
She said smiling like she wants some kind of reward for that

“ Okay, then off you go
Go, go, go ”
I said in a low tone gesturing for her to get out of my sight which she did with a sad face

I didn’t want that monkey cripple girl Ji-a to know I was hiding by the door, cus I want to peep at her while she eats. I want to see her suffer

I am sure the sweet food will soon turn to a real punishment. She most be crying inside thinking how she would finish all those dishes…

The door was open slightly and from there I watched her where she was seated on the bed and the tray of food by her side..

But I was kinda surprised when I saw she had a happy look on her face, she was even excited

She started rushing all the food at once especially the meats. chicken, pork, beef and ox ribs

Licking the paste off her lips while making a seductive exclaim that sounded more like moans to me

“ Ahhh… So sweet… Ochhh… Yummy… Oh yeah ”

It was really shocking to me as how she was devouring the whole dish like they were air and the sounds she was making plus the way she was licking her lips were making me feel both hungry and Hot at the same time

“ What kind of girl is this ”
I muttered

I did this to punish her but it’s clear she is enjoying herself instead. I am the one punishment myself here by watching her eat cus I don’t understand what I am feeling really. I feel so weird

“ oh yeah… Sweet ”
She exclaimed with her mouth full of chicken fresh

After swallowing she licked her lips again in a seductive manner and it was like torture for me watching

I couldn’t continue watching again so…. I opened the door wide

“ What do you think you doing huh?
Stop licking your lips right now… And what’s that annoying sounds you making with your mouth! ”
I yelled at her and she just stared at me looking confused

My jaws dropped as the entire hall went dead silent.

There was a triumphant smirk on Leo’s face as he continued walking towards the stage. My heart suddenly changed its tone of beating.

He walked to where I was, eyes glued on me, faces close to each other.

I kept my eyes glued on him, still finding it shocking.

“I have to do this” he rolled his eyes, like he was trying to explain the kiss or something.

He held my waist, face bent.

I sat quietly in the moving car as Leo drove us home.

My hands were on my chin, dumbstruck and still reminiscing on the previous moments.


“Seriously Mandy,; why would you let them turn you into a bait?” Leo turned slightly to look at me and asked.

I was sitting next to him on the driver’s seat.

“It wasn’t my fault, okay? The light had chosen me. Was I supposed to just protest or something?” I rolled my eyes.

“You don’t play such games, Mandy. You don’t. I hate anything that has to do with bid”.

“Well, I love it”

“And I’m telling you I hate it. You need to listen to me”.
He was almost raising his voice.

“Seriously? And why should I listen to you?” I scoffed.

“Well, because I’m your husband and I have the right to tell you what to do!” He snapped and my eyes nearly left its sockets.
.woah!! Seriously??

He seemed to restrain himself as soon as he made that statement.
Hmph.

“So, you don’t want anyone to kiss me, huh?” I asked with a sarcastic smile.
“Why?”


“I was just trying to protect you, okay? Nothing else” he rolled his eyes.

“Really? Protect me from being kissed or what?’

“Most of those men are brutal kiseers. They’d have ended up biting your lips or something” he replied and I almost laughed.

Gosh! Seriously

I shook my head and turned away from him, taking my eyes to my phone. But I could notice him throw me a glance.

After a while, I felt soo pressed.

“Ah! I need to pee, Leo. Stop the car”,I grumbled and he flinched.

“Whaat? Are you kidding me, Mandy?? Stop which car? In the middle of nowhere?” He asked.

“Come on, please! I might pee on my p*nties or something. I’m so pressed!”

“Hey; hey; you need to hold on, okay? We’ll be home soon”.

“I can’t hold it, Leo. And the house is still very far. Please!” I cried and slapped his shoulder and he stopped the car.
Geez!

“Seriously, Mandy? This is….”
I didn’t let him finish up before I opened the door and stepped out of the car.
The area was dark and bushy and I moved closer to the bushy line so I could pee there.

Leo came out of the car as well, his eyes on me

“Hey! Take your eyes away. I wanna pull down my p*nt” I said strictly and he scoffed and looked away.

I made sure he wasn’t looking, then I lifted my gown, pulled down my pant and lowered my legs a little.

Ahh! It felt so good releasing all the content.

I couldn’t bend completely as a result of the big bump in front of me.
But, I still enjoyed it.

When I was done, I stood straight and was about fixing my pant when I felt something touch my leg.

“Argh!!” I shrieked and jumped away.
Oh my! It was just an insect.

“What is it??” I heard Leo ask and turned to see him staring at me.

My pant was still down.

“Hey!?! I thought I told you to look away??” I yelled at him and he quickly turned away.

“I…I just wanted to be sure you’re safe, okay? I didn’t mean any harm” he replied grumpily while I quickly put on the pant.

I brought the gown down and walked towards the car.

“Did you see anything?” I asked angrily and he looked at me.

“Anything like what!” He scoffed.

“Don’t play with me,Leo. I’m serious” I put up a strict face and he chuckled.

“Even if I did, it isn’t gonna be the first time, Mandy. Besides, you’re my WIFE” he said the wife sarcastically and entered the car.

I stood muted for a few seconds, trying to stomach the shock.

Did this guy actually….

“Come on Mandy!” He called from the car and I fisted my hands and joined him in the car.

We didn’t say much to each other in the car and after a long ride, we finally got home and I couldn’t be more excited.

I sighed as I walked out of the car with Leo, my hands on my tummy.

“Why do I smell pizza around?” I asked, stiffening my nose.

“Please Mandy; reject every spirit of pizza. Its not allowed. I’m as tired as f*”k right now and just wanna have some sleep” he said pleadingly and I rolled my eyes.

Whatever.

We got to the entrance of the house and was about walking in when the door suddenly opened, revealing a young pretty lady, smiling widely

She seemed so excited.

“They’re back!!” She shrieked, her face turning pure red.

Episode 14

I asked many questions but he kept telling me I shouldn't worry that he will tell me everything, we got to the field together and five boys preparing to start playing the ball brought by a boy who wore jersey up and down.

He sat closed to the block at the end closed to the classroom wall, immediately we arrived I realized the familiarity betwixt those guys and Joshua, probably his beautiful sister made him popular amongst peer group.

Another huge guy with muscles everywhere arrived with his growing goatee and dark face that made him look somehow funny, Joshua challenged the boy with the ball for team selections.

I was picked into Joshua's team A, while we were playing others arrived and started forming sets.
The muscular guy in Team B played like wrestler, I was about kicking the ball and run pass him when he caught me with his hand and nearly toppled over me, I had to fall back and my men complained on my behalf.

No matter how we complained the muscular guy didn't change his pattern of stopping play and harsh tackles, everyone avoided him like plague.
We were lucky we were not removed because our man at the back was dispossess by the opposition when he wanted to test his skills.

We netted after six counts of overs and the next set that played like paid team threw us out like we didn't matter, we were outplayed in all ramifications that our team members started blaming ourselves.
I sat quiet and watched the now Team D humiliated and sacked before we could blame ourselves further.

It looked like the best players were all hand-picked into Team C because the synergy and their understanding is next to none, the muscular guy angrily slapped his fellow player for 'causing the removal goal.
The boy he slapped brother shot the ball at him but he dodged and the ball flee to hit a bikeman who rode pass the muddy road that separated the school compound, the gutter situated closed to the security house separated the road from the school while the muddy road separated the school from other ancient government buildings on the other side of the road.

The two brothers stood tall against the muscular guy who was about to fight the both of them while some of us were concerned about the ball, the bikeman parked his bike and went to pick the ball.

"No vex, him no mean am to shoot you the ball" we begged in unison standing a feet before the gutter to avoid triggering the angered bikeman who looked like a furious hungry lion looking for who to rain all his frustrations on.

He picked the ball and gave to us surprising us, we all thanked and hailed him.
I looked around and realized Joshua had disappeared all these while, the muscular guy was removed and replaced by someone else.

The ball continued with another player replacing Joshua, we played till it was getting dark and I looked around for Joshua but couldn't find him I left on my own.
I was walking home when I overheard noise coming from the brothel along my way home.

"Ashawo, see the way your toto wide"

"Shame nodey catch you, as you big like this fu-ck you no sabi, carry toothpick say na prick, oga if you no pay me ehnn!"

"I no cu-m, why I go pay you?" I could hear the manly voice protesting, I walked slowly to hear more.

Joshua disrupted all my plans of listening to the conversation when he appeared smelling funny, I asked him where he had been.

"No fear, I dey with you"

He responded asking me what happened in the field when he left, I told him everything and he made me understand what happened today is normal, but fight have never happened in that field.

He began talking too much and I suspected probably he had smoked, we got into the compound and saw Sample Dem Baba with another girl opening his protector to bring her in.

I kept wondering where he got those girls he changes like clothes, the only girl he had brought in several times is a girl he called his girlfriend which I pitied that she might have HIV from this pu-ssy hunter she was dating.

We exchanged greetings and hailed the new young scared girl as our wife to relax and nerves before he opened the protector and took her inside for slaughtering.

Joshua departed for his apartment and I went inside to meet my aunt and her son glued to the TV, I asked if there was light since and she told me they took and brought it back a minute ago that I should go to the kitchen and take my own share of the potato chips she fried.

I went to the kitchen and made a cup of tea to make the chewing interesting, after eating I took my bath and creamed my body and relaxed on my bed.

I started hearing loud voices from the compound, I wore my short and went out only to find Sample Dem Baba begging his girlfriend who was screamer cheater.
The whole scenario looked funny due to the boxer he wore and Papa Chinedu was telling the other women in the compound that Sample Dem Baba has a public manhood that needed to be sacrificed to appease the gods.

His girlfriend left and Sample Dem Baba rushed inside his apartment, I came out from watching from the window to meet Joshua who was standing outside.

"Your niggar don loose that fine babe oh!"

"For where? leave that thing, their two be like 5 and 6, nothing fit separate them, she don catch that guy tire"

Joshua eyes were red and I wondered why it is so, I asked him about his eyes he told me it is normal.
Some minutes later Sample Dem Baba came out with the other guy and discharged her.

They both exited the compound together, Joshua told me he will be going after his main babe.
I went inside after the dust have settled, later in the night that there was no light.
Joshua and I with his little brother sat around the soakaway closed to the Tank and talked, Abigail joined us later and said nothing.

We were discussing when Sample Dem Baba came in with his girlfriend.

"Werey people, make this two people stop all these their drama marry jorh!"
He exclaimed.

Everything seemed to be magic to me, she just caught him cheating and now they are together.
Sample Dem Baba called both of later to send us on an errand.

"Ona fit help me buy frozen chicken?"

"No wahala, Baba tell us the way na, how you take they change babes like clothes?"
Joshua asked.

"Na one dating app oh, Michat. I get luck my madam for don close my chapter, abeg make ona no waste time oh"

Joshua and I left discussing about the Michat hookup application, I made up my mind to download it and run some shits with it.
We bought the frozen chicken and returned to hear mo-ans coming from the Sample Dem Baba room, we had to take the frozen chicken with us and came back later to check if they are done.

His girlfriend was the one who took it from us when we came back to knock, she tied wrapper around her body.
She is very beautiful I wonder why she want to die on top her cheating boyfriend matter, na their love sabi.

I went to bed late after praying with my sister and her son, I tried Naomi number but wahala be like bicycle so lai lai the number no gree connect, I slept off thinking about my lover.

I find myself naked before the river and the moon standing just at the horizon brightening the area, at the shore I was standing I could make out images.
I started hearing roaring sounds of engine, suddenly I saw speedboats coming towards the shores and voices were talking behind me, I didn't see their faces before I felt rooted to the spot.

The speedboats were anchored on the shores and I saw all kind of guns inside it, I woke breathing heavily and checked the time it was 4am, I felt cold.

Through out the day I did my morning routine and played game with joshua whenever PHCN remembered us, I went home when my aunt returned and cooked for Noon.

I got ready for computer lesson before 4pm and went together with Abigail who was acting cold, we didn't say a word to each it was an awkward moments walking together, she broke the silence.

"Do you like my friend?"

I woke up early and prepared for the interview. I don’t no but I am kind of really nervous about the whole thing.

Imagine facing the cameras and lying to the whole world about myself, something I had to suffer for.

But It’s fine since it’ll help me move on and forget it ever happened.



I applied little makeup and put my hair and every other thing in order.

I carried my clutch and walked out into the living room to see Matthew and Tara. They were both gonna be following me there in case of crazy fans or reporters.

“Are you guys ready?” I still inquired to be sure.

“Yes, let’s go, it’s almost time for the interview” Tara responded, headed for the door.



We followed after her and got out. She locked the door while I unlocked my car and was about getting in with Matthew when a familiar car drove into the compound.

I quickly hastened my pace and got into the car not ready to be seen by whoever drove in.

I waited for the car to park so I could drive out but then the car stopped right at the entrance which means I can’t drive out.

“Hey, get out of the way, can’t you see you’re blocking the entrance” Tara yelled staring at the car.



The door opened and surprising the least person I expected to see came down from the car.

My heart stopped beating as I stared at him from the car.

The last time I saw him was that night,that night it’s all happened.

He has already seen me and he was looking directly at me.

Tara didn’t say a word again.



Matthew quickly came down from the car but I couldn’t, I remained there feeling so uneasy.

I shouldn’t be feeling this way, he doesn’t look bothered or anything so why should I feel this way? I thought trying to get my head straight but then the memories of that night flashed at me.

“What are you doing here Mr…what name should I call you? The rapist or..the liar?” Matthew mocked walking closer to him but he pretended as if there was no one else there aside me.

“Matthew you should stop, stop it” Tara warned Matt.

Matthew made to hold Charlie’s shirt probably angry that Charlie pretended not to hear a word he has said when his car doors opened and two of his guards stepped out and made to drag Matthew away from Charlie but Charlie stopped the guards then whispered something to Matt.

In anger Matthew left Charlie and moved away from him.

Charlie started approaching my car , I fixed my hand in the door handle and pushed it open then stepped out of the car.



He ran his eyes all over me.

“Ros…”

“What do you want?” I fired at him before he could complete his sentence.

“I just wanna talk” he replied calmly.

“I don’t wanna talk, I have an important place to be” I rolled my eyes at him and said.

“Please..I won’t take your time, look at your left and right, there are people actually watching us, I no where you’re going, don’t give them another impression, I promise I won’t take your time” he cooed and I looked around to see some of the house occupant staring at us from their windows and from the sides.

“Five minutes” I groaned, opened the car and got in.

He got in from the other side.

“Be fast, you still have the nerve to threaten me with people watching us Charlie, you are so unbelievable” I half yelled and folded my hands.

I heard him sigh.

“I just wanna apologize actually” he started.

“I don’t need it, I don’t need you to feel pity for me, I don’t expect that from you” I retorted.

“Why? You think am a demon? Of course I have a heart and you no what happened, I was drunk, I never meant to hurt you, I could actually hurt myself than to hurt you” he continued.

“Liars” came out of my mouth before I could hold myself.

“I don’t no how but I wish I can actually open my heart for you to see that I’m being honest here. I’m not joking or lying about the fact that I love you and I still do but right now all I ask is for your forgiveness, I have learnt my lessons too, I won’t ever fall in love again to avoid making the same mistake. I have never forced myself on someone before, I never planned to, you gat to forgive and believe me Ros, I’m being really sincere and I could prove it to you welther you give me the chance or not. I will prove to you that I never meant to hurt you, I regret hurting you that time, I will prove that I have never loved any lady the way I love you so…”

“Get out, your five minutes are over” I cut him in.

“B…”

“You promised, out!! Enough with your stories, the truth is I don’t wanna have anything to do with you anymore Charlie Bran, it’s enough” I looked at him and said.

“Okay,I’ll leave but before I do so, take this” he said and dropped a card beside me. I hope to see you there, he concluded, upended the car and got out.

Then he went straight to his car and left.

When I saw that he has finally left, I let out the tears that I have been holding. I didn’t wanna cry in front of him.

His a jerk! I hate him for making things this complicated.
