He can also do transfer and that is it. Stop your hatred on Obi. Did Ibu make public how much the fundraiser yielded? Or you believe Reno that billions was raised. Or you forgot Ibu also supported Tinubu, before he later started supporting Obi. Has Tinubu made his own donations? Note I never knew about the fundraising. However, the sickness of Ibu from what's available in the media is more than one year. It could be a chronic disease that has come up now with some complications. |

The Last time out
Vincent Enyeama went from Enyimba straight to Korea 2002 world cup
Even Ezenwa was very superb until uzoho and Oloye came with their calamity
At present Reno stars Kayode Bankole is the best in Nigeria
Can we give him or even Rivers United Sochima a chance I suggested this... Unless corruption and bribery is the reason Okoye is still being invited. With Uzoho's errors, home-base goalkeeper should be next on the goalpost. |

By the way, I like that Peter Obi is campaigning for Agu Otu Aka of LP. That's adding flavour to his campaign. Is he campaigning for him? Can you share any of Obi's post or tweet supporting this? It is said that the 3 parties, APC, PDP and LP, featured the same type of candidates and former Senators in Imo State. Is there any other candidate of good character in this coming election apart from the 3 mentioned? |

AImiron: OGC Nice is a French professional football club based in Nice, France. Nice is currently second placed in the Uber Eats Ligue 1.
OGC Nice have suspended Youcef Atal until further notice after a social media post regarding the ongoing situation in Gaza.
Mainz suspended Anwar El Ghazi on Tuesday
The is the club’s official statements:
Upon his return from the national selection of Algeria, where he has been since October 9, the leaders of OGC Nice convened and exchanged with Youcef Atal. OGC Nice hears that the player acknowledged his mistake by quickly removing the sharing of the publication and offered his written and public apologies.
Nevertheless, given the nature of the shared publication and its seriousness, the club took the decision to immediately take the first disciplinary sanctions against the player, prior to those that could be decided by the sports and judicial authorities. As such, the club has decided to suspend Youcef Atal until further notice.
We would like to emphasize that the reputation and unity of the OGC Nice result from the behavior of all its employees, which must be in accordance with the values defended by the institution. As in its message last Friday, where OGC Nice recalled its firm commitment to peace prevail over any other consideration.

SoNature: After Hitler caused the Holocaust, it's interesting to see that Germany is pro-Israel and its clubside is taking actions to punish El Ghazi who supports Israeli's sworn enemy.
The truth is that there's no life without politics and the day we separate politics (not the type of evil politics we play in Nigeria) from life, we stop living. Germany have moved forward. They have apologised. They have accommodated more refugees than other top EU countries They feed the refugees, give them allowances. Whatelse should they do? As it is, they need to condemn any action that seems to support or encourage terrorism. Their land needs to be protected |

DoTheNeedful: If PDP is serious about reconciling with the SE, they should zone 2027 to the SE. That region has been very loyal to the party, but they have always been using and dumping them.
From what I see, this "reconciliation" attempt by PDP is the handwriting of Atiku (the perennial contestant) trying to position himself for 2027. I'd say they better merge with other parties to form a new party, if the aim is to win more states in Nigeria come 2027 and to stand a chance for presidency |

obi58: How many Nigerian players who grew up abroad are willing to switch allegiance to SE so easily?
Eberechi Eze? Bukayo Saka? David Alaba? Akanji? Lesley Ugochukwu?
I'm still asking name the quality GK alternatives that should be in the team that have not been invited? Thise ones have good prospects in the countries they chose Sorry to say this, Maduka Okoye has no future at all in the German national team as a goalkeeper. Do you know.how many world class goalkeepers Germany have, and yet they don't make it to.the national team? Do you know.how.many goalkeepers Neuer blocked off, and are only known in their clubs as German goalkeepers (regualr starters)? Now you talk of Okoye who is warming bench in his club Maybe Nigerians don't know how big a country they are. Okoye was able to move to Rotterdam after being featured in the Nigerian team. Featuring in Nigrian team adds marketing value to any player |

obi58: Plenty English. We all watch club football week in week out. Mention one deserving GK better than the ones in the team that have not been invited to the national team. Whoever that won golden glove for the local league or the goalkeeper of the winning club should have been invited and used. The goalkeeper is a regular in his club, and not Okoye that has bot even.made one appearance this season. What is he doing in Super Eagles team (continue bench warming? Get more caps? ) I said it in an earlier post, this is the type of match you feature our local talents in goalpost or defence. Our forward is okay |

Robertbh: One good match doesn't make Ozoho a very good goalkeeper. What have both keepers done for club and country? Both are sitting on the bench in their various clubs. We need a good consistent goalkeeper we can rely on I know Okoye has not made even one appearance this season. Is Uzoho not a regular in Cyprus? Are they hoping to use Super Eagles for real match training? A regular starter in clubside should be invited as soon as possible |
Sports › Re: Mozambique Vs Nigeria; Int'l Friendly (1 - 3) On 16th October 2023 by Cmanforall: 7:46pm On Oct 16, 2023 |
obi58: Okoye is a good GK. I commend him for his patriotism having played all his life in Germany and deciding to pledge his allegiance to Nigeria without anybody coming to convince him to do so! He played as 1st choice in Holland before making a wrong move to England which he is trying to recover from. Let's keep the faith in our young keepers. At least until we identify superior options.
I really wish we still had Carl Ikeme. He was superb but unfortunately cancer struck. Thank God he is still alive today. What did I just read? Someone who is 22 years and debuted for Nigeria at the age 18 (in 2019) has played all his life in Germany? Please which life? His career was just starting, and Nigeria is a stepping stone. He wouldn't make it to the German national team. Let us stop all these please. He needs Nigeria to boost his.career. He will be seen at the international stage (through World Cup etc.) The fact is he didn't make use of the opportunity to shine, because that will what will attract bigger clubs. Now he's in a club and has not made any appearance this season, yet we are expecting Super Eagles' matches to be the place to train. He has no business in the team. We better use regular club starters (home or abroad) than bench warmers on our goalpost. BTW, we may not know his connection with Rohr, both are Germans and Rohr brought him in. His mother's name is not on his page. |

obi58: I'm not holding brief for the NFF but they have a technical department and I'm sure they have analyzed all the goalkeepers in the domestic league and provided all the needed info to the coaching crew to make an informed decision on the best keepers for the team.
Don't get me wrong. For a long time I was a fan of Ayenugba, Vanzekim and more recently Ezenwa so I agree we may have some good keepers in the League. However I believe the technical crew has assessed their level and made their recommendations. I get you. Having contacts with some Super Eagles players revealed some sh*tty things that go on there. Simply put... 'money and connections', technicality comes up when we watch them. Unfortunately even if they analyse, which I doubt, their palms need to be greased before you are featured. Unless the player (this time goalkeeper) makes it to a top club abroad, there will be no hesitancy to feature such a player |

obi58: Talk is cheap. Provide better alternatives to Uzoho and Okoye. Whoever that was the goalkeeper that won National league should be in the team. This is how you identify talents. Or is it because these ones are playing ('benching')abroad? Okoye (who is German and was introduced to super Eagles by German coach, Rohr) and he has not made appearance for his club this season? Uzoho in Cyprus?

oloriooko: As long as Uzoho is in goal for 9ja, we are minus 1, i remember the look Ndidi gave Uzoho when he scored for Saudi, it was a 'you are useless' look Well victor boniface has come to stay in that team strengthening our attack but i dare say i cannot see any impressive technical input Paseiro has brought to this team walahi, he's just lucky with the crop of players available now An avenue to loot. He agrees to the corrupt NFF terms. The money Nigeria use to hire all these 'unknown' coaches, can actually bring in reputable foreign coach (if we want to use a foreign coach). But the problem is, those reputable foreign coaches won't dance to NFF tune because of their image. Imagine Morinho as Super Eagles coach... By now you'd be seeing some footballers you never knew and most of these 'known' won't make his team, because he won't accept their bribe over their performance |

hkidola00: national teams are not meant for improving or building..the best are chosen..your not good your out I like how you said it bluntly! Improve in your clubs so as to be selected in the national team. Iheanacho was once dumped in Super Eagles team when he wasn't doing well... but after the Leicester game against Manchester United, where he played very well, he was called back to the national team. There are players being invited to Super Eagles make me believe that maybe the coach or some highranking NFF staff do collect bribes to feature these players. If you're not good to be in the first team or a regular sub in your club, you have no business playing for national team, rather find a new club that will give you regular playing times so as to show what you've got. Super Eagles should not be used for trials |
