officialwdhtv: Warri show: I informed the organizers months ago that I will not make it but they continued to promote the show using my name- Davido says as he continues to slam Amaju Pinnick
In a series of posts on his Snapchat, Davido continued to attack the former President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Mr Pinnick. He said he wants to donate double of the money paid to him to any football charity organization.
It was reported earlier that during the show which held last Friday, October 6, Mr Pinnick called out Davido for failing to perform at the show despite receiving full payment of an excess of $94,600. While speaking at the show, Pinnick revealed that they booked a private jet for $18,000 for Davido to perform at the event in Warri, Delta State, but he didn’t show up. He went on to compare the singer to Burna Boy who he described as the biggest Nigerian superstar.
According to the sports executive, Davido shouldn’t feel he’s “big” as Delta state has also contributed to the entertainment sector in Nigeria. He noted that Burna Boy is partly from Itsekiri in Delta State. He also pointed out that actor Richard Mofe-Damijo and comedian Alibaba are all from Delta state too.
DominusPrime: Up till now not a single before and after picture. Only things like “I was there when it happened”. But if you ask if he or she saw the missing joystick they won’t be able to answer.
It's a scam
And the accused will receive serious beatings that his explanations will not be heard You'll hear something like 'touch him again so his manh00d will return' 'Touch him!' All these to make sure he touches the guy involved and then he will say his manh00d is back
Tracka: The government employ you to teach, you refuse to go there and you are here putting the blame on the government?? I understand that you people are robots, designed to criticize everything..... that is why Nigeria is not moving forward.
Shut up!!! You and who is criticising anything or blaming. If you lack comprehension, then go back and retrieve all your school fees
Tracka: seriously Osinbajo really tried when he was heading the program, no one was owned and the operation was smooth including school feeding program.... suddenly, Cabals moved the program to humanitarian ministry, that is where embezzlement started. is so bad
Rapmoney: Rip to her. So sorrowful. But what type of negligence is this?
Sad. RIP
If indeed this is true, it is high level of negligence.
Wait...
The woman spent 14 days in the hospital No appendectomy was done...
Is the hospital actually managed by a medical doctor?
Why send a patient for an MRI and didn't first even do an Ultrasound scan?
OLAADEGBU: Sahara Reporters After a long while, she gassed and was discharged by the hospital not minding that her abdomen was still heavily swollen. That at home the pain in her abdomen became even more unbearable whereof she went for a check-up on the hospital's clinic day and met a medical doctor on duty who insisted and recommended that MRI scan be conducted on her to clearly ascertain the position of the surgical operation conducted on her. The recommended MRI scan was later conducted on her at Lily Hospital in Benin City, Edo State and the result was shocking, to say the least. A copy of the MRI scan is herewith attached for your perusal.
ganisucks: CSU staff member: "It is a Nigerian thing to forge stamps of organizations”.
I don't want to believe someone actually said this. If true, Atiku's lawyer should have slapped him. How dare you say something derogatory and racist like that.
The deposition is currently ongoing, and things so scandalous are being leaked. God help us.
Derogatory- Yes Racist- No
Every negative statement from a White man about Nigerians/Blacks must not be linked to racism
Nairaland1stson: I have suspicion that someone wants to use my account to launder money. A lady visited my shop demanding to purchase goods worth millions of naira she was so much in a hurry or desperate for someone who intends to perform such transactions. She was accompanied by a man she claimed to be her sick husband, two kids, and another young man. She claimed she needed to perform the transaction as soon as possible so she could travel down to a neighboring state for her husband's treatment.
There was no much negotiations as it seemed she was the one begging for the goods to be sold to her. After confirmation she said I should bring my POS machine so she could make a transfer, I already had suspicions on her so I told her i didn't have one and besides who would want to perform transactions worth millions of naira with a POS machine mode of payment. I suggested that she heads to the bank or make a transfer from her mobile app, which she shrugged off immediately like it was not even an option.
The young man with her insisted I get a POS vendor so that the transaction can be made which I declined and told them that there were many around the vicinity that they can go get one if they wish to. The young man left and returned a few minutes later with one, when they arrived the woman suddenly said she was scared and needed to invite the person who referred her to our place. She called this person and he arrived shortly, he was someone known to us in the past but not well known. She then requested that I get another POS vendor, which I suggested that they should get back the previous vendor they invited earlier. The young man went back again and returned with the vendor. The woman gave the vendor a debit card, which the vendor tried pulling the whole money at once, but it didn't go.(exceeded limit) The POS vendor then proceeded to split the money and it was successful. So she was only able to make part payment for the goods.
They were about to leave when I reminded them that I was supposed to issue a receipt for the part payment deposited into my account. Which I did later, and they left. Fast forward to the evening same day, she called me claiming that her husband's health was demanding much, and she wouldn't be in need of what she purchased earlier that I would have to refund her immediately.
What rose my suspicions on them are:
1. The acclaimed husband of hers, whom she claimed had stroke as at when they visited the shop, I saw him earlier when they alighted from a Keke napep which dropped them across the road and he was walking very fine but when they began to approach my shop he began to limp like he couldn't walk properly and the woman held his hand for assistance (they didn't know that I had seen him earlier walking properly without any form of aid) when they were at the shop, the acclaimed husband who had stroke sat and crossed his legs, is that even possible for someone suffering from a stroke?
2. Why would they insist on only POS mode of payment (for a transaction worth millions)
3. Why would a woman whose acclaimed husband is sick with stroke decide to perform such a transaction (her pirioty should be making sure her husband is taken care of medically)
4. I know you must be wondering what it is she bought, but I will not be disclosing such for privacy reasons (Hint: it is a single item)
5. She was incoherent when I asked for the name and address that would be added to the receipt (it seemed like she was guessing the name and address)
What are your thoughts? Should I refund the money immediately, if I will, what are the measures to be taken to ensure I am on a safe side
What name was on the card?
If known, let her provide account number that tallies with that same name.
jesusjnr2020: Was The Second Stanza Of National Anthem Made For Such A Time As This?
To illustrate, here it is:
O God Of Creation. Direct Our Noble Cause. Guide Our Leaders Right. Help Our Youth “The Truth” To Know. In Love And Honesty To Grow. And Live In Just And Truth. Great Lofty Heights Attain. To Build A Nation Where Peace And Justice Shall Reign.
It seems prophetic, as though those who composed it were actually speaking of today because I don't think there's ever been a time in this nation's history where it had been as applicable and relevant to the state of the nation as it currently is.
Perhaps it's time for this stanza to usurp the first since it seems much more relevant with regards the nation at this time.
The nation needs righteous leaders, honest and just youths, peace and justice now more than ever.
May God provide what this nation needs in Jesus name!
sammirano2: Right how? Why? Where in the world is such barbaric act done. There are disciplinary procedures to follow , not lock them out like some village head master
In Nigeria, that disciplinary procedure can take years
chronique: I'm currently in a very bad situation right now with a technician I trusted and relied on.
I met him on Nairaland many years ago and have fixed a few cars requiring minor fixes(legs) with him.
I handed over a client's car to him since January to fix a wiring issue that was draining battery and not making car to start.
For several months, it was all manner of stories and excuses I kept hearing.
I was in the hospital for a month and just straight from the hospital with my surgical stitches fresh on me, I had to get someone to drive me to him as he claimed car was ready for pick up only for me to get there and car wasn't starting and this man disappeared and wouldn't pick my calls all through my time at his workshop.
After over an hr of waiting, I left. Same thing repeated itself another day again. To cut a long story right now, I have suffered serious reputational damage with my client who owns the car as he has totally lost confidence in me.
As I speak, it's 9 months and nothing to show for it. The said technician doesn't even pick my calls when I call him, neither does he bother to return my calls.
I've been calling for over a week now and he completely ignores my call. I'm really at a loss to how to handle this.
In my many years of selling cars, nobody has tried this nonsense with me.
Not even road side mechanics. 9 fucking months and nothing to show for it. I've had several clients wanting to buy the car but have lost every opportunity to sell the said car as it's not been fixed for 9 months.
