They just want the Commissioner of Police to be redeployed before the election. Was it this same person the commissioner when LP won Imo presidential votes?
If not, then let them put their strike action on the 13th of November
GasAndOilTheory: Only paid reservations are guaranteed. Try did not make a paid reservation
Wanted to ask that... did they pay for the reservation? If not, they shouldn't rant, they better go find another hotel before those ones will all be booked
Papparassi: so so sad, old students of Fed. Govt. Girls College, Owerri travelled all the way to Owerri for their reunion and the hotel gave out their reserved accommodation to Politicians. *This is Protea by Marriott, Owerri.*
Forget the present political situation, my friend told me normally you don't get hotel rooms on weekends of you don't book earlier. This is because many living outside the town come over during the weekend plus other celebrations (weddings, anniversaries etc.) that happen in the town during weekends.
This particular hotel is a hot cake... people rush to lodge there. Let those girls try other hotels. Owerri is full of hotels as they say
But why should it be the president that makes appointment of these electoral officers? If I am to suggest, these positions should be left dor the civil servants within the commission, maybe to openly and freely elect. It could be made such that from certain level you'll be qualified to contest.
Let everything INEC be independent of the political class
nony43: Thank you . But mention a fraud he has been linked with.
Building modern primary health centres and equipping them. Is the primary health centre (if any) in your locality functional and equipped? Others, you can ask your people. He's got links with banks to execute some of them.
Even someone mentioned here on Nairaland how he tricked their company to supply him buses for his Senatorial campaign, and gave them bounced cheque
jrusky: Achonu bitch ask that motherfucker Ajaero what was he doing in Imo state and what he did before he was caught and beaten blue black?
Condemn it as much as you like but it is a promise, if Ajaero refused to focus primarily on NLC job given to him and continue playing political NLC by turning NLC to obi and obidients Congress the beaten he just received is a child play the next beaten will send him to bed ridden for the rest of his life, its a promise.
Disappointed to see NLC being political
Anyways, for the beating, I wonder why he had a neck collar. Or is it over exaggeration?
When I read that this man decamped from APC to go displace and buy over the guber ticket of Labour Party, I felt LP lost it. How can those who have laboured for LP and Peter Obi by sidelined to sell ticket to the highest bidder? Some may say this is politics, but people thought Obi and LP represent a new type of politics in Nigeria.
Kogi2023: Dino/Deen Campaign Raises Alarm Over Takeover of Hotels by Yahaya Bello.
The Dino/Deen Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has raised an alarm over the statement credited to the Kogi State government requesting all the hotels in the state to handover all rooms to designated officers of the state government.
The campaign asserts that the blocking of all the hotels in Kogi state by the state government is designed to enable Governor Yahaya Bello and the agents of the APC to house hired thugs, rogue security agents and other non-state actors which the APC evidently plot to use to foment trouble in the November 11 governorship election.
The attention of our campaign has also be drawn to plots by Governor Bello to use such thugs to hijack materials on the day of the election after the accreditation process has been completed.
Our campaign advises hotel owners to reject the offer of releasing their hotel rooms to the state government as such has the capacity of pitching them against the people.
It is also important for proprietors of hotels in the state to avoid being used by Bello thajt has wrecked the economy of the state and left their means of livelihood in comatose.
The battle to rescue Kogi state from the stranglehold of Bello and restore the lives of the people to economic prosperity will be determined through this November 11 election and only Senator Dino Melaye can lead our state to achieve this growth.
We therefore enjoin Kogites not to allow their business enterprises to be turned into a hideout for criminals, thugs and hoodlums which the APC plans to import to unleashed violence on the state.
Some people will be happy with these... hotel owners and staff
Maybe it is time to start booking people's houses, so you have the feelings of being an ordinary citizen Maybe lots of greetings from no electricity, heat or even mosquitoes
FreeStuffsNG: Labour Party(LP) acting like tyrants. These are private businesses and energy consumers they're punishing for the labour party's political interests.
National Assembly should enact a law to separate the NLC from a political party in order to stop this kind of tyranny. Check my signature for free stuffs!
You've summarised what is needed.
I think Rochas time, they used the church by saying the governor flogged a clergy. So maybe church too can be added among structures that should be separated from political affiliations
alimiadedayo1: is that not what have been saying but you are more concern about giving obi ticket than facing and saying the reality.. that was the reason why I said obi made Tinubu to become the president.. what they were supposed to do is for obi to ally with PDP cause obi only cannot become the president he needs alliance and that was what I have been clamoring for
Okay, I get your point. Anyways, I hope they have all learnt from this 2023 elections for 2027
alimiadedayo1: that is onething I am very sure of is that obi is very greedy, he knows he cannot become the president but because of the fame and awareness he was used by APC for them to win election.. all your votes for obi is just wasted elu pee you are all looser
I don't care who becomes your president. But one thing is that to win a ruling party, am alliance could have been formed among top oppositions - Atiku, Wike, Obi and Kwankwaso could have united. Even they would have lured those that lost APC primaries. Until such strong alliances are made, the ruling party will continue to rule
