Please concerning the referee form, are referees only to sign, put their names, home/office address, passport on the form. Just like it's shown below or we still need letter of recommendation from them.

Cos going by this, anybody can just sign this form am seeing so and put his/her passport. The state am going is a little bit far. I won't want to get there and they should be asking for letter from those who signed for me....

Why is it that Nigerians don't ask the right questions?
I have been on this thread for over 3 years now, and been in Germany for over 2 and I can confidently say that that is not a "proper" question to ask. Why? Because what is sauce for the goose is not always sauce for the gander!!!

Proper thing to do would be to apply to schools first, get admissions then get in contact with current/past Nigerian students in the school (if any) and inquire how life is in the school/city!

Expecting a list is a very lazy attitude and I'm not sorry that you find my answer upsetting!

If a school is requesting for it, then they're requesting for it! Asking here if it's compulsory will not change that as a requirement. The wise thing to do would be to mail/call the school explaining your situation and ask if this requirement can be waived for you!

Yes. It is. No need for TOEFL/IELTS if you studied in Nigeria, but you will need a Letter of Profiency from your university stating your language of Instruction was English.

There are so many universities. But only the winter semester is available (higher chances of getting admission)

There are different schls. Just use DAAD and filter your choices.
