Ballzproblem2:Cancer research is an ongoing effort. There are hundred of different kinds of cancers. There isn’t one size treatment that fits all kinds of cancers. Many cancers are still incurable hence the research must go on. If you want 4 billion dedicated to subsidizing cancer treatment, the cancer treatment has to be developed first. no? That’s the point of research. Some already developed treatments don’t work for certain people if they have certain genetic markers. There are so many things to go into deciding what combination therapy is going to be applied to each person. Two people with the same type of cancer may not get the same treatment because their genetic makeup is different and that can determine efficacy. It’s complicated. You people make these flippant statements about important stuff because you believe it’ll never be you. But some of the treatment we use all over the world including in Nigeria were developed in places where research is taken seriously.. |
I believe you have a video to provide to a certain someone up there. Use your time wisely and stop meandering. We can see you trying and failing to give backing to the claim you made. Don’t use me to distract yourself from that. Android17: |
And I love how we don’t worship our politicians. I can call out a behavior I find unprofessional. Heck I would never support a democrat who’s been credibly accused of rape, brags about assault, lies with their every breath, is a confirmed con artist etc etc. I have a moral breaking point and I will withdraw my support for any politician who crosses that line. Maga could never. They’ll rather mop the ocean. IjeBos: |
IjeBos:Right. At this rate, we’ll get to the point where no one can get any services or benefits that we used to take for granted as Americans then when he doles out a nugget of goodwill, we’ll be expected to applaud and praise him for it. They’re just getting this poor sick kid and his family mixed up in their mess when he should be resting up. |
Ballzproblem2:He has nothing to gain from propaganda? oh do I have news for you.😮💨 But the clap or no clap is not a hill I’m willing to die on so I’ll be moving on. |
raumdeuter:I’m neutral about the ones who didn’t applaud. If they saw it as the clout chasing photo op that it was, I understand them not wanting to participate in the charade. Trying to use a sick kid to show the country that those who didn’t clap don’t love the country while simultaneously taking away chances for sick people to get better, leaves a bad taste in the mouth of anyone with discernment. Maybe if people stopped entertaining his insincere photo ops, he will stop doing them And focus on things that don’t hurt the country. Nicole Wallace said: I hope he's alive for another 95 years and I hope he lives the life he wants to live. He wants to be a cop, he knows what he wants to do and maybe when you have childhood cancer that crystallizes for you,” Wallace began.I get that she’s attempting to make a point about the Jan 6 cops who lost their lives to suicide following how Trump and republicans fvkced tbem over after the insurrection. I had to quote the full statement so we’re not walking away with the impression that she’s wishing suicide on this particular baby. But left to me, since it’s involving a kid, I would have kept it cute and simple and wished him well. We’ll talk about the cops who died by suicide another day. Not this moment. I do believe in an appropriate time and place for everything. So in my impression it was distasteful. |
raumdeuter:That’s very sweet. I love people who’s don’t shy away from their emotions because that’s what makes us all human. It would be nice if those emotions can be extended to all the sick kids who are going to suffer from the harm cutting funds for medical research will have on them. I’ve mentioned here before that I’m an oncology nurse (probably not for much longer because it’s a very heavy field) so I do have insight as to how research funding can personally impact sick people and their families. I have patients who would’ve died but didn’t because they got accepted into a promising clinical trial. I’m not currently working at a research institute but a lot of them do come back a year or two later with cards and treats to say thank you to the staff for the care they received. So we see them few years down the line in good health, when all would’ve been lost if not for the research that went into the treatment they received. That’s what Trump is threatening by cutting funding to NIH. Doing a photo op with a sick kid after that diabolical move is just callous. I’m not going to make assumptions about what you do with your money but if you don’t already donate to organizations like Saint Jude, pls look into that. More kids like this baby get life saving treatment and they don’t have to pay a penny for it. It’s going to get harder to provide those free treatments as cancer (and other health) research gets defunded by Trump. Your donation will make a difference. |
Ballzproblem2:I wouldn’t go as far as not going for an aww moment for a sick kid especially if it’s one of the last significant moments of their life before they pass. But it’s silly to not recognize this is clout chasing by the Trump administration. Y’all claim they don’t play the race card but want to use a sick black baby to get Africans and African Americans to support a destructive govt that ultimately doesn’t care about anyone least of black babies. You know what’s going to happen with defunding NIH? Less funds going into childhood cancer research. Picking a sick kid to do a photo op moment with while giving a middle finger to every single one of them out there in the community is a very low even by Trump already low standards. If you take care of cancer patients, you’ll understand that what they need most sometimes is funds to participate in medical treatments that haven’t been made widely available to the general population due to funding issues. Further defunding those already lean programs is inhumane. A photo op moment is for the pride and clout of the person doing it. Not the population that’s supposed to benefit from it. |
And why they want that for America blows my mind. GloriousGbola: |
Maeve7:He’s deliberately leaving out the part where majority of the speech watchers are republicans so of course majority of them will approve. They’ve shown they’ll approve of him lusting after his daughter, bragging about sexually harassing women and inspecting half dressed women some of who teenagers on his pageant. What’s new? |
PDPGuy:Like northern alhaji’s taking away youth improvement programs from the youth in their communities then hosting events to hand them alms on camera for their own personal praise and aggrandizement. Same vibes

I saw ibeokehie viewing and I thought he was going to leave a comment about what Trump is doing for Russia now. He swore I was being preposterous for saying Trump is a Russian asset. Didn’t even take the man 2 months to show everyone his true stance. |
He picked a fight with Zelensky so he could use it as justification to do his masters bidding There was a time when one of uniting forces between republicans and democrats was the mutual understanding that we don’t support dictatorship and Russia is not our friend. The Russian asset in the White House has made it clear we’ve been acquired

Not even gonna waste my time |
How the mighty nation has fallen to a laughing stock. This is embarrassing. This leadership doesn’t evoke feelings of national pride. Is this how people are really looking at us 🥲

Republican senator on the financial mess Trump is making pretending to save America money by cutting federal services. It’s a long watch but if you can’t watch everything, watch the first 4 minutes. And watch additional 4-5 minutes starting from the 18th minute. He talks about a lot of stuff but those spots talk specifically about those federal cuts that don’t save money but harm Americans instead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RQEebQnejo?si=6uoyN3ouVfEjmp6Y |
International embarrassment

Maeve7:Everything is Obama’s fault 10 years after he left office but nothing is Trump’s fault even though he’s been in office since after Obama and it was his goddamm mess Biden had to clean up. See how everything was starting to look up again and bam they said they wanted the clown again because his first destruction wasn’t enough. Now we have to give him four years before we judge. Sounds like we should’ve given Biden four years before judging him too. Oh wait we did and what do you know? Things actually got better under him. SMH |

Ah the jokes keep writing themselves. Let me guess 1) It’s a lie. 2) He didn’t post this . 3) It’s AI that was backdated and magically placed on his profile. 4) His account was hacked 5) A Democrat was pretending to be him Pick your defense. Gaslight yourself and lie to yourself. Pretend you don’t know you’re making a fool of yourself. And carry on as usual.

They’ll release it when daddy Trump’s name has been scrubbed off the pages. Flied to Epstein island countless time and was friends with him for decades? Yea he was just going to admire the architecture. Thank God I didn’t vote for a pedophile. No matter what the outcome of this govt turns out to be, I can sleep with a clear mind that as a mom of little girls, I don’t support adults who fiddle little kids basilico: |
Crayfish09:A lot of Africans do swallow white propaganda about African American people and in a very pathetic move, will often side with white nationalists/supremacists against African Americans to be counted as one of the good ones. Now African Americans are not a perfect race of 100% innocent people who never did anything wrong in their lives. But the vices in their communities can be found in other communities as well. They just use their racism to justify over policing and over incarcerating them. When you see someone focusing on AAs as the problem, just know they’re unaware of the multitude of problems endemic in the white communities as well. And it’s simply because they get their news from racist white sources. |
IjeBos:Like clockwork ![]() The one that amuses me the most is when they try to shame you by calling you a victim. Let’s assume they are right and we’re “victims”, how’s that an indictment on us and not the people committing the racism. Or when they lie that you’re telling people to live in fear. Just loads and load of BS in an effort to kiss white people’s 🍑 |
IjeBos:They’ll say it didn’t happen. Or the news houses are lying. Or the white supremacist were actors. Anything but the truth |
Tightpussy2024:🤣 |
They do this gleefully sadistic thing where they’re celebrating bad things happening to Americans or justifying & excusing it, then turn around and want a respectful conversation. This is the only appropriate response Obrigardo: |
Some people are just sadists |
The day you guys get to accepting that Nigeria has more people on the rainbow spectrum than y’all could imagine, is the day you guys will have peace 😶 |
budaatum:I have. |
basilico:SMH. The same way antifa was responsible for you guys storming the capitol And fbi was responsible for you guys trying to hang the vice president. Nothing bad your party does is ever their fault. |
All the 21 men are so powerful that you can’t name one of them at least? |
