I have 3 daughters that I raise. Maybe there's one or two that I don't know .....
What do you call a man who argues for conservatism aka the party of “family values”, criticizes black men for not being in their children’s lives, yet is buddy buddy with a man who does exactly what he pretends to be against?

And is himself unsure if he has any kids loitering around somewhere in the world that he may be unaware of? A prudent man would ensure he doesn’t engage in relationships that might lead to such situations if he’s indeed sincere about holding such values.

You guys are walking talking bill boards of hypocrisy and contradiction.

So it’s better to have kids and dump them with the govt than not to have any at all? Which lane are we picking?

Are we for fathers staying in their kid’s lives and families staying together or does it not matter?

Seeing grown men with no real conviction is actually quite nauseating 🤢🤮. Anywhere belle face.

Being short is not a character flaw.

But sleeping with teenagers is.

A character flaw so big it deserves the well of sulfur at the bottom of the basement of hell.

What part dont you understand.
He got $8 billion from the state govt.
Then kicked pensions down the road.
The rest of the money is revenue he expects to raise this year with the rich people's tax. He hasn't collected a cent but he factored it in the budget.
I bet you know what shelving pensions mean.

-The President of the United States
"I don't care about Americans' financial situation. Not even a little bit."

His followers: “You’re taking it out of context”. 🙄🙄🙄

Same people who were gullible enough to believe he wanted to be president to “fix” the economy. After he ruined it his first term.

Hateful haters gon hate. We are still waiting for the billionaire flight from New York City as predicted by hateful conservatives. When New York City and New York State at large start depending on red states for sustenance, you guys can come back and let’s have a talk about economics. In the absence of that, it’s just another horde of conservatives hating from outside a club they can’t even get in.
Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by cococandy(f): 2:54am On May 14
Cue the bla bla bla from conservatives who hate themselves and others. Those who want to see others suffer so the people they peach-rim can amass more wealth that never trickles down to them.

Ekubo was a dignified man

He just went quietly after his diagnosis 18 months ago. Never once fundraised, never once sought public sympathy or put financial pressure on his colleagues or the wider public to help him out

If you saw how he maintained himself, you will know he was an old school ninja that believes in the grind and cutting his cloth to size. He drove the same Chevy Camaro for almost a decade, before Netflix started paying, then he upgraded to a Range quietly while keeping the old Chevy which must now be over 15 years old.

Even when his ex fiance threw dirt on his name, he kept a dignified silence. She was the one who later came back and apologised publicly and he accepted her apology and gave her his blessing

Na man him be.

Correction.
He was bailed out . New York Governor Hochul gave him $8 billion after pressure from Democrats in the upcoming election.
The rest he kicked the can down the road by restructuring.
At the end his promises of free everything was rescheduled.
Silly excuses

Let the other mayors use their own bailout and do the same 🙄

PrimadonnaO:
As Cococandy said earlier, legacy is hardly about children.

It's not merely in the continuance of a lineage

Legacy is often incorporeal. It's the customs that begin to govern a people, subtly or overtly...

It's an inheritance of whatsoever, that posterity benefits from...

It's the totality of privileges that a people enjoy long after the originator/enabler is gone.

Some people's legacies will be felt globally

Some nationally, regionally, among distinct groups...

Some in just their families...

At whatever scale, what good continues long after you're gone?
.
.
.
Think Abraham, think King David, think Ruth, think Martin Luther King Jnr, think Barack Obama...

My own maternal grandmother left a legacy. She was a unifying force in my family. She could get the toughest of relatives to do anything because she was deeply respected and kind and had clean hands. She was a mother to family and beyond. She lived a life in her days that challenged her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren to not be mediocre.

Till today, her name grants us favours in certain quarters.
****************

The bible says that a good man is an inheritance (legacy) to his children but the wealth of the sinner eventually goes to the righteous (Prov 13:22). The inheritance of the righteous is beyond money.

But wicked people can ONLY at best have money. And that soon goes away.

Some of the people who die and there's a stirring... it's only because they're popular. What positive impact did they really make? Only a matter of time, the world moves on and they're forgotten.

******************
There are countless people who didn't have biological children, but their names are etched in the sands of time --- Mary Slessor, Oprah Winfrey, Isaac Newton... to mention but a few

The question that should keep us all awake and on our toes is ---- "What will I be remembered for LONG after I'm gone?"

Atleast have a seed that continues your legacy.
What’s legacy? I don’t know why you guys think everyone has a legacy that needs to be continued. And legacy doesn’t have to be a child. It can be a memory, works, contributions, things that one can be remembered for when they die. Legacy is rarely ever another human being

2000 dollars to risk your life. It’s not worth it ladies. I wish no one will take him up on the offer. Giving life is no joke. And it’s a unique gift that women have. A man shouldn’t get to price it at such a disappointing rate

When we came into office, we uncovered a $12 billion budget deficit. Today, I’m proud to say we brought it down to zero.

We didn’t close the gap on the backs of working people. We closed it while funding parks, libraries, safer streets and making historic investments in public housing.

Call it Pothole Politics. Call it Democratic Socialism. It’s government that delivers for the people who make this city run.

That’s what New Yorkers deserve. And that’s what we will keep fighting for every single day.

Band of robbers and pay doughs

The guy standing next to Trump’s pastor is a bitcoin billionaire named Brock Pierce. He is a former child actor. He and two other guys once had to flee the country to avoid charges for crimes against children, which he later settled. More recently, he was noted in the Epstein files for his email conversations with Jeffrey Epstein, where he promised to “gift” Epstein 20 Ukrainian women for a European trip. Now he’s standing in line with religious leaders to cut the ribbon for the new Trump statue. In broad daylight.

James Hodge-
Trump is obviously being blackmailed. Trump is obviously making choices that only serve Russia, Israel and the Epstein class.

You were all fooled MAGA. You worship the most corrupt and compromised public figure in American history.

You were brainwashed by an Australian billionaire’s media apparatus and social media influencers paid by Russia to convince you to defend, no matter what he does, an adjudicated rapist and fraud. A man who is owned by Russia, Israel and all the Epstein class billionaires.

But you’ll never admit it. You’ll never step back and go, damn, they made me spend 4 years afraid of a trans girl in a swimming pool so the Epstein class could bleed the world dry for their own benefit.

You’ll never admit an immigrant isn’t the problem, but the real villains are the people profiting off yours and the immigrant’s labor while leaving you with half the resources you should have.

You’ll constantly attack the “woke” college kid when that kid never hurt you. What hurt you was the billionaires who buried you and the college kid under mountains of debt for simply trying to live the American dream.

Now you are actually defending us all paying double for gas and fighting another useless foreign war when two years ago you swore you were supporting trump for lower gas and food prices and to not end up in another useless foreign war.

What a pathetic lot you are.

Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by cococandy(f):
Beautiful summary. Nothing else to add.

God forbid we shit on the community that made it possible for us to get to the USA as immigrants. Black people did all that. They opened the doors for immigrants. Black people fought for post-war African American soldiers to get included in veteran’s rights and benefits. Africans benefitted as a side effect of this fight.

Because of them, African-American and by extension African military families have been able to get the rewards that they worked and sacrificed for. Things that were and would have continually been denied to us if we pretended racism didn’t exist.

Because of them, African Americans and African military families have bought and sold several homes without having to jump through the hell the average person does. Got degrees without loans because of their fight for African American inclusion in VA benefits. They did all that because they chose to not turn a blind eye and let racists exclude them .

I’m pretty sure if they were fighting for those things today, these trolls on this page would call them activists and liberal snowflakes like it’s a slur or something.I despise snotty and disingenuous people. And I know they know better: which makes it all the more evil and insidious. Like what’s the end goal?

Ijebosc:
This cat couldn't compete in Nigeria. So begged and jumped through hoops to migrate to the US.
Came to the US and I'm sure used programs that were set up and meant to benefit Black Americans to get ahead even though he didn't grow up in the environment that those programs were meant to help people from.
Probably bought a house with one of those programs.
May have went to school with one of those programs.

And now that he has a little success, he is trashing those people who fought and battled to set up those programs while defending the people who never wanted him here.

That's the utterly contemptuous part of all this
