You should pay taxes on your income, that's my position not on future incomes. A loan is not an income.
The far left fringe of the democrats is the one advocating for socialism and equity demanding money to advance their social utopia.

The irony here is that if Obama had made the same common sense tax relief proposal as Trump , all democrats would have voted for them.
Yes as a billionaire but you can take tax payer loans (that you get forgiven for btw), corporate handouts and subsidies based on the value of your assets and never have to pay it back because you haven’t “sold” yet. And keep doing that year after year after year.

Never sell so that you never have cash to pay back. Fix your books so that you declare a loss and never have tax obligations. Communism for the billionaires and none for the people who fund them.

Pls don’t engage me next time with steupid questions when you know that your mind is already made up and you’re looking to be a troll as usual. Save it for those who you go around butt sniffing each other with.

I've held on to some shares for over a decade which have risen in value .
I have not sold them , why should I be taxed.
if you can’t be taxed on the profit from those shares because it’s not cash yet and therefore not technically money at hand, then you shouldn’t also be able to use them as collateral to purchase anything.

So let me guess. You’ve moved from asking why congress doesn’t change tax laws to defending the tax laws because I’ve shown you the Republicans are the culprits?

This is why I don’t waste time with you people. Disingenuous down to your red blood cells. EuGH 🥴

Deepsight are you following this conversation? Do you see why they’re all a waste of time? Every single one of them?

He tried to exonerate the billionaires who have the congress in their pockets by asking me “why can’t congress do something”. I showed him it’s the republicans who usually hold us back from effecting changes and instead of acknowledging this, he swiftly shifts his brain to defending it. Smh

How would have been fixed when it's Joe Biden who opened it. What was he fixing here.

Fiscal Year
FY 2025. 691,906
FY 2024 2,901,142
FY 2023. 3,201,144
FY 2022 2,766,582
FY 2021 1,956,519
FY 2020 646,822
FY 2019 1,148,024
America is not an autocracy so technically everything gets a vote. Joe Biden wasn’t a king and the houses still had to vote on any changes.

Guess who usually votes against any amendments to fix tax issues or help the masses? If you guessed republicans , then you guessed right.

I know this is the point where you either have to admit you’re supporting the wrong guys or you let cognitive dissonance take you away from the point.
But at least I’ve tried to point you in the right direction. What you do with the information is up to you.

You can read more on the issue or just copy and paste right wing jargon. It’s up to you!

The border would have been fixed under the Biden administration, but Trump told Republicans not to sign anything. Trump had nothing else to run on, he killed that bipartisan bill purposely so that he could use the issue to whip up sentiments among his gullible irrational supporters !

Good heavens.

And people here come to say "where will the money come from."
This doesn’t even scratch the surface. Not even a bit.

These drug companies own the hospitals and own the insurance companies. So they get to decide how much healthcare costs, and how much the medications cost and much they pay themselves. We’re left to pick up the bill.

If you stay in an ICU in America for 10 days, you’ll likely walk away with a bill in the hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions (no kidding).

The hospital charges you exorbitantly but you have insurance so you don’t have to worry right? Except they also own the insurance company. And now that you have used your insurance coverage , the premium automatically goes up as if to punish you for using insurance that you’ve been paying for years.

And this is only for the portion that they’ll agree to cover. Your part of the bill could very well still run into tens of thousand of dollars. Everything you own could be gone and it still will not cover your part of the bill. This is in spite of buying insurance for decades and paying every single payment.

But I guess if you don’t want to die so the CEO can have another bonus, you’re just jealous according to bemeruca and raumdeter. Ugh their silliness grinds my gears.

I guess I’m jealous of CVS.

All the people who depend on them for healthcare that now have to pay 20% more for same quality or even less care and those who lost their job are also jealous if they speak about it.

BTW CVS is a monopoly. They bought Aetna insurance company and immediately raised employee premiums while reducing coverage. I guess those employees are jealous if they don’t like paying more money for less coverage.

Especially since they have no real way of fighting back against a huge company like CVS.

The conservative dymwits on this app think this is what jealousy is.

Ugh. I know your life has been made the past few days that I’ve spent engaging you. Look how happy you are. Honestly it’s irritating me to have made you this happy.

We all know you’re a kinda slouw but let me break it down to you. There are many forms of violence going on in the world currently. It’s nearly impossible to consistently speak on all of them. If you cared you’d be talking about what’s going on in Nigeria, Sudan, Congo etc.

But I can focus on condemning Israel because the people I vote for and give my money to are trying to convince me that it’s a holy thing they’re doing.

No one else in the world is trying to tell me that my tax dollars should be given to evil people to kill others in different parts of the world. Only isreal is currently doing that. I’m not steupid like you to believe that therefore I have to say so. This is a really simple breakdown but I feel you might need a chalk board level of simplicity for you to understand.

Thankfully my taxes don’t support Hamas or Palestine. I’d be livid if my elected representatives voted to give them my money.

However my money goes to Isreal therefore I can speak on how much it displeases me.

Keep trying, your fraction of a brain cell might actually get it eventually.

Now we have to support Isreal because they allow gay people live freely.

AI summary
On May 28, 1963, inside a Woolworth’s in Jackson, Mississippi, a quiet act of courage turned into a defining moment. Anne Moody, Memphis Norman, and Pearlena Lewis walked in with a plan. At 11:15 a.m., they sat at a lunch counter reserved for white customers—and refused to leave.

At first, there was silence. Then came the anger. Insults turned into violence. They were beaten, dragged, and covered in food and hot coffee.Cigarettes were pressed into their skin. For three hours, they endured it without fighting back.

Police stood nearby, watching. They did nothing . More protesters joined, taking seats as others were pulled away. The scene became a powerful image of resistance—people choosing dignity despite humiliation and pain.

That day didn’t end segregation immediately. But it changed something. The images spread, forcing the nation to confront what was happening. A year later, the Civil Rights Act would be signed into law.Sometimes history doesn’t begin with speeches. It begins with a decision to sit—and not move.

There has never a more disingenuous set of people like MAGA in the history of the universe.

Let this have been a Democrat in power while all this craziness is going on. They would’ve split the earth in two.

Democratic administration are so drama free and prosperous that these no-good republicans have to find stuff to make up, just so they can have something to complain about.

Tan suit. Mustard in cheeseburger. Salute with a drink in hand. They quite literally have to fish in the farthest corners of the earth to find something wrong with a democrat.

But here we are hour after hour with record breaking idiocy happening by the minute and irreparable damage yet they have nothing to say.

Tariff-induced dysfunction has also put a strain on the country’s judicial system. In anticipation of the Supreme Court’s ruling invalidating the IEEPA tariffs, importers filed more than 2,000 lawsuits seeking refunds. In the wake of the Court’s decision, the government owes more than $160 billion in tariff refunds to more than 300,000 importers, with $700 million in additional taxpayer-funded interest for every month it further delays issuing refunds.

For example, Walmart owned by billionaires pays their workers unlivable wages. Their regular staff have their hours cut short just shy of full time, so they don’t legally have to be provided with healthcare benefits as stipulated by law for all full time employees.

If you’re not full time, then they don’t legally owe you healthcare. Therefore, it’s not illegal but obviously we can see how unethical it is.

In addition, they also make so little that they have to depend on food stamps even though their owners get tax breaks funded by tax payers. These tax breaks the owners get are meant to help stimulate the economy because they are employers of labor.

But instead of reinvesting the tax money they get from OUR taxes, they use it to enrich themselves. Yet they keep making sure that we fund their employees healthcare and food stamps in addition to the tax breaks they’re already receiving.

Let me guess. This is my jealousy speaking huh? I’m jealous that my taxes are used to being misappropriated by sticky fingers who have law makers in their pockets?

Are you also going to tell Nigerians they are jealous of the thieving class who rob them blind day after day?

When ignorant people speak, it’s too easy to see they don’t understand what they’re talking about.
