FriedPlantain: Nope I didn't and yet I have heard of the parable countless times.
To post gifs on nairaland is quite easy.
First, you have to save the desired gif in your device as a link. If you are using a pc, you have to right-click then save image as link. If you are using a phone browser, you have to long-press the image and then save it in your device as a Web link.
Now on posting it in nairaland, you have to click on the image icon next to the Alphabet A sign once you want to post. Then you drop the saved gif weblink in between the "[img][/img]" before clicking the submit button.
You can save the gif I posted above and give my tutorial a trial. Ok |

standingtall: hi guys,
I have been dating my fiance for 3 years now. In the beginning everything was cool until recently. About a month ago, I found condoms an, empty pack of condoms in his bag, I confronted him about it and he told me he saw the pack on the floor and he liked the colour of the pack so he picked it up.
I let it go because I didn't want to upset him since he started getting upset.
Fast forward to today, I was looking for change in his bag and this time I found 3 different brands of unused condoms in his bag.
I didn't say anything and I won't say anything. I am hurt and crying inside.I just don't understand what he wants again. I hate him so much right now.
Please my sisters, I need a coping mechanism until am safely far from him. Sorry about my epistle. I needed to let it out. OP please leave him, not just because he is cheating but because he chose to insult your intelligence by telling you that stupid lie. He saw the pack and liked it indeed. |

GraceShallom: Lol.
Not at the final stages like that yet ooo. I am writing my research proposal. Maybe I shd have just said I have decided on schools to appy to and working on application now. I never finalize at all.
Where are u hoping to go to and how is it progressing? I am working on my application to university of manitoba, university of victoria.
most schools required a copy of previous reseach work by applicant. My copy of undergraduate project was destroyed in a fire incident. I'm at OttawaU. What was your question again? I'm sorry I can't remember. Manitoba is quite competitive but Victoria isn't so that's cool. |

Drfinn: Thanks bro. Its good knowing someone had been in my shoes before. I had my reservations when she told she was catholic. I specifically sought counsel from my Pastor. He gave me the go ahead. In his reasoning, marriage should be based not on religious affiliation but on compatibility, and the ability of both parties to compromise. You can imagine the nightmares when things started unfolding. I had 'abstained' from committed relationships for a year plus with the hope anyone I go into will end in marriage.
I have moved on. But the scars?? Time heal all wounds. Awww... My brother was in your shoes. The dad was even a knight but my brother agreed and today they attend both churches, this month they might both attend catholic and next month Redeemed....no big deal. |

So for those PMing me asking about the cost of living in Ottawa, For house rent, keep about $500 per month but if you wanna live close to school, keep about $650-$750 I would actually suggest that two people get a bachelors of about $750 (a self con) and split the bills. The issue is once our Nigerian brothers and sisters get here, everybody be forming I want my privacy even when their pocket is drying up...privacy wey you no get for naija. For food, personally when I was coming, I brought more foodstuff than clothes so I spend less than $50 per week since I cook my food, I dont drink and I dont smoke. Transport was already included in my tuition fee so I get free unlimited access to the bus to go anywhere within Ottawa. The weather condition is but you will survive. The worst is yet to come because it gets to -35 degrees. For those coming to Uottawa, I would advise you dont buy winter jackets, gloves and all that in Naija cos the free store has more than enough plus theres value village which would probably give you at the same price you would have bought in Naija with all those greedy traders that want to milk you dry. You should buy your thermal wear from Naija though (just make sure you price it well because those people! ) This would also save you the excess luggage. I got all my fall jackets and some winter jackets from the free store and saved the money I was gonna use to buy them before. (If you are a rich kid please ignore this part ). You could also get one or two winter jackets cos its gonna be cold when you are onboard the aircraft. I think thats all. Any other question should be on the thread biko unless its really personal so others can benefit. |
