See bigger BP issues. But Eligibility has been on MET since. I've ordered notes twice since March but I'm yet to receive any. O sun mi.
How did you find out your eligibility was met?

Do you have a military background? Did they call your employer for verification? Additional verification sometimes has to do with one of these. If they are refusing to release your gcms notes and the 30 day statutory response period has elapsed, it means there is something in your gcms notes that they feel if disclosed will jeopardize their investigation.

If you are satisfied with the veracity of the claims in your application including the statutory questions you answered, then you can relax. You can also try emailing Ralph.

You can also try emailing the ATIP department by replying to the confirmation email you received when you ordered the notes.

Dont forget to mention:

- Client ID
- Address

Dear All,

Please has anyone received a mail like the one below from CPC Ottawa. AOR is 31st October so I'm past 6months timeline already.

I am on one the Indians' groups, trust me they can increase one's BP:
You need to order GCMS notes ASAP. Your application probably has a review required for eligibility.

The officer is alleging that you didn't provide documentation at all to prove the relationship which is confusing. There is a difference between a particular document not being acceptable, and documents not being provided in their entirety. For instance, sometimes they would say "the Nigerian Police Certificate you provided is not acceptable " rather than say you didn't provide it at all. Although, you shouldn't have gotten past R10 if you didn't provide it.

Is it possible that the officer didn't see the documents you submitted under this placeholder? Is it possible you attached the wrong set of documents? It's been known to happen before. You need to order gcms notes to understand what exactly went wrong.

Birth certificates are not the only proof of relationship so it's strange that you would be denied on the basis of the birth certificate alone. Ircc states:

Proof of the relationship of the applicant or the accompanying spouse or common-law partner to the family member must also be provided (e.g., a birth certificate, an official document naming the applicant as a relative, a copy of the inside back cover of the relative’s passport showing the relative’s parents’ marriage certificate, legal adoption documents and any other documents that prove or describe the relationship).

My birth certificate was issued by the Ministry of Health for my state, while my sister's was NPC issued and both were submitted. Still waiting for a decision.

Gurus in the house.

I have worked for my organization from 2006 till date in different capacities and grade.

While claiming point, i claimed point for the period 2011-2015 under a different NOC from my current Job function.

However, my current payslip has my new role from 2016 till date which i want to also attach.

Is this misrepresenation, please?

How can i resolve it?
Technically, it shouldn't be misrepresentation. Just ensure the period from 2016 to date is in your personal history. Others can share their opinions.

I'm really sorry about your situation. The first thing you should do is order GCMS notes, that way you'll know the exact thoughts of the VO and so know how to channel your appeal/new application.
Sending you hugs
Good idea.

Hello Everyone,

I have a slight challenge. I was refused PPR after 10 months.

The refusal letter stated that they couldnt establish the relationship with my sibling in canada and because i claimed points for him, my crs points was below the draw for the which i was given ITA.

Kindly advise.

Thank you.
Can you post a picture of the refusal letter without any personal identifiers? We can only assume that its because of the NPC issue but seeing the letter will help shed more light.

It sounds like she is schizophrenic or bipolar. Try to get her to visit a psychologist. These things are rarely discussed in African culture unfortunately and when they do come up, we chalk it up to spiritual issues or just being intentionally stubborn. She needs psychological help.

Nigeria is finished!
Is this how the police in other country behave?
Before na vehicle stop and search but now it's human stop and search.
One can't go out with 2 phones again
Somebody can't even carry a laptop bag let alone a laptop in it
Every guy on the street has now become a suspect
If person hutsle legal hustle so tey gather money buy expensive ride, SARs go say na yahoo.
Dem no dey see person inside sun dey sweat now wen e blow tomorrow dem go say na pant e thief
If you have a legitimate hustle, you have nothing to hide. Every average Nigerian owns a laptop. How many of them are stopped by SARS? Security operatives already have profiles of people who are engaged in internet fraud. If you do not fit their profile, you wont be stopped. You guys should stop being sentimental about this. Many of you have friends, siblings, neighbors who are involved in internet fraud but you wont speak out against it. When they get arrested, you start forming voltron and acting like all police men are beasts. If every arrested person is innocent, please who then are the fraudsters?

Before everyone will come saying SARS this and that y can't he simply unlock his phone the truth is we part of the problem here no one won't say they are not a aware of the upscale in fruad and all in this country he ask u to open the phone open it did he ask u for bribe did he say he want to take ur phone yeah people we say he has no right to tell me who nw has right to ..it just dude forming big up and all it won't take anything to just be silient and answer their question instead of forming what u not
The only sensible comment on this thread. Few days ago, there was an uproar over Simi's comment on yahoo/internet fraudsters. I became convinced that 90% of Nigerian youths are involved in internet fraud directly or indirectly with the support of their parents, siblings and significant others. When they are stopped by security forces, they use the media to play on our emotions and plead their innocence without telling us the full story.

Yes. They don't conduct physical interviews for Canadian Visa. Interviews are the exception not the norm.

They haven't opened up an interview date for your file because they are still running their background checks. As soon as they have received a recommendation on your file, they will open up a date for your interview. This is why interviews are usually brief, because most times they already have the full information they need and a decision/recommendation has been made. When they are ready for you, they will give you an interview slot.

Can seniors please comment more on this? I'm at the point of trying to decide what to pack and ship over and would appreciate inputs. Does it make sense bring foodstuff over or I should just stick with clothes, books, basic drugs and toiletries? I need the cheaper way out please...
$600 will buy you a whole lot of foodstuff here that would last you for months.

This is for those who studied in Canada.
If you worked part-time in Canada while schooling, you cannot claim points for the work experience. It does not apply to foreign education. I understand how the screenshot by IRCC can be confusing, but this has been debunked several times on CanadaVisa.

The key is to make sure you were paid for it and you can back it up with a reference letter.

Your work experience as a TA in the US will count.

@nomad26, please share with us why your ices took 4 months.

I think people need to be aware that ICES is not really as wonderful as we say on this thread. ICES also reserves the right to carry out verification on their own, just that this is not made known to applicants in the manner WES does. Their evaluation process is also shrouded in mystery. Documents were received by ICES on November 7 and to date, the ECA has not been completed. I called them yesterday and was told evaluations take 10-12 weeks after they receive your documents and it is at that stage they would let you know if your documents are acceptable or not. I wouldn't be surprised if the processing time increases due to the manner in which we have been encouraging people to go with ICES. Their volume of work may have increased without necessarily increasing the number of evaluators. Please let's make an informed decision.
So, I finally got the ECA after writing to them to ask why the delay. The date on the ECA is the date I wrote to them. That being said, I love how responsive they are to enquiries, although I foresee their response times increasing due to the volume of work.

I'm glad people are really discussing this now, because like others, I applied and went to sleep. ICES is really not bad for those who are have high CRS scores and can afford to miss ITAs.

It's a really tough job trying to read through lots of junks on this thread just to get one or two posts containing any useful information. All the religious hypocrites are gathered here. Fornicators, thieves, experts in exam malpractices, those who borrowed funds for use as PoF, altered their date of birth and other rule breakers all coming here to form religious, barely able to write a sentence without bringing God's name to it. Shame on you.

I applied on November 7 and it was still on received until I sent them a mail on January 9 asking what was going on. That's when they actually prepared the report. I received it two days later. You need to follow up with them.

Exercise in futility. You dont need supernatural power to pass an exam. Pagans have passed IELTS. Africans and God ish. A white man will look for a practical approach to a solution. We Africans will look for the God approach.

One last thing, people don't do all-night prayers and night vigils in Canada. If they solved all their problems with prayers in Canada, I don't think we would all be aspiring to go there.
I was waiting for someone else to say this. Its fascinating to see how religious most people on this thread are. If religion was indeed the solution to our problems, why don't we all stay back and pray for Nigeria? Why run to a country that practically has a majority agnostic population with no religious belief whatsoever?
