Please you guys should not derail this thread. This is not a study visa or express entry thread ![]() |
Once taxify takes over the market, they will also behave the exact way Uber is behaving now. That has been the way of monopolies since the beginning of time. Best thing is to keep the two companies in check, no need to drive Uber away. |
Babaelemu:I really hope the OP did not make the mistake of moving. Only people with nothing to lose in Nigeria should take the risk of uprooting their lives to come here and start from scratch. |
TheVictorious:By smoothing the data which means making some assumptions right? |
Processor01:Thank you, it makes sense but that also means we cannot draw a conclusion from the results because the sample size is not an accurate representation of the number of graduates from the institutions. ![]() I would like to know their methodology though. |
Please someone should clear this confusion for me. If Unilag has 1 million graduates and 500 thousand of the students are employed Covenant has 100 thousand students and 70 thousand are employed Would it be fair to say Covenant University has a higher employment rate without taking into account the average number of graduates per institution? |
AZeD1:Thank you ![]() |
Get excited and run downstairs when I hear mummy is back. Also search her bag to see if she bought anything for me ![]() |
I think it's global coz mine is down too. |
OP, if I were you, I would reduce the number of guests to 50 or 70. Honestly, 70 people is still a crowd. That will enable you feed them better on a small budget. Secondly, no one really needs printed photos these days. Get a photographer with a digital camera to take the pictures and give you the digital copy. Select one or two that you like and get it framed for your living room. For the shoe part, wedding gowns are usually so long that nobody sees your shoe. Your groom on the other hand, everybody will notice his shoe so probably best to invest in his shoe. Besides, he can wear the shoe long after the wedding to the office and anywhere. Women's shoes on the other hand have to match the ocassion and the dress. |
Smart guy! Instead of moulding sculpture of girlfriend that wont pay you, mould one of a personality that is sure to attract a high ROI. |
NextGovernor:Visited a popular church website today to find out their locations within my city, the webpage kept redirecting me to where I will buy their books and other stuff. Tried so hard to find a location close to me but the information wasn't even available on the website...just pathetic. |
Mcowubaba:Its obvious he meant local as in home-based. |
Downtown by Calvin Klein ....number 1 Versace for women ...number 2 Fendi.....my first ever perfume. Still love it.

maternal:I won't advice anyone to do this. There's a name for this kind of fraud and it's highly discouraged. You can only get away with it if your parents reside in Ontario and you reside in Quebec for educational purposes but do not intend to make it your primary residence. |
40manlappy:If you are single and earning above minimum wage, DO NOT move to Quebec, the taxes will kill you. If you are married with kids, Quebec is sweet coz there's lots of benefits..childcare, education, kids get to have French as first language, rent, utilities, buying a house is stupid cheap compared to other provinces. The downside is quebec healthcare is not so good coz they have limited number of doctors. It can take a while to get a family doctor assigned to you as well as paediatricians for your kids. The attractive thing is just the cost of living. Also, compared to Ontario, the waitlist for daycare is not so long just make sure you book preschools as soon as you realize you are expecting. |
SlowlybtSurely:Depends on your location, they usually approve join requests based on location. Ottawa for instance has more than 10 groups. Schools also have their groups. There are also groups for specific categories like baby things, clothes etc. Some groups like Buy, Sell, Trade or Free Ottawa, Ottawa Black Market, Ottawa Student Market, Snowpie.ca Black market. Some of the things are even free. For instance, this was posted as free today, first come, first served. Other cities have similar groups, try to search Facebook and send a join request.

vcole:Depends on what you are into... If you are into travel, BMO has a nice air miles package on their credit card If you are into movies, Scotiabank is bae for free movies. If you are into customer service, TD bank is it. You can also chill till TD bank does their annual Samsung Tab free gift for new customers. I would recommend visiting the site redflagdeal.com/forums to learn about rent, the best banks, tips/tricks/scams, companies to avoid working for, taxes, your rights as an employee, your rights as a tenant or homeowner, mortgage taxes, daycare etc. |
Fusion23:The city of Ottawa offers free furniture to new immigrants. You must have been referred by one of the immigration partners such as a church or other organization. IKEA is pricey but also remember that you can sell it off for 70% of the price even after extensive use if you buy quality. Try not to go cheap on mattress, sometimes it's not worth it. But stuff like TVs, end tables and coffee tables sure. You can also get these stuffs by joining the Facebook groups. Most people don't post on kijiji but on Facebook groups so it's safer to buy a mattress and couch from someone you can put a face to. I buy most of my stuff at ridiculously cheap prices from the FB groups...you can see a nice couch for $20-40 or a sectional for $150. |
Congratulations Giddyperson. Since you refused to update your diary, I have been stalking you on this thread. Now that you have given birth, I guess my days on this thread are over. ![]() Waiting for BS so I can officially exit. |
OP, your story is touching. I respect first borns a lot because they are like experiments. Parents learn from their mistakes with the first child and that is why the younger children have it easier in life. My elder sister for instance, my parents did a lot of trial and error with her which allowed them become better parents with us. |
Y'all are complaining about the fact that this cannot happen in Nigeria forgetting that the American electorate ensure that their leaders are held accountable to them. It is also for us the Nigerian electorate to hold our leaders accountable. Instead, all they have to do is pay a celebrity to mess up or commit a bigger scandal and we would forget about the bigger issues facing the country. |
I wont condemn her. For all you guys know, she probably has hungry kids who are also out of school. A mother will do anything to take care of her children. Looking at her, its obvious she isnt spending the money on herself. |
Answer is 98 The numbers in the first line when reversed give 23 Cross the second and third line and it gives 47 Third and fourth line give 79 Repeat the sequence in the first line again to give 98. |
Processor01:It wasnt worth my time. My friends had hyped it so much and the reviews were great so I decided to give it a try. It has good picture quality and a lot of money was spent on it but if you like movies with deeper content, this isnt the movie for you. |
Juliearth:Like stars on earth made me cry too. Like I literally finished a box of kleenex. |
Wedding party. Couldn believe I had let one hour of my life pass by just like that. |

Please, what is the name of these FB groups?
