Honorable Member of the Federal house of Representative Dino Melaye wrote the following on his Facebook page to explain why a former Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari, could not afford the N27 million APC presidential form.

According to the post, Mr. Melaye said: “I read online the question a lady asked. The question is how can Buhari who earns over 300million naira yearly claim that he can not afford to pay 27million naira for the APC presidential form. I became interested and decided to investigate. I went to the ministry of Finance where I discovered that it is true that all former Presidents and Head of states actually get 23million naira monthly. But I found out that General Buhari actually wrote the minister of Finance to reject the 23million monthly pay. He said in his letter that he will only accept 10percent or that amount which is 2.3million and that is what he has been taking. This is just to clear the air. What a Nigerian! what class of integrity! God please make us men and women of integrity. Amin.”

APC has been consistent in saying that PDP has ruled Nigeria for 16 disastrous years in which corruption, impunity, insurgency, armed robbery and several ills of society held sway.
But at a very close look at the APC, I am seeing:
1)Rotimi Amaechi – 8 years speaker; 7 year, Governor under PDP.
2)Atiku Abubakar – 8 years Vice president under PDP.
3)George Akume – 8 years Governor under PDP.
4)Bukola Saraki – 8 years Governor; 2 years, Senator under PDP.
5)Timipre Sylver – 4 years Governor under PDP.
6)Audu Ogbe – 2 years National Chairman of the PDP.
7)Aminu Masari – 4 years as the Speaker, House of Representatives under PDP.
Chris Ngige – 3 years Governor under PDP.
9)Rabiu Kwankwaso – 7 years Governor; 3 years Defense minister under PDP.
10)El Rufai – 4 years FCT Minister; 2 years BPE Chairman under PDP. 11)Tambuwal-3years as Speaker House of Reps under PDP.
Is APC a waste basket of the PDP, where the people who created and perpetuated the 16 disastrous years are now dumped ?.
So where is the change coming from?
Are they now saints because they joined APC?

The Saudis are always ready to sacrifice oil retail price to suit America's economic agenda and sabotage.

They did this in the 70's to cripple a secular democratic govt in Iran. The economic hardship led to Arab Spring like dictatorship which ushered in Ayatollah regime.

Today, with Russia, Brazil, Venezuela and Nigeria the US is bent on instigating economic hardship and social turmoil in order to uproot the govts in these countries.

Tinubu, Otedola, Dangote and Danjuma will be more affected, before any ant in the Nigerdelta feels the price drop. Oil at $5 per barrel is a problem for rest of Nigeria not the average Nigerdeltan. Quite frankly a huge relief for the people.

I am GEJ fan and will vote for him any time any day. But look at Lagos, Enugu and Ibadan rallies. You cannot equate them with Abeokuta. GEJ publicists need to be active. Buhari is a devil and must be shown as such. Someone who disobeys and ignores rule of law, someone who sentence people to 200 years, someone who defies international convention and turn the office of president into international kidnapping syndicate, someone who disobeys laws that Nigeria Bar Association abandoned courts for him, someone who started initiating Nigeria into OIC and support the sharia that was later hijacked by people (boko haram) who know how to implement it better, someone whose economic policy was just upside down. A sadist masquerading as a crusader should not be allowed to taste the seat of power.
Attimes I laugh at people who said that Nigerians have come of age and can never go back to the ages of dictatorship. I laugh because Germany of 1938 was more enlightened and prosperous than Nigeria of today and Hitler arose chanting the same slogan that Buhari is dishing to us now. Security, end of corruption etc.

You see my dear, one of the greatest dividend of democracy GEJ bequeathed to us is his absolute belief that every vote must count and free speech must always be uphold. It is based on these that hope was restored to the opposition which would not have been under Obasanjo regime. GEJ has achieved alot but his handles have allowed APC to use Boko Haram to define his administration and it is so sad.
