It hurts me to see how unintelligent or hypocritical some of us can be...

Now, from your post, kindly add IGR of those states alongside internal cum external debts and tell me where the thieves are...

Try and compare these funds with what is on ground in those states...thanks...
For a start, go and do the IGR for Osun state, then for Ebonyi State, then For Cross River, Gombe and Ekiti. Tell me what you get. You are an Idioooot!!! When Humans are talking, rats like you open their stinky mouth to feel relevant.

PoliticsRe: Revelation Of Lagoon Story by Code213:
I agree with the OP. Nigerians are addicted to tribal wars and blowing things out of proportion. The Oba's speech was clearly directed at those who were at that meeting. And i sensed the fraternal humour in it. I wonder if people actually watched that video.

PoliticsRe: Justice Forum Tackles Fayose, Asks INEC To Shift Poll by Code213: 6:13pm On Apr 09, 2015
All Fayose needed to do was to keep his uncouth mouth shut and work in partnership with the House Members. Trust me, if those House members intending to return to the house lose their elections come Saturday, they'll make sure Fayose goes down with them. Nigerians need to stop electing thugs like Fayose as Leaders.
PoliticsRe: Yoruba Politicians Are Smarter Than Their Igbo Counterparts: Oba Of Lagos Saga by Code213:
Richhard:
Absurd,but making sense!
smiley It makes a lot of sense. It may not have been pre-planned, but the ripple effect will encourage Yorubas to vote against 'Agbaje' to prove a point to Igbos that Lagos is Yorubaland. As a matter of fact, the Igbo votes will split more now than it was in the presidential elections. Some businessmen do not want any trouble in Lagos o! They will prefer Ambode wins to let peace reign. Whether Ambode or Agbaje, it doesn't really change much to them.

italo:
Ambode anD APC always had the upperhanD in Lagos.
If the Oba's rant does anything, it galvanizes the neutral undecided votes towards Agbaje and PDP, especially Igbos and other non-Yorubas. Also Yoruba votes are divided while Igbo votes aren't.
I think the Oba has just made the race tighter than it should have been.
Tribalism is always foolish in the end.
Are you adding Hausas to that your 'Non-Yoruba' equation? Sorry o!! Those guys only recognize one acronym -APC. I wish Agbaje was the APC aspirant, but since he isn't, all i can wish him is 'goodluck'.

for the fact that you are not an igbo man then forget it cos i can't be an igbo man and have a yoruba or hausa altitude, igbos don't live like slaves, instead of living like a slave they will cave out a portion and make it a safe zone for their selves in case if being maltreated by their host... They can never live a low profile life, they are with igbo gene, that's their blood..... You are not an igbo and so, you can never understand what makes igbo, igbos # it's a #MYSTERY

..because when you begin to play opposition politics...and the state begins to victimise you...you will realise than Lagos is not a no-mans land
why do you keep saying 'Lagos is no man's land?'. Lagos is somebody's ancestral home. You guys should stop all this inciting comments.

PoliticsRe: Message From An Igbo Leader. by Code213: 10:59am On Apr 08, 2015
naijasaints:
Message from an igbo elder. These people own here... this is their home and we must respect their feelings. Every person living in Lagos wants more federal presence in Lagos. We want a 4th mainland bridge, we want so many other things that the federal government can do.

In the years past, Lagos hasn't enjoyed much federal intervention because of political
party differences. Now they have that chance and we want to spoil it for them by being more catholic than the pope. Let everybody vote any candidate he wants but I reject any collective Igbo move to vote against the strategic interests of the people who own the land where we live and make our living.

Lagos has been good to our people. We have succeeded here in business and the professions.
Let's not disrespect the people of Lagos. I will not support any move that will create an impression that Igbos are against the interest of the owners of Lagos.

Nobody has murdered our people here like what we see in the north. Lagos remains the only state in this country where Igbos hold top government positions.
Even our neighbors and brothers, Rivers State have never given us that privilege despite our huge population and presence there....As for me, I want Lagos to progress and on Saturday, I will proudly vote for Akinwumi Ambode. Spread d news.
God Bless you for this post.

Lagos is somebody's ancestral home. Respect that. Igbos should learn humility and stop saying 'Lagos is no man's land', that's unfair. Imagine what will happen if Hausas populate Aba and begin to chant 'Aba is no man's home'. It's like rubbing it on their face. it's unfair. We are Africans, and we maintain strong links to our ancestral homes. Noff said. Those who have sense should use it.

Rather than get their population educated, they'll rather get them entertained. Africa needs to get its priorities right and get serious about its future. It's about time we invest in science and stop this idol worship of entertainers.

We (southerners) are our own worst enemies. The north will control to rule us until we learn that the basis of politics in Nigeria is not rooted on fundamental policies and programme but it tends towards religious inclination and regional protection.

Just imagine Amaechi and ROCHAS Killing themselves to push their slave to master mentality on us while key PDP northern governors are delivering their states to the opposition without any fuss nor confusion.

THE uneducated north is more intelligent than the educated South. They allow the south have all the electronic media, social platforms, and others information dissemination apparatus and when issues of politics surfaces or rather electioneering campaigns, the south debate themselves out chanting programmes, policies and manifesto everyday on social platforms while the northerners vote for anything Alhaji without recourse to program of the certain candidate nor his qualification.

Time shall tell.

naijadeyhia:
Please Kindly get your facts right before posting ridiculous things like this. The person who said Nigeria would be made ungovernable was a PDP chieftain

1. Major General Muhammadu Buhari never said he will make Nigeria ungovernable in 2011 in any public format.

2. It was a PDP politician, Alhaji Lawal Kaita who actually said Nigeria would be ungovernable if Jonathan became president in 2011.

3. It was Jonathan’s media spokesman, Reuben Abati who sat down and largely concocted the slanderous libel against Buhari’s name in April 2011.

4. General Muhammadu Buhari took Reuben Abati to court for damaging his name.

5. The Jonathan Presidency begged Major General Buhari to settle the case with Reuben Abati and the Guardian out of court. See in DailyPost of January 13th, 2013: http://dailypost.ng/2013/01/13/presidency-begs-buhari-to-settle-slander-case-out-of-court/.

6. General Buhari obliged and settled out of court. Reuben Abati with The Guardian published an unreserved apology to Buhari in the Guardian of 11th July, 2013.

7. Late General Azazi referred to the PDP “ungovernable” crises and anger that did actually lead to Boko Haram terror franchise hired by the PDP.
