At this rate, you should start building your travel history with a Schengen visa. Slightly easier than UK visa.

You can even try US as they don't even ask for or look at any document you present. You might just get the visa. US visa is a good start. If not Schengen.

UK will scrutinize very single document and every single claim you make. From what you have stated, I'm not sure you should apply for a UK visa now.

Start paying yourself like 2.5 to 3M monthly. Keep your monthly expenses at a minimum. Build your account over 6 months and get your tax stuff sorted.

Then, you can apply maybe in Q4 or earlier next year. If you can, travel this year. It will help.

@codernoni apply for a Schenghen visa if you are not ready to be overly scrutinised for a visitor visa. No UK ECO is going to believe that with these huge figures you claim as your financial standing(600million)… you have no travel history to a first world nation. Suspicious profile.

Speaking of travel to a first worl country , that is what I'm trying to do by going to the UK.
I chose UK as i have relatives there so accommodation and flexing would be sorted .

if you want to use your company paying you salary , get ready to submit your tax as well and company must be active,also you must declare your annual returns

if u get 1m per money and you spend 200k per month out of it , they would be calculating 800k x 3 with is 2.4m ( thats the amount you can spend on your trip for 2 weeks

they don care about huge funds in account.

after all that done , are you married , do you have kids ,cos all that would also count as home ties apart from your account or properties cos they even hardly care about properties this days since documents can be done .

I am a self employed trader .
I applied for a visit visa in 2023 but was rejected with the ECO stating that the information that I provided does not demonstrate the annual financial position of my business or the level of annual income stated...

Now, i want to reapply next year but i want to get the best advice so i can have a better application

First of all, is my business YEARLY income referring to net profit or entire turnover ?

Im asking because during my last application which was rejected , i stated 18m (which was net profit for the previous year) but currently my turnover for 2024 was over 600m and net profit of 120m and this year i expect it to be slightly higher.

If i put such figures , i am afraid it may seem i am trying to package my application . Should I reduce it to something more believable ?

I don't have much of suppliers invoice as i get most of my goods from my chinese supplier and the whole transaction is done on Wechat and WhatsApp .

Which other way can i prove my income How do i convince the ECO that my business is earning that amount as i don't pay tax (and honestly not willing to pay 40m as tax to Nigerian govt just cos of visa) Or do all self employed submit tax clearance certificates before they are issued a visa?

How else do i demonstrate that? I had submitted 5 months corporate account bank statement , CAC certificate (it was active).

I also pay myself a salary of 1m (i can always adjust this based on your advice, i am CEO lol), and it will be reflected in my bank statement . I also plan to deposit upto 8m in piggyvest to show as my SAVINGS.

Im also worried about the amount to state thst I'm willing to spend on my trip before ECO will soon start saying that it is 6x my monthly income and decline my application again.

I took my 2008 honda accord for a trip.. I noticed the engine will lose power and stall when climbing hills.. I managed it like that but along the trip it become worse, struggling to accelerate and going off a couple of times.
Most times i just cleared off the road and allowed it for some 1-2mins and it wil start and drive off again for some 5mins before losing power, crawling and maybe going off.
The last time it went off before i got to my destination, the steering got stiff, the low oil pressure and battery light came on before it went off.
NB my oil levels are okay.

I have no check engine light on.
I called my mechanic he said it should be a bad fuel pump. Are you suspecting the same? GAZZUZZ
