May God punish each and every politicians that have looted our National Treasury, no matter the party they are,, especially those that were borrowing money to pay salaries at the time our country made the highest revenue /profits in Oil sales. Those that looted and shared the money among themselves to send our country into recession and pains. And if you are one of the supporters of these looters and thieves, May God punish you too, Oles everywhere. (Quote this post if you are one of them, let Nairalanders know you TODAY )
The political clown in you won't let you see the folly in that last part that talks about restructuring debt but he is resisting restructuring of the system that is suppose to repay the debt. It is like a business set up with loan and is failing in loan repayment due to chaotic management structure but instead of restricting the business for growth you ask for the loan to be restructured. Buhari is deeply clueless and insensitive. |

ThatIgedeBoy: LoL. Go and look at what prof is doing in war torn Borno state despite the years of terrorism, look at their schools, hospitals and roads in Borno state. Less I forget, Ortom is not fighting shit. He only makes noise to gather sympathy. The only thing he has commissioned in his eight years is his new house at judges quarters....
Meanwhile development is going on day and night here in Lagos. Alaye no even mention Ortom and any form of development abeg. A friend who is a PA to him had a car, now the dude flies bike, he was better off when he wasn't working for Benues state government. Borno state in the midst of war can boast of some of the best primary and secondary public schools in the country ( in terms of infrastructure) and Benue state government is owing 11months salary.... Please lets appreciate the people who are working If you agree I sell you a tin of milk of N200 at N10,000 then I will applaud the inflation in Lagos state. |

ThatIgedeBoy: Can you at least take a look at the good side. Many state governments are collecting allocations plus their IGR and they dont even have a proper hospital. I am from Benue state, we have had our share of bad governance. If my governor and most governors in Nigeria are are working like Lagos is working and inflating price do you really think we would complain? Most governors are awarding contracts for white elephant projects, those contracts are still inflated and the money is shared, you don't talk about those. Why don't you appreciate the one who is atleast doing something with the money. He could choose not to do anything and just like other governors watch netflix and chill. Do dead men go for treatment in hospitals? Ortom is battling futa jalon investors already. Thank God for life. |

Tax system won't work here. Our resource control is a form of tax that is enforced by FG already and it isn't fair. If govt can take ND oil and spare SW & NW gold for illegal miners, what makes you think a right thinking ND man will want to pay tax when he has already been robbed regionally? You take the oil the state govts are suppose to engage to employ their state people before they pay salary based taxes then waste the resources and expect them to pay you taxes after surviving on their. Water and light is generated by businesses at higher rate because the centre is a failure and you want them to pay tax from their little profits. That's why we need to restructure this diplomatic robbery called Nigeria to move forward. Everyone needs it. |
