Felixalex: If at all this story of kidnap is true, We should know there is a reason why government usually lies that no ransom was paid for the release......
Simply to NOT encourage others to think kidnapping is a lucrative venture How did Miyetti allah become involved in it all? Let them give us a lie for that also. America already asked Buhari to bring the kidnappers to book because they know it is a poorly scripted episode. This time around, we haven't heard of withholding of Christians probably because of the religious intolerance pressure from Intl community. As a matter of fact, I can not rule out the option of US being in the know about buhari's scripted plan when when they highlighted religious repression in Nigeria few days ago, They subtly hinted Buhari not to hold back the Christians among them this time around. |

Claudiusdeux: Why didn't Buhari then deal with the things that led to the kidnap happening in the first place. It's part of why he was voted into office.
That the kidnapped boys were released does not count as a success for this government...not when the issues that led to the kidnap are still there in the first place.
And the kidnappers are at large and will never be brought to book. Failure 2, and the most important. Also explains why buratai was uploading snake farm pictures. scripted. Next phase will be one outrageous anti corruption headline to top it all, just watch. |
Politics › Re: Anti-Buhari Elements Disappointed As School Kids Are Released by CodeTemplar: 5:59am On Dec 18, 2020 |
Claudiusdeux: It wasn't a scam, it just shows that APC does not want to be like PDP.
PDP did not handle Chibok well, and it cost them. APC on the other hand handled Kankara and in the past Dapichi quickly. They don't want the thing to fester to a point where Mrs Trump would be holding 'Bring back our boys' posters in the White House.
But this victory is also defeat too. The kidnappers are still at large, and Katsina schools are now at risk. And all this improbable drama had to come just after the beheading of farmers? Buhari scripted it all to look competent. Why hasn't Leah Sharibu been given same priority? Buhari scripted all this. He has now made beheading of people lucrative because BH too will have elements who want to show some gusto. |

JayReeMai: Ask Low-class to middle class Nigerians to choose between having kids and a billion dollars, you would be shocked majority of them will choose to have kids even though they don’t know where their next meal will come from. Why’s this so?
As for me, I’ll gladly take the money and go for adoption, set up multiple businesses. We have many orphans, homeless kids around, and most of these kids are in this situation because of the decisions of their parents (you see a man that can’t fend for himself getting married and having multiple kids).
CC Dominique Lalasticlala If everybody chooses a billion dollar, who will produce the things a billion dollar is meant to buy. Money, though vital, is deceptive in nature. Anytime you want to do something and want to know if it is evil or good thing, ask yourself what the world will be like if every one did same thing in principle. |

BluntNigerian: I don't understand the need for all these numerous biometric databases in the first place.. Biometric data in the hands of private entities is considered safer and arouses lesser suspicion worldwide. Once the govt is involved, the tendency for absolute power to corrupt absolutely is amplified almost immediately and that creates a monstrous problem. Look at how they used CBN regulatory power to frustrate endsars donors. Once the have your VIN tied or linked to your NIN, they can discriminate against those who voted who in election when doing welfare schemes for example so that question of the limit of its use must be properly defined. |

Gerrard59: He's right, oil companies really pay that high. In fact, amongst the international oil companies, Shell pays the lowest but is noted to offer the best training schemes. For instance, Total pays entry-level engineers at least 2M naira. Oil and gas companies pay their permanent staff in line with global practices because anyone could be moved from one location to another and the pay should reflect what the industry offers irrespective of location.

Brilliant idea but in Nigeria the abnormal is always triumphing over the normal and sensible options. They can use it to check multiple voters registrations and many more ills but what happens when some section of the country subtly reject on religious ground and circumvent the system to their advantage and to the disadvantage of those who complied?

paxonel: like who? Are these billionaires public figures like the Bishop? If there is any such billionaires then they shouldn't allow the community of Muslims according to the op, to fend for an old woman who was suppose to be a family member as if she was begging to be sponsored, including the bishop himself. the focus is not only on the Bishop. Everyone in that family who God has blessed so much like the Bishop were suppose to take responsibility for the welfare of that woman. really? Let me ask you, if you have an aged mum who desires to go for her whatever religious pilgrimage and you are blessed with the means to assist her won't you assist her without comparing the money you will spend for her to ogogoro money? Saying her begging a family member who is Christian to sponsor her Islamic creed is like begging a staunch Muslim for ogogoro money does not follow as embarking on a religious pilgrimage isn't the same as drinking alcohol.
OK, the children to this same woman says they want to be pastors and you are quick to sponsor them to become pastors. What stop you from sponsoring her, is it because she is Muslim? That amount to religious discrimination, faith consciousness and perpetual selective favoritism which should not be heard that someone like a Bishop, man of God is practicing with people of his household, Even God himself will frown So it is his fane that's arousing the destructive envy? I pity your life. |
