light099: Hushpuppi is a celebrity to the celebrities. Some celebrities which masses of Nigerians worship are fans of Hushpuppi. While some celebrities secretly begged him for money. He lived a life many celebrities envy and wished for. He met with great people, being to top places, used expensive shiits and has enjoyed that V.I.P treatment of a star.
But who really is he? He doesn't sing, play football or act movies yet he's known worldwide. People flaunt wealth on Social Media but Hushpuppi stands out among them all. He's that special one who gets most of the attention.
I think the guy has a bright star and was destined to be a big figure in life, but he messed it up by being impatient and taking a shortcut. Now he might have finally kissed his great destiny goodbye. I so agree with the bold. Shortcut and impatience. People who adore money forget how money system works. It is backed up and ramped up in value by production. Since technology came along to boost production, the wealth game has become much savvier. The tech-savvy and economically minded have that edge over others but our people prefer everything to come now. They want to hit jackpot without playing lotto. |

Kobojunkie: Did you even bother reading what i posted?
Read the short chapter for yourself. You can't just pick a verse out of context, inject your own delusion into it and then say, "yay! God has spoken".
The book is written in the English language and so when reading, you have to apply the rules as regards reading comprehension as far as the language in question is concerned. All scriptures are given by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost and no Scripture is of private interpretation. |

Kobojunkie: If you read that verse in the context which it exists, you will find that it is speaking to the same rebuilding of the temple, The House of God(God's Spirit used to inhabit the Holy of Holies in the temple) that the prophet Haggai also spoke of. Nonsense. What does it say? or are you afraid the verse is so plain and direct, you are already on the defensive? |

karo93: Please give us a link to your articles or better still a list of every anti-christ statement the apostle has made. So we can judge them one by one...
Much to your anger, prosperity has played a key role in the spread of the gospel....
The power of rome picked christianity from the original christians and spread it to the whole roman empire of which Britain and all of europe were part of.....
The power of britain and influence of other european countries brought christianity to Africa and the rest of the world through conquest and colonialism.....
The influence and might of the Arabs was also seen in the spread of islam all the way from the middle east as far as west africa where they conquered lands in their might and prosperity and spread their religion....
Conquest has so far being the major key that has spread religion and only prosperous nations were strong enough to conquer others..... Zechariah 1:17 confirms your submission. Prosperity is key. For body, spirit and soul. |

Acehart: I haven’t heard any of his sermons but his name got imprinted on my mind on his birthday with whatsapp status updates and Nairaland well wishers.
On one of the updates, he spoke to his congregation about the favor of David towards Mephibosheth; in the midst of his dramatic oratory, he left out the most important point; whether intentional or not, I regarded that short clip as a lying message. Then a few days later, my friend in the US called and expressed his dismay about one of his friends being misled by this man’s messages. I thought: “what a coincidence”!
An Apostle means “an eye witness (of the resurrection of Christ)”. So I usually regard people who go about that title as false messengers.
Your writeup is cool; and I hope young people will realize that this man isn’t the real deal, very soon. Please confirm that your meaning of the word apostle. It means "a sent one" or "a messenger". |
Business › Re: How CBN Deliberately Prevents Naira From Appreciating Against Dollar - Sahara R. by CodeTemplar: 7:25pm On Jul 03, 2020 |
omenka: Sometimes, deliberately suppressing the rise of one's currency against the dollar is a strategy deployed by governments to attract FDIs. Nowhere else is this more entrenched than in China, which is one of the reasons behind their endless squabbles with Uncle Sam.
I am not really sure if similar strategy would augur well for Nigeria anyway, since the other factors necessary to attract such FDIs, such as dependable critical infrastructure, are lacking.
Come what may, I wish my dear country well. We'll come out of the current economic quagmire stronger I believe. Let me guess, insecurity and highhandedness in sensitive issues is another way of attracting FDI also. Nonsense! |
