Let me share my experience

Am a freelancer specialized in Graphic design (Brand identity design and visual communication). Have worked remotely for different establishment via upwork although i have a full time paying job presently before the COVID-19 issue.

Around last month, i applied for a remote position as a graphic designer for a company in Germany via upwork, luckily i was shortlisted for interview(video via zoom)....After 2 weeks it was my turn to be interviewed, i was sent some messages as regards the time for the interview...to cut the long story short, i got the job....the offer was not bad....$10/hr to work 40hrs/week. There after on-boarding was done for all remote workers that was employed via zoom.

On a faithful day i got a mail that there would be a meeting with the CEO of the company, which was going to be our first time meeting with him via zoom and duration was 30mins....The meeting was scheduled for 10:00am, i got prepared and suddenly i was welcomed by a frustrating network (etisalat), God...it was so frustrating....i tried all i could cause it was the only option i had at that moment....but to no avail...i finally got a stable network at 10:25 or so......Having worked with white's remotely, i know how they operate, i knew this job offer might be terminated...I sent a mail immediately after the meeting that i had network glitch (mind you this isn't my first zoom meeting).

Some few days later, the CEO sent a message to me and terminated the contract. I was speechless but mehn i learnt my lesson......

But God so good, i got some other jobs but will still keep pressing on!

IT IS REAL......

- Learn a skill preferably in IT, be very good at it........you will get good remote jobs with mouth watery offer and crazy benefits.
- I have friends that earn $2500 comfortably every month working remotely.

I've been stuck at WES verification since February, after several back and forth, the school decided to respond last week.
I expected WES to update my status with a completion timeline, however, my status simply changed from awaiting verification to "we are processing a new package or document for your application".
Is this normal? Should I reach out to WES? Especially since I already lost valuable time on the verification stage.

I have taken hepatitis vaccine 4yr ago before I asked her out. The vaccine will last 10yr in my body. I intend to conduct HIV test for her but I'm planning to book an appointment with a therapist because I know she has so many weakness which I have seen (level of thinking, easily deceive, parental upbringing, level of exposure, I don't care attitude, etc) in her and may bring more problems if I marry her. I know her too well but she doesn't know herself and I'm trying to help her out so she wouldn't destroy her life. I have tried my best to let know her weakness but she doesn't see it as big deal. So, if she doesn't change her attitude after seeing a therapist, I will have to quit the relationship.

I'm not wasting her time. That's I gave her another chance because I love. Its not matter of how I invested in her but the pain of seeing the one I love cheat on me is unbearable. I did medical check up for her in order to see if she has any complication after she said she has terminated the pregnancy. I conducted HVS and Urinalysis test for her in order to see if she has any infections but she has no bacterial infection. I treated her for yeast infection and I'm the one that foot the medical bills.

I wish for her to be the mother of my children but I don't want to get her pregnant immediately. I just want to watch her for some months to see of she has change or not and if she hasn't, I have no option but to end up the relationship.

Help me understand, if it is unacceptable, why exactly are you taking her back?

Please don't waste that lady's time if you made up with her because you feel you've invested so much money and time or you're scared of being lonely.

If you're creating a thread about it, it obviously means you're not over it. End the relationship and let her heal from the pain of a broken relationship she caused.

In fact, since she came plain to you, you should also tell her you've cheated.
